  1. IC: TBK [9/20] Outside the everlasting battle against Luroka was TBK, sneaking toward the outward rim of the pile of corpses. His goal was to keep at least a hint of surprise as he approached Chro, but trying to climb over a myriad of bodies inconspicuously was a task that was simply beyond his ability. He finally stopped just outside earshot of Chro, and as was his habit, he stopped and hid until he had an opportune moment. Within a few seconds, the moment came: Shadowhawk was aiming at Chro. Just as Shadowhawk pulled the trigger, TBK lunged from his spot and sprinted -- or rather, attempted to sprint -- over the bodies to close the distance as quickly as possible, hoping Chro was too distracted to notice in time. As he ran, TBK heated his blades and prepared to throw a stab or two. [9/20] Charging Chro.
  2. IC: TBK [11/20] Fortunately, the blast of plasma had successfully wiped out the horde of rahkshi, but as one of the rahkshi exploded from the heat, his staff propelled toward TBK at a bit of a scary speed. He managed to dodge most of the staff, but the projectile still nearly ripped his shoulder open [9/20]. Nonetheless, TBK was now free to join his teammates in the fight... but where? Then he noticed Luroka and Fishers playing some weird tug-of-war with a big drill-looking thing. He charged up his blade to fire at Luroka, but just before he released, he saw someone else about to swing down on Fishers from behind -- so he swung his arm and fired a bolt of plasma at Chro instead. [9/20] Attacking Chro.
  3. IC: Kovant, aboard Duality The quiet De-Matoran was once again sitting on the bow of the boat, deep in thought and sporadically scribbling notes and thoughts as they flew through his mind. The peace, however, was shattered by the blow of the boat's horn, and he looked up for the first time in an hour, quite annoyed until a familiar sight met his eyes. The grand sight of the City of Flames sent a surge of both relief and excitement through his body. As much as Kovant loved traveling Spherus Magna, he would never pass up an opportunity to walk through his old dwelling, among old friends. For him, the Ta-Matoran were the equivalent of his family that he never knew -- for him, this was home. As they approached the docks, Kovant hefted himself back to his feet and strode to the deck of the caravan, looking for anyone who needed help packing or securing anything. Kovant himself had very little to worry about aside from his knives, pouch, and new shield, so he naturally had time to help others move things around.
  4. I wish I was still alive to see this Nonetheless, it was beautiful.
  5. IC: TBK [13/20] TBK's eyes fluttered open as he woke to the sounds of gunfire, lasers, and clashing metal. The second round had already started. And here he was, sleeping and having nightmares about rahkshi and skull spiders... strangely enough, however, he looked up to see 15 rahkshi attempting to violently poke him. [11/20] Maybe those weren't nightmares. "Well, this is convenient." He scrambled to his feet, backing away from and flashing his blade toward the horde. He wanted to help out his team, but he could do little before he got rid of these armored slugs. He spun around and sprinted from the rahkshi for nearly a hundred feet, and when he was confident they were all behind him, he spun around and let loose a stream of plasma toward his foes. [11/20] Attacking Rahkshi.
  6. All I can observe is this upcoming round will be very interesting.
  7. Woohoo. That was fun. Grats, Trimminghack!

These are beautiful. In both artisticyness and funnydom. Little more needs to be said. That suspicious boss, tho
  9. IC: TBK's Ghost - dead - [0/20] A brilliant plan formed in his mind -- right before he died. Dangit. He died via shield behind a shield. Oh well. His ghostly essence watched the final hours of the battle continue as his body lazily drifted upwards to who knows where.
  10. IC: TBK [9/20] As he was watching Zero through the hole, he nearly blacked out as a bullet grazed his skull [7/20] and another flew past the wall into his shoulder [6/20]. He had forgotten about Colette. Mata Nui, I need to pay more attention. He needed to do something quickly, lest he simply hide and get shot to death. The problem was that he needed to get close to do any damage. He looked around the room, and his eye caught the ornate metal piece of furniture that he had hidden behind earlier. In spite of his dire circumstances, his face stretched into a wide grin. Colette and Zero watched a table float out of the window. Behind the makeshift shield was TBK, pedaling the table with the aid of extreme heat below his feet. "This is gonna turn out so badly," he mumbled as he lit his blades. Current: [6/20]
  11. If I see you getting one of those puppets to use a shovel successfully, none shall ever refrain from calling you multi-talented. On a more serious note, I'm glad to see you bringing these back! Looking forward to more.
  12. Bonkles and Bonklettes. Guys and gals. It's perfect. how about just bonklettes -Tyler Ok, but if everyone else becomes the bonklettes, I'll become the Lone Bonkle. :>
  13. IC: TBK [9/20] Satisfied that the shadow had been swiped away, TBK dove out of the view of the window before he could get hit by the energy blasts, swimming up against the opposite side of the wall facing Zero. This was a point where TBK wished that he had chosen that rifle instead -- his blades weren't exactly long-range weapons. He peered out of the hole made from Chro's laser and sighted Zero's location. He decided that he would base his attack on Zero's next action, and he waited to see whether Zero would move or continue firing.
  14. That was a truly beautiful triple hang. Except for Zakaro, who happened to be innocent. OH WELL =D
  15. Bonkles and Bonklettes. Guys and gals. It's perfect.
  16. Gearheads was the first thing that popped into my mind.
  17. Ok, I'll assume that JiMing is watching us through the window then IC: TBK [10/20] He managed to punch a hole through the shadow clone, but it seemed rather unfazed; instead, it ducked and rolled past TBK's legs, taking a swipe at his feet. TBK lifted his feet, but the maneuver was just slightly inhibited by the water enough for the blade to smack his heels [9/10]. TBK spun around and faced his attacker's clone. Though the blade had little effect on the shadow, it seemed to show that the clone would not slow down until it was completely incapacitated. Focusing all the energy he could muster, he filled his blades and his own body with heat to the point of a bright glow in order to weaken the shadow, and he released a vicious barrage of swipes at the shadow in an attempt to dissipate its wispy form.
  18. I would assume that the creator is controlling them, considering that their powers are limited to manipulation of shadow, for lack of a better word, and thus only able to control one at a time. I think creating new intelligent beings is a different ballpark... or at least, I hope so.
  19. But EOPE is how it's spelled though But that doesn't sound intimidating at all. ... Actually, I'm not sure how to pronounce XOPE, either
  20. Look on the bright side: at this rate, you could form XOPE. Ehks's Overly-Pictured Effigy.
  21. Okie dokie. And I'm assuming no one's in the building yet? IC: TBK [10/20] TBK sat still in the corner of the room, watching every entrance for movement. A few moments later, a laser zapped a hole through the wall right next to him. Hm, I guess they could do that too, he thought. He decided to abandon that post and seek another route of escape through the back of the building -- the building was weak enough for his plan to backfire completely. As he started to swim out from behind the table, he caught a glimpse of a shadow coming in through the window behind him. The weird part was that there was nothing casting the shadow. That can't be good, he thought. Then the shadow lunged out of the floor, already swinging its dark blade. "EGAD!" he shouted, raising his arm to block the attack. As the sword hit his shield, he thrust the blade on his other arm toward the abdomen of the shadowy figure.
  22. OOC: It's actually kind of satisfying to come back and see myself getting attacked from three sides IC: TBK [13/20] Well, this was a problem. Fortunately, such problems could easily be fixed by crazy evasion dance maneuvers. Unfortunately, he somehow still got hit by a bullet and grazed by a laser. [10/20] He did manage to miss that hammer, though. He continued and finally closed the distance between himself and his dagger floating next to SV's foot. Or was that a foot? Anyway, he latched the blade back on, and continued swimming away from the trio attacking him -- he wouldn't last a minute against them alone. However, his movement was beginning to become inhibited by the damage he was taking, so he decided to swim into another nearby building, still halfway intact among the debris, and hid in the nearest room's corner behind a conveniently flipped table. He had sort of a plan, but it was a hope against hope.
  23. IC: Kovant, in Lekar's dwelling Having become enamored with the shield, Lekar's comment made Kovant jump a bit. "Oh, uh..." he stuttered for a moment. "Actually, it is a very beautiful piece of armor." He paused and thought for a moment, and continued, "It would be a honor to become its possessor. But that, of course, only if you are no longer using such a weapon yourself."
  24. IC: TBK [13/20] TBK began nearing his target when she fired off three quick shots. He was just about close enough to attack, but he instead had to use his arms for the purpose of shielding himself from the rounds, floating right past her. He brought himself to a stop, and focusing the energy already within his blade, he fired off a bolt of plasma at Colette. He was running low on elemental power again, so he would soon have to resort solely to his blade and shields. Blade? Dang it, he left the other one behind. Still facing Colette, he began strafing back toward SV's body. Or rather, what was left of it.
  25. IC: TBK [13/20] As TBK was nearing SV's location, SV randomly exploded. He wasn't quite near enough to take any damage, but the shockwave still sent him reeling back at a decent speed. As a result, he barely missed the bullets flying past him, right before noticing his new attacker. He started toward her, then he remembered. "Luroka!" He looked back behind him, but Luroka was gone. [Most of] his body floated there, singed from the explosion. And lifeless. TBK didn't quite like seeings his friends die. Rage filled his veins. Slowly, he turned his head back toward Colette. In a flash, he used another focused explosion of heat under his feet to propel himself toward her, his blade beginning to glow once again.
