Hey, just thought I'd pop in and let you know that having members of clubs on "probation" is against Blog rules. According to Blog rules, no members of blogs can be excluded for any reason at any time, "probation" included.

This looks to me like it focuses more on ending HF than bringing back Bionicle, so I won't join. The only thing I have against HF is that it replaced Bionicle, so if Bionicle comes back while HF is still going, my hatred will stop.

He's right, you know. While our causes are in direct opposition of each other, that does not mean we can hate or flame each other the way some of you have been. If we just agree to disagree, we can prove ourselves to be mature enough to be taken seriously.

 

Think about it: if two people were asking you the same favour, one who asks you nicely and one who threatens to throw a tantrum if you don't, who would you rather do the favour for?

BTW, it's Makuta_of_Oz with underscores. Makuta of Oz with spaces is another member entirely. What if he wasn't an AC/DC fan and he saw his name on the list?

Reading this entry brought back a lot of memories of my time in Scouts:

In a camp I was at called the Cuboree in 2008 (I was a Venturer Scout helper) we were hit by the edge of a cyclone! Many activity areas, including the one I was working in, were condemned for the rest of the camp, and the day the storm hit we spent all afternoon evacuated in a tent. Some Scouts' tents also got damaged or even destroyed by falling trees and flying branches, so we spent that night in a nearby barn. Many Cub Scout packs even went home a day early because of the chaos!

Also, I remember seeing someone use a match and a can of Aerogard (sp?) to make a flamethrower and torch some slug they found. Our group leader banned taking Aerogard and similar to all camps after that!

I assume it also means you have your higher leader's respect? Cuz that's the one thing I never got when I was in Scouts. I got the Yellow Cord, the Australian Scout Medallion, even the Queen's Scout... but never my leaders' respect.
