I sold the dikapi I had rode from Le-Wahi and used the money to buy Cetis and I passage to Ko-Koro on a merchant's caravan. The tunnels were dark and the conversation brief.

"Really now? Very well, far be it for me to pry into someone's personal business for free, but I still wonder if you're entirely truthful when you say that. Granted, that might just be my profession talking for me"

 

"So, agree to disagree?" I asked as I raised my second glass at him.

"Eh, why the not," I say, raising my glass as well.

"Cheers" I mutted and clinked my glass with his. It sounded dull and uninspired, no surprise there.

"Where's your excitement mate?"

"It got used up over the last couple of days. Seeing two deaths, reunited lovers and someone turn away from evil all in one go does that to you"

"Sounds like something outta a bloody drama," I say.

"I suppose it was a bit of a drama, at least it's over now. Now I just need a good recharge"

"Tell me something I don't know" I replied with a sneer as I emptied the second glass.

"Have you ever decided to ditch work."

"Oh I couldn't do that, I'd never forgive myself if I happened upon something major and no longer had the incentive to poke around"

I nodded in affirmation as I emptied another drink.

 

"I'm going to need to lie down for a bit, another time perhaps" I said as I sauntered off to the door and walked off.

"See ya," I call, before returning to my drinks.

IC: Ferron (Ferron's Forge)

 

The Forgemaster wiped away a trail of sweat from his forehead as he put away the hammer, running his practiced hands over the panel with uncanny scrutiny, and he smiled in satisfaction as he levitated it to the side.

 

What diminuitive elemental power Ferron still had left was still helped by a long time of practice, so he managed.

 

The Turaga sighed contentedly as he turned to his assistant.

 

"Tuli, would you mind watching the forge for a while? I have to go outside for a bit"

OOC: Resuming control of Tuli and Khervos.

 

IC Tuli

(Onu-Koro, Ferron's forge):

 

"Will do, boss", Tuli said. Then, she added "Are you alright?"

Ferron would hear a knocking at the door of his forge, before a female voice could be heard from outside.

 

"Ah, hello? Is the bracelet done yet?"

[Geardirector]

IC: Ferron (Ferron's Forge)

 

"I appreciate the concern, Tuli. Really, I'll be fine" Ferron replied with a dismissive palm raised as he turned towards the door, but he was stopped by a knock, and opened the door to allow entrance rather than exit through it.

 

"Ah, Ashiem" Ferron said with a friendly nod.

 

"Yes, it's finished. Please, come in while I get it"

Ashiem nodded in gratitude, entering.

"This is my assistant, Tuli" Ferron presented the Ta-Matoran as he walked past her to some shelves in the back.

Ferron emerged from the back carrying a small case that he opened to reveal the silver bracelet that Ashiem had ordered from him. As instructed it was simple and straightforward in design, with the engravings she'd requested tracing a faint outline across it.

 

"Here you go," Ferron offered, "I hope this is what you had in mind"
