  1. Of course Zip. I turn 17 in February. Yeah, we really do need support. It seems like every critics club on this forum is dying. Comedies, Epics, and Short Stories hardly get any reviews, COTSCG is starting to get slower, and the BBC CC has been really slow lately as well... Good to see you back, BD [well, as a Premier Member]. Looking forward to seeing more MOCs, too. I should join, but I'm just not good at full on reviews. I could definitely add valuable input though. I don't know how!? -BD
  2. So, as you have noticed, the blog is back! It’s been quite awhile has it not? I believe that my membership ended back in the 10th grade. I’m now in my second semester of my junior year. So yeah, it’s been awhile. So let’s see. I’ll try to summarize everything into 5 points. Before I get ahead of myself though, I’d like to introduce myself to members who I haven’t had the chance to meet. Most people call me BD on here. I’m 16, and an obvious fan of LEGO. I enjoy MOCing, and my goal is to place 1st in a BBC. It’s literally my driving force to improve my skills. Now, let’s move on to the more important matters. • I’m not too disappointed over the ending of Bionicle. It is a bummer however, the story will go on, and so that’s not too bad. The fact that it gives Greg a bit of outlet in his writing is a cool thing too. • I’m a bit disappointed about some of the MOCs in the BBC forum lately. I want to see some more creativity with part usage and design. Break out of what is considered the norm, and try some experimentation. Not to say that the MOCs are bad, but some are a tad cliché. I am really impressed though by improvements I’ve seen in a lot of you guys. Keep working hard. • Also, some of these MOCs need better reviews. Velox and the team, as well as others, are doing a great job, but they need more support. I can’t say too much about this, as I myself have not been doing my job and reviewing MOCs like I should. • I plan to MOC more this year. You can check out my latest MOC Chrome, and expect more MOCs of some BZP members coming soon. • School has been great so far. More AP this semester though. It’s going to be a boring bummer, but I’ll manage. I hope you guys had a good holiday. This update may have been a tad dry, but check back here for much more! -BD

    Project Fusion

Building something by Fusion is not an easy thing to do. Juding by that green and black MOC you never finished, I'm sure you will have no problem. I'm looking foward to seeing your final product. -BD

    Reflecting 2009

Same here on the MOC thing. But I have like 4 finished now. Two of them are my best ever IMO. I plan to post one on Sunday or Monday. All depends on how the weather is. But, yeah, you need to blog more. Always fun to here from a fellow MOCer and friend. -BD
  11. Oh yes, that was awsome. Packbot is only on flikr right? -BD
  12. Anything by me. lol jk. But seriously, Primus had some of the best MOCs of the year. As for the best MOCs on BZP for this year, I would have to say Darth Vader's Transtech Shockwave Bundaling's Packbot The Friction Cycle by 55555 The first two inspired me the most, and the last one was just awsome. -BD
  13. I have a personal liking to the crystal element, and I like your concept of color for them. The rainbow scheme is very intriguing, and it would look excellent over the ebon body. I once tried to pull off a MOC like this, but I failed in the attempt. It would be sweet if someone could pull it off though. I may give it another try In terms of powers, I had based my character’s powers off classic crystal powers like refracting light and beam-based weaponry. Of course the crystal powers could shatter if exposed to sufficiently strong sonic vibrations or if smashed against a tough object with immense power. I would have liked to see it instead of Psionics. The Shadowed One’s blade could unleash a crystal element. It would have been cool for them to bring back a power like that. -BD

    Fantastically

I think I like Walle more than Up. Up was good though too. Me too on the MOC thing. Is it because of that MOC from Primus? Oh, and I'm getting my blog back. Jus to give you a head's up. -BD

Thank you for the praise guys. Don't worry though, I'm starting a whole new take on MOCing come this January. It will be good....

    Avatar

Yeah, plot was like Disney's Pocahontas, but besided that, it was an excellent movie. One of my favorites of the year. Sigourney Weaver's avatar was so funny looking. lol -BD
  17. The 3D was hard to get into at first, but I finally did. It was sometimes hard to remember how big the Na'vi were, and the size was startling when you saw them with humans. I loved the film! -BD

  24. You may have already been here, but I've seen these on Amazon recently. I believe the va were cheap, but the rest of them that came out before 07 can sell for some pretty high prices. -BD
