IC: Dorian (The Final Problem, Xa-Koro)"Putting the pieces together as quickly as always," he said, eyebrows raised, as he set down his own empty glass, too disgusted to order a third glass of the Salamander's Fermented Urine. "i'm here for various reasons, most of which the others aren't privy to and a couple of which are purely for fun."His smirk tightened a bit and he turned to look at her."And it looks like I just got another reason."-Teezy

OOC: Well I guess I'll go ahead and continue with Frieza. IC: Frieza - Second story of building, Xa-koro -The Skakdi scrambled to avoid Frieza's scythe, and just barely dodged it. "Oh, so you have some fight left in you?" Frieza stood up talk and then gestured with his hand for the Skakdi to come at him. The Skakdi, in all his intelligence, took the bait and charged, yelling angrily as he did, he raised his hammer and swung it wildly at Frieza. Frieza just kept dodging the blows. Frieza watched as the Skakdi began to tire as he kept up his attack. Then Frieza struck, he dodged another blow from the Skakdi's hammer, and then swung his scythe. The Skakdi was suddenly missing an arm."Well, that was mildly entertaining...but I feel like I've done this before..." With that being said, Frieza suddenly made himself burst into flames and charged through the mob, not wanting to get burnt, the moderator moved out of the way, Frieza then quickly jumped through the window, but he sent a few bursts of fire on his way out, catching the place on fire, that would buy him even more time, as he was sure the mob wouldn't want it to burn down, they'd be too busy putting the fire out to chase him. As Frieza fell from the second story, he created jets of flame from his hands to slow his fall. When he landed, he began to make his way further into the koro.

IC - Kinika - The Final ProblemUnbeknownst to Naara, the mentioned brother was not far away. He drank away, losing money even as the entirely depressed slave, Shalia, dealt more cards. And indeed, he did know quite the clue to locating young Hau's mentor...

IC: Dorian (The Final Problem, Xa-Koro)Not missing a beat, Dorian created an iron chair underneath Naara that prevented her from tumbling; he himself merely straightened out his legs, standing up and not even descending an inch."You could hurt someone doing that."-Teezy

OOC: I find it terrible that Nikarra is being mocked for her only ever moment of weakness. :( (and how did Naara find out about that, anyway?)IC: NikarraNikarra watched as the small Matoran bartender ran off and mixed what looked like five different drinks together before putting some of it into a glass and handing it to Dorian."I noticed it was raised in your conversation earlier, so I myself would like to ask what you're doing here. Because your friend there doesn't seem much like a musician, and I'm beginning to have doubts about you too."

OOC: Just so you know, Nikarra had a conversation similar to the one on page 69 with another character, so this isn't quite as random as it seems.IC: NikarraNikarra grabbed a chair and pulled it over. "I think that you're a killer."

IC: Nikarra"Don't be. Coming from me, that's a compliment." Nikarra explained. She asked the bartender for a drink, which she drank a little of before grimacing and pouring the rest of it on to the floor. "With enough money to fill a vault I thought my bloody cousin would be able to afford proper drinks."

IC: Dorian (The Final Problem, Xa-Koro)"Fine. Do you want the truth?"He beckoned for her to lean in so they couldn't be easily overheard, and Dorian began to speak in a low mutter, flourishing a small red badge from his jacket pocket: it was the same one he had used to gain entry into Hiemalis' jail cell, and now it was time to put it to use once again. The master improvisational actor was at work."My partner and I are Ta-Koro Guard, investigating possible tainted batches of Salamander's Revenge that have already caused three deaths in the Le-Wahi region. Apparently," he said, plucking two bottles from the bar and showing her the rudimentary labels, "they all had one thing in common: they were all produced in the Ta-Wahi brewery owned by Salamander's. We've sent guards out to every Wahi looking for people who may have tainted beverages and people who may be responsible for helping distribute them, and we have reason to believe the owner here - Shake and Bake, or whatever his name is - is one of the local dispensers here. That's why we're so hush hush, and that's why we need you to exercise the same level of secrecy."The story fit. If Nikarra went over and checked Grokk, he would find the late Kinvex's badge pressed into a pocket of his money; he had placed it there when he gave Grokk his half of Dorian's fortune in case something like this came along. Good thing he had, too. This whole op could have been blown otherwise.-Teezy

IC: Dorian (The Final Problem, Xa-Koro)Dorian could see she still had a sliver of doubt, so he decided to play his final card."I mean, really. Like you said. A vault full of money and he can't afford legit Salamander's? That's sketchy, and you know it."-Teezy

IC: Nikarra"Yes, but I know where the vault is. And any time I've been here, I have never seen anyone apart from Reichenbach himself go anywhere near it." Nikarra explained. Something still isn't right... I know there's something I should be seeing here... what am I missing?

IC: Dorian (The Final Problem, Xa-Koro)"So it has to be him making the payments to the people supplying the bad Salamander's..." he mused. "Can you follow him? Learn his movements, try and monitor what he does with his money, and the like? Between Turaga Vakama's disappearance, the death of Takua, and the destruction of our hospital, my village is in an extremely desperate state, and she is willing to compensate you quite well for your efforts."-Teezy

IC: Dorian (The Final Problem, Xa-Koro)"You weren't watching the bartender? I mean, not that I blame you or anything, he sucks at his job, but he mixed together five different drinks to make one shot. Any tainted Salamander's has been diluted to the point where the other alcohol would absolutely tank anything inside the drink itself that could do me harm."He bit his lip and seemed to think about those words for a second."Well...on second thought, my hangover will probably be a bit worse than normal in the morning, but otherwise, no serious harm. At least, as non-serious as a hangover can get," he added with a grin. "Come to think of it...that's probably enough."Any man who would only drink two and a half shots was either as unmanly as can be (which Nikarra had already seen was not the case) or telling the truth. No one would sacrifice masculinity for the sake of a simple cover story. It was an unwritten rule ingrained into the DNA of all men.-Teezy

IC: Nikarra"Before that. Not that I was watching you or anything, but I think I counted two." Nikarra, due to not really having much contact with people who weren't either psychopaths or sociopaths, or about to be killed by her.

OOC: Wait...what? She was fighting with Fragarach, I highly doubt that she would've been watching Dorian's drink count.IC: Dorian (The Final Problem, Xa-Koro)"Wait...what? Seriously?"Dorian turned and stared at the bartender, and, as he did so, his eyes glowed a slight blue with his Mark; though the bartender made no real reaction, Dorian could tell that he'd made an impression. He could feel it."Did you mix anything in the Salamander's or did you give me straight?" he asked in alarm, and the bartender shook his head frantically."It was a Juturna with a bit of extra Salamander's in there for flavor," the bartender explained. "The lady here got straight Salamander's."-Teezy

OOC: In case you didn't notice, she's sort of obsessed with him.And wouldn't one glass or two bottles still have been there anyway?IC: Nikarra"Uh-huh..." Nikarra was still suspicious of Dorian, for whatever reason. She couldn't quite put her finger on it, though...She got the feeling that this was someone that she couldn't trust. And yet she found herself trusting him.Maybe that was it. Maybe she was so suspicious of him because of the fact that she had some kind of feelings for him. She decided it was best to trust him for now, but to keep an eye on him. "Your story seems to be legit, even if you aren't. I'll trust you. For now."

OOC: You know there's such a thing as 'the grapevine', right? Naara can eavesdrop on it pretty well. I'd assume 'Saosin' to comprise a good bit of the female talk of the Final Problem at this point, stalkers of his self included.Speaking of which...She's going to make more than a few inferences from that conversation and Nikarra V. Darylhii before it.IC: Naara had been trying various shots of her own for the past few minutes. The conversation she was engaged in had been interrupted, causing her to find just how vested in it she had been. So the toa had just been listening to Dorian and Nikarra argue back and forth while sipping idly and watching the casino's activity. Now, though, she stood and put down her glass. It was getting late. And while certain parts of the evening had been rather...Enjoyable, they hadn't been what she was looking for."Excuse me, Ms. Stalker," Naara deadpanned in an interruption of the conversation. "I'm afraid I must oblige common courtesy. It was a pleasure speaking to you, Mr. Saosin; farewell."The toa turned. In seconds, she was striding forth from the casino's bar.

IC: Dorian (The Final Problem, Xa-Koro)Naara. Don't go.He stood up and took three steps to try and follow her before stopping in his tracks and sighing through gritted teeth. Slowly, his Mark began to glow in a simmering anger, but the euphoria did nothing to ease the rage he felt at how Nikarra had driven Naara away, fueling his anger as he watched the Toa of Water slip away into the crowd, slithering away like the water she had become so accustomed to using. Dorian followed suit, walking past the tables and grabbing his bag from his chair as he made his way down the hallway and to a private, winding staircase that led to his villa. Once inside, he locked the door, lit several lamps, and plopped down horizontally onto the king size bed, letting muffled scream into the soft fabric.Oh, God, no. Please, noooo. He had a crush.-Teezy
