Yeah I'm sure some of them are messed up, haven't bothered to check and don't much care really.  When I say "possibilities" I mostly mean "hey these'd be neat to store special things in" so I don't have any plans to try and build anything with them yet.  Unlike RoboRider and BIONICLE canisters there don't seem to be any connection points at all, which is a shame.

As for discs they all seem like a generic variety, but the gold Millennium one looks neat.

That question is why mine's been sitting in its box in the closet for a past year.

Well it is a daunting build.  I built one bag per day so I didn't have to dedicate a giant block of time to it doing a lot of repetitive stuff.

The design is gonna be lasered on so I don't really have a choice of color there, more that I wanted opinions on whether I should choose a design that's associated with darker colors like Vakama or something more generic like the three virtues symbol.

I want to say the proportions look off... clever tho.

Are there some things that just… use a black background for transparent images for some reason?

I can't really even fathom what a $150 Overwatch set would even consist of. I'd be surprised to see the price points reach that high. A CMF series seems plausible, probably BrickHeadz, and a range of System sets, but even then I'd think $100 might be the highest it'd go.

I think they just have a bot that crawls through the pages, so it just happened upon your profile a few times but couldn't get anything from it so just archived the board message.

My profile also has a bunch of hits, mostly from mid-late 2008 when I hit the forums like a wrecking ball.

 

2. I didn't mind the cooked porgs scene.  It seemed more in-line with traditional STAR WARS humor than the quirky dialogue that they had in the beginning between Poe and General Hux.

The Jaegers look too sleek and designed, like later-MCU Iron Man suits.  And they seem way less physical in the way they move, which doesn't sell the scale of things.

Judging by it's placement in the set picture, it looks like some addition to a minifig, which may mean it only shows up one to a set, making it expensive to get a large quantity of them. (On the other hand, it will probably show up in other sets as part of the build, AKA in higher quantities.)

 

The helicopter set uses one on its nose in addition to the minifigure one, so there's a chance it'll find more widespread use.  And there's always things like LUGBULK.

No, a lot of people look past it.  Probably because such people have always been heavily represented in most, if not all, of the media they've consumed.  Being able to say "I'm represented" doesn't matter because, to them, being represented is the default.

This is the greatest fight scene in all of Star Wars.  No other duel manages to build that much character and story without dialogue.

Could you make some sort of generic multicolored grid and apply it to the arms to get a feel for where the edges of the arm decals line up?

Oh snap, I also just realized this would provide a great lore reason behind the name "Barraki".

While the site's policies may still have a few holes that let some of the antagonization through, I'm glad that BZP has a community where people can feel comfortable enough to be open about things like this.
