IC: Cyrax + JLBoth Toa looked at the matoran, who stared at them as if she was thinking of them as childish cool dudes.Cyrax: Yes, we are, thank you very much. And, we need to have a little talk or something....?JL: Yes, we do. We need to talk to the turaga. There are things.... happening that we would rather speak to the turaga about. Please, lead the way. Also, after this, I have some associates who also have information. Perhaps they are talking with someone of importance; they are, after all, after the same thing we are.

IC:Mevi glanced tellingly at Tarotrix, then waved for them all to follow."All right," she said. "I believe the Turaga will be able to see you soon enough. He might have visitors already, I dunno, but it can't be long. Come with me."They group walked towards the part of the fortress that housed Turaga Vakama's chamber. On the way, Mevi asked:"Out of curiosity: what is that you need from the Turaga?"

IC: Cyrax + JLBoth of them looked at Mevi. Then, Cyrax looked at JL, knowing he would have the better answer.JL: Things around the island are happening. Bad things have happened, and we're trying to find clues. It appears that there is a sort of network, and the chroniclers company is directly part of it....JL: Ask anymore and we'll have to kill you. But if the Turaga decides to tell you, that is fine by me. Its better to keep secrets secret.

OOC: Okay, I just have to LOVE how Tarex walked away without asking for details about the armor... Just the forge. This is gonna' be sooo interesting... IC: Riaril (both Fearless and I are playing this chick)The lightstones had been put away. The patients were sound asleep, including the two new "psychos" she had inherited from this morning. The matoran missing part of his arm seemed in decent condition, and was out like a log, snores echoing off the small cell the matoran lay inside. She clicked down the long hospital hallway, her stride slightly burdened by the days work, her knees stiff from constant stress."A bath." Riaril muttered continuously under her breath. The Guard's medic ward behind her, she ventured out into the Ta-koro night. Her destination? THAT piece of trivia was left on the tablet she hung on the main entrance:"If it's a life threatening emergency, I'm at the public baths."As she milled through the crowds -- Ta-koro was known as the city of the sleepless -- Riaril thought back upon the day's craziness. A po-matoran bumped into her as she turned a corner, falling flat on his backside in response."Careful where you tred, little one," Riaril said, though her demeanor displayed something more along the lines of: "Watch where you're going or I'll make sure you don't just ACT blind..."The Baths' were a massive structure closest to the volcano, the Mangai flows of lava generating the heat for the waters within the ancient structure's halls. Stripping down, she entered the women's bath to the greetings of steam, and emptiness."Haa," Riaril let out a sigh of mixed relief; "Alone again. This place doesn't have many Ga-koroans, does it?" She washed up, taking time to get rid of the blood-stains from the bite she had sustained from her new treasure. She completely forgot about using her mask to heal it any further than sealing the cut. Healing herself wasn't something Riaril was partial to doing. The hot, steamy, bath water felt like a blanket of Mata-Nui's light and love as she descended into the pool, her aches and pains slowly reducing as she soaked. As a toa of water, Riaril felt this regenerative effect more than all other elements, her body soaking a good two inches of the entire pools depth as she lay there, half submerged, blowing bubbles in the water. Letting her body relax, Riaril finally let her mind wander to the more "normal" aspects of social relationships: like Takimoc pissing her off during the afternoon."That mata-nui forsaken fire-spitter," Riaril grumbled between bubbles; "Can't her just stop? I mean, he's getting ridiculous..."Speaking of ridiculous... Maybe 2,000 widgets was too much to ask of Jaller? "Ah, whatever. Like I care what that heroic ex-kohlii player thinks of my hospital bills."

OOC: Sorry for quoting such a long post. Kughii just doesn't know when to stop. :PIC: (Tairel) Tairel paces a few feet away from the entrance to the female public baths. He felt stupid for being in this area of Ta-Wahi, but the tablet had said the doctor was here. So, he waited for her to get out. She must be really enjoying the nice soak. "I could really use a nice bath right now," he said out loud to himself. A few heads turned his way, then at the entrance to the female baths, then back at the Toa of Fire. Some shook their heads, some rolled their eyes, some did... other things. Either way, they weren't gestures of rainbows and flowers. The Toa of Fire didn't mind too much. He was desperate for a job as a doctor and saw that one of the only doctors in Ta-Koro was here. He thought that (maybe) she would be able to give him a job. If not, he would just have to keep looking. It was worth a shot, any way. Tairel continues to pace back and forth over the stone sidewalk, hand pulling and pushing his sword in and out of the sheath; a nervous habit he had acquired during his old bounty hunting days.

IC: ZyckelIt was a stone tablet, with 2,000 carved on it. He didn't see why it would be worth anything himself, seeing as anyone could carve a stone tablet."The medical ward? A female doctor? Hm. Never heard of her, the only medical ward I know of in Ta-Koro is the one of that fire Toa, what was his name... Virthen, or something like that."He looked at the tablet once more, before handing it back to them."I don't see any value in this myself, I'm sorry."

IC: ..."Well. This presents a problem." Tarex muttered."Uh... thanks for your time, I guess." he said, accepting the tablet before exiting the building, stalking off towards the medical ward, an irritated look in his eyes.Waste of time THAT was. Well, if she doesn't like the news, she'll have to deal with it, it's her own fault for nobody knowing about the hospital in the first place, anyway. he thought, already deciding that he was not going to take any dung from her about this.Mind set, he made his way back to the establishment.

IC Yghari - Ta-Koro - Wandering: Yghari walked through the Koro of fire, admiring the village; at the moment, he was unsure what he was going to do next, perhaps he would venture the village, waiting to stop criminals in their tracks. Honestly, he was getting tired of that, even thought it was the right thing, it seemed like he, and the Koro guards were the only forces stopping any evil that was out there. He knew that wasn't the case, but it did feel that way. OOC: Open for any interaction. -Yghari

Perhaps it was rush towards the goal, or perhaps it was just carelessness, but either way Riaril still ended up outside the doorway to the women's section wrapped in only a towel, her body dripping with the sulfuric water of the natural hot-spring. "What the KARZ is that sound," Riaril bellowed without shame, her entire "zone" had been trashed, and now she was ready to knock some blockheads back into pavement.--------The lights are out. A pretty obvious thought, Kriigata figured. Perhaps there was an explanation for the sudden loss of false sun? She attempted to rise, only to feel the tight bonds of the leg and arm straps pull against her limbs, the end result being nothing more than a muffle thud as her torso once again landed on the cot. Hope you can get it back.IC: (Tairel) Tairel continues to pace back and forth, each time getting closer and closer to the doorway; increasing the sound of his clacking boots. Where could she-His thoughts were interrupted by the banging of the door that led to the baths and the exclamation, "What the KARZ is that sound!"Tairel wheeled around to face the doctor, not noticing he had drawn his sword. The next few moments was nothing but silence as the doctor stares at the veteran fighter and the veteran fighter at the doctor. The only sound was the clacking of more boots from pedestrians behind the Toa of Fire and the sound of water dripping off of Riaril's now wet towel. Tairel hadn't seen a female in a while now, let alone one in a towel. "I-uh-I'm sorry," was all Tairel could manage, sword still in hand. "I-I was j-just waiting for a certain doctor. I'm sorry if I am bothering you." Tairel was still staring at the doctor before he quickly looks down at the stone walkway; almost slicing his head in two by the sword. "Oh, I'm sorry," he says as he sheaths the sword.

IC: By now, however, Riaril had realized what had just happened as well. She didn't say anything, but her facial expression spoke enough to cover her mood and then some: Tairel would have karz to pay if he ever spoke of the event once. Perhaps even sooner, if she hadn't calmed down by the time she got her sai.Turning, she stomped back into the hot springs to get her lab coat and armor back on. The Ga-Toa cursed under her breath even as she put back on her sai. She now realized that the guy had apparently been looking for her-why, what other doctor was there in the springs? Much as she hated to admit it, she'd have to talk to him.Storming out again, lab coat flapping like the white wings of an avenging angel, Riaril walked to Tairel and stood before him. "I believe I am that doctor," she said curtly, hands crossed over her stomach in an accidentally...Appealing...Stance to the Toa of Fire even while the rest of her remained clipped and professionally composed.

IC: Having dropped the tablet off at the medical ward, the Toa of Crystals had returned to wandering Ta-Koro, now standing in front of a building, reading the sign on top."Hot springs? Guess I could use a little relaxation..." he mused, entering the building and unslinging his large pack with a single deft movement."Mata Nui knows it'd be good for me, he said, setting the pack down and absentmindedly rolling his neck, tendons popping as they loosened up."Yeah, a nice soak'd probably...be..." he began, trailing off as he laid eyes on the most recent source of his annoyances.Well, great, looks like I'm getting an earful either way... he mentally muttered, not even noticing her rather unintentionally alluring stance and looks.No, that wasn't what conerned him at all. He was more worried about protecting his eardrums from her inevitable wrath.OOC: lol Chaste Hero

IC: (Tairel) Tairel watched as the doctor walked back into the bath area. Nice going. Don't you remember what it's like to talk to a female?Before Tairel could continue his pacing, the doctor was back, now dressed in armor and a lab coat. "I believe I am that doctor," was all Riaril said, hands crossed over his abdominal area. Tairel's school child, foolish look was replaced with a grin. A small grin, but a grin. "Oh. Well, it's a pleasure to meet you," replied the Toa of Fire. He quickly turned his grin into his normal, calm expression. "I had a question to ask, but it can wait if you're, um, busy."

IC: "Most unfortunately," replied the Ga-Toa, lying through the professional facade, "It appears that I am." She had just caught sight of Tarex. Now Riaril stalked forth, glad to be free of the Ta-Toa. "Did you get it?," she said plaintively and in a clipped tone. She now stood before the toa who, by the looks of it, was about to enter the hot springs for a bath of his own.

IC: "No." he said simply, looking her straight in the eyes."Apparently the tablet is worthless, and 'the one guy to spend money on' or whatever has never heard of your establishment. Might wanna look into that." he said, edge of his own annoyance at the situation slipping into his voice.

IC: Riaril opened her mouth to speak, but no words parted her lips.What-What in KARZ-It was a struggle, but the young Ga-Toa finally regained her composure and swallowed what she had been just about to say. She decided to just set something straight before going home. The day was just worsening as it went on, even with the bath."So," she said, looking Tarex straight in the eye, "here's my guess: This son of a piraka knows about Virthee, the new kid who set up a MINOR clinic, and yet somehow doesn't know of the Mata Nui-forsaken HOSPITAL OF THE TA-KORO FORTRESS. Am I right?," she asked deliberately, struggling to keep herself under control.OOC: You have to admit, TDC, that it's a bit unrealistic for Zyckel to know of Virthee's clinic and somehow not know anything about the Ta-Koro hospital within the fortress. The latter is not just more renowned, it's been around longer, and is essentially where the freakin' GUARD go to get healed.-The Fearless Leader

IC: Tarex was an observant fellow, and he saw how much his report had gotten under her skin. Sounded like she got this news a lot.He sighed, most of his annoyance melting away, replaced by empathy."Yeah, you hit the nail right on the head. How does that even happen, anyway?" he asked, scratching his head.He really felt bad about this now. She'd probably come to the hotsprings for the same reason as him, so bringing this revelation was probably not helping.Guess I'll make it up to her."You okay?" he asked, laying a hand on her shoulder. "You seem pretty tense." he said, swiftly turning her so that she was now facing away, and beginning to massage her shoulders with ease and deftness, hopefully helping her temper relax along with her muscles."Karz, you are pretty stiff," he said with a mild note of suprise. "Guess you don't get much time to work it out though, do you?" he asked, remembering her strenuous job.OOC: Oh boy mangs is gone now Kughz'll play Ria and that means Tarex is gonna get backhanded or something even though he's perfectly innocentpoor guyat least Mangs made it seem like he'd have a chance to not get slapstick'd lol

IC: (Tairel) Tairel (finally broken out of his trance) reaches for a Po-Koro cigarette as he watches the doctor storm off to the new arrivals. As he lights the cigarette with his fingers, he tries to listen to what Riaril was saying. He couldn't make out most of it, but the cursing he could hear fine. The Toa of Fire steps out of the way of a few female Toa walking into the baths, giggling as Tairel winks at them. Yep. I think I still have it. If only the doctor-lady would know it. She seems like a nice enough girl.Tairel's thoughts were interupted by more yelling from the Ga-Toa. Maybe not.

OOC: Virthee has been working as a doctor since he first arrived in the village. And he was in the first group, the ones that arrived with the Turaga. So technically, it is most likely older than yours is. Just pointing out that he is no 'new kid', and isn't running a 'minor clinic'. Also, he was the doctor recommended by Jaller, the CAPTAIN of the GUARD. Just thought I'd point all that out. So it seems to me that Virthee's hospital may actually be the place the guards go for medicine, seeing as Jaller was recommending it to someone. It really wouldn't be unlikely for it to be quite well known.IC: VirtheeHe sat in the back of his hospital, thinking quietly to himself."Miha, be careful. Don't get yourself hurt out there."He sighed, sorting out bottles of medicine to put onto his shelves.

Riaril's entire attention was shifted. Something familiar was wafting from the toa of fire she had just bounced, something like PO-KORO CIGARETTES! Without moving, Riaril spoke plainly:"You wanted to see me about something? My name is Riaril. Give me one of those and I'll be 'less busy' than I just was."Her mind was gone, lost in the frenzied odor of stuffed, rolled leaves, slowly burning. She could already taste the peppered, aromatic flavor of the small piece of poison between Tairil's fingers. However, how could she hold tact amidst the contingent of three males, all standing outside a bathhouse?Only a toa such as Riaril could pull such a feat of gymnastic mental professionalism.

OOC: Yeah, Raz, typing on a PSP is pretty hard to do.IC: (Tairel) "You wanted to see me about something? My name is Riaril. Give me one of those and I'll be 'less busy' than I just was." What? Is she talking to me? "Hmm? Oh, oh yes. Here you are," he says as he hands a cigarette to the Ga-Toa. Once her shaky hands take the cigarette, Tairel puts his pointer finger to the end and lighs it for her. "Now, about what I came here for, it was-" Tairel looks at their surroundings. To his left was the female entrance to the baths, and all around him were Matoran pedestrians that were a little too nosy when it came to private conversations. "Um, do you know of anywhere more...private we could discuss this?" Tairel didn't exactly enjoy discussing business in a public area, let alone having to stand right in front of the baths while doing so.

IC: Cyrax+JLJL stared at the fortress which loomed in front of them. It had been a short time since they had talked, but he nodded at Mevi. Cyrax just looked over the edge of the bridge.Cyrax: Please, lead the way.

IC: Dreenan"Yeah... I'm not allowed in the huts of any Turaga anymore."She grinned slightly, chuckling to herself."They don't like me all that much."

IC: Riaril sighed. Aaaah...Yeah. When was the last time she had one of those?Dragging long and hard, she finally took the smoke from her lips and looked at Tairel. "You're lucky you have these, or else we wouldn't discuss this today at all," she said curtly, but without as much thinly veiled hostility as before.Then she turned back to Tarex. "Listen. There's undoubtedly some other place for armor...I hear the Po-Koro bazaar probably has some," she continued. "Go over there, get the armor with the money in this account," she handed him the name of the Ta-Koronian Guards' account in the Ta-Koro bank-after all, they had picked up the patient for her, " and get back. If it takes you a day or if it takes you an hour, I don't care. But you and/or your buddy are going to get that stuff ASAP," reminded the Ga-Toa firmly. "If the patient goes without armor long enough, then she'll probably die from a sickness or from previous lack of exposure to the elements."Finally, Riaril turned back to Tairel, taking another drag on her smoke before speaking. "I'm going back to the hospital anyway, so you can tell me whatever there," she said casually.Knife pouted. The setup hadn't worked...Oh, well-she could always get more prey. Speaking of which...As the sisters neared the village, they saw two toa about to head into the fortress. Both Knife and Edge grinned, hopping behind a charred tree before the duo could see them to prepare for when the toa, inevitably, left the village.It had been a long time since they had to fight two at once...Oh, and how very fun it would be to do so!

IC: (Tairel) Tairel listened to the Ga-Toa address the two beings with her. She was very orderly, precise, and to the point. Tairel liked that. He'd much rather get to the end of things then dragging them out like a Matoran stalling for time in a classroom. "I'm going back to the hospital anyway, so you can tell me whatever there," said the Ga-Toa. "Sure," said Tairel. "Would you like for me to just meet you there or would you rather me go ahead with you?"

IC: He accepted the card, giving a glance into the men's side of the hot springs with a hint of longing.He shrugged, accepting his fate. Guess I'll have to remember to come later, then. he figured. Personal pleasure was at the very bottom of the food chain, especially in a potentially Life-or Death situation like this...Wait a minute, idea."Say, you think that this would be a little more persuasive with the first guy?" he asked, turning to her once more."You know, since this is an actual, verified bank account..."

IC: "Come with me," Riaril said, after a second to think without cigarette in mouth. "I'm not needed to operate there right now, but I could be later." She dragged again, smoke filling the air. "Thanks for the cigarette, by the way," she added to Tairel. He may have seen her in nothing but a towel, but she never forgot her manners.Then Riaril turned to Tarex. "Sure. Where it comes from doesn't matter," the Ga-Toa stated almost casually, pocketing the cigarette for now. If she kept on smoking it, anyways, she'd eventually get caught and fined. And while she loved a good smoke, Riaril was a rational woman.

IC: (Tairel) "No problem," said the Toa of Fire, not forgetting his manners. Yes, the day was looking to be a good one. Even though the doctor almost hurt him for interruptting her peace and quiet, he had still made friends with her and came out without a scratch. The Toa of Fire steps back to let the Ga-Toa lead the way to their destination. He throws his cigarette into the air and sends a burst of flame toward it. The cigarette immediatly burns up completely. All was left was a few ashes and the soothing, yet over powering, smell of a Po-Koro cigarette.

If he wants me personally, then so be it, it will just give me an opportunity to poke him with my halberd where the sun doesn't shine."Mevi waved her hand for them to stop as they reached Turaga Vakama's chamber."Turaga." she said. "A pair of Toa is here to see you."
