IC: Naara walked into her own room without a word, automatically keying its lock to open. She stepped inside and undressed in its shadowy silence to some external armor over her chest and groin. The toa fell back its bed at long last. She stared up at her ceiling. Well. This changes things.

IC: Reichenbach & XylakReichenbach stood outside, and noticed Xylak's return. "Why have you come back?""I felt like visiting my brother and cousin. Have a nice weekend, with bad company and drinks." Xylak smiled. However much he hated riddles, he enjoyed bragging in his own way about how he knew more than Reichenbach. "So, Kite or Stack, lead me to my room. I'm expecting that it will be free.""Normal charge.""But I'm family.""Good point." Reichenbach put his hand against his chin. "Double the normal charge.""Meh, that clingy person in reception always lets me stay for free anyway."

OOC: You know, Tyler, Nuju, that was the most evil stuff I've read in a while back there...good to know where the boundaries are, I think it is quite save to unleash the beast now. ;)IC:Agni helped as many people as he could to get out of the pens, while keeping the guards off of them. It was harder said then done, he had to use his Kualsi quite a bit, jumping from place to place, all while mainting his focus to keep his bearings. There was no time to see how many were getting out...or how many didn't. And he did not see Kuyre among the chaos. One moment, he was helping an elderly Matoran, the next instant, he appeared next to a crossbowman loading another bolt, choppping him in the throat, knocking him out. From the guard's post, he saw Mef commanding the ground to rise, blocking Telric's mercenaries from stopping the Toa of earth. But there were still prisoners that needed to get out.He teleported down next to Valria. He looked at her for a heartbeat, then at the blocked gate. "Mef, get ready to drop that wall! Everybody else, get behind me! When you see an opening, run!" he ordered. He turned to face their adversaries again. Out of the corner of his eye, he caught Valria's look, an undisguised expression saying what are you doing? He winked at her. "Trust me."The Toa of fire raised his arms, his hands suddenly engulfed in fire. The next instant he threw them forward and immediately a column of fire, fifteen feet high, erupted from the ground. Then, as if opening a curtain, Agni pulled his hands apart, the column doing the same, spreading to the sides until it formed a wide burning half-circle, burning red, hot and obscuring the fleeing slaves and retreating Toa from view.

IC: Xylak & NikarraXylak walked in, and sat beside Nikarra. "I can't help but wonder what's wrong with you.""What?" Nikarra looked up at Xylak."You were staring at that chair with actual emotion. It came as a shock to me to see you gaining emotional attachments.""Who said anything about emotional attachments?!""Ah, getting defensive now, are we? In any case, you seem glad to see me.""I wanted to ask you something. I know you like to stay up-to-date with everything happening on the island." Nikarra whispered."Indeed I do." Xylak had also lowered the volume of his voice."You ever heard of someone called Saosin?""Never." Xylak said, taking a sip of a drink he had taken from a passing waitress before spitting it out. "God, that stuff is disgusting!""You're sure?" Nikarra asked."If I lied, this crystal here would be purple. But it's not, is it?" Xylak gestured st the staff he held in his hand. "It's grey. Which suggests that I am completely bored, but not lying." The waitress was now staring at Xylak. "Could you leave us alone?"The waitress nodded and moved on."So, why d'you ask?" Xylak looked back at Nikarra, and there was an awkward silence. "That was his seat, wasn't it?""Maybe.""You have a crush. You. Have. A crush. I did not see that one coming.""I messed up completely in front of him. I giggled. A lot. And there's this other girl...""It's alright, I know what crushes are like.""You're asexual.""That's beside the point. The point being that you need to talk to someone and Prickly Crack isn't gonna be much use." Xylak sighed. "If you really want my advice, I think you should kill her. It's the one area where you excel."

IC: (Valria)Agni's display of power provided the necessary distraction, along with the other Toa of Fire struck a fear they had never felt before. Like the flames of Karz had come to claim them. The whole fortress seemed to be on fire, and it would definitely distract Telric's guards from pursuing them...hopefully. Valria was in awe, but she quickly shook out of it as she continued her escape from the fortress, guiding the slaves along. Trying to help them as much as she could. When she was sure they were in the clear. She yelled."Stop!" Valria too another minute to catch her breath. "Just wait her for a bit, my friends and I, we'll get you somewhere much safer."The slaves wandered aimlessly until her voice hand rung out, now they stood closer, which Valria was very glad for, she wanted to save as much as them as she could. And Mef's display of power surprised, especially considering that he was carrying Telric the entire time. All she could do was make people float...it was too much to do any other thing, and even then, she didn't have that much power left. Mef and Agni would be here any minute.

IC(Mef)

Mef nods his head at Agni as he stops three yards ahead of them; making sure to watch out for the wall of fire. The Toa of Earth walks toward what would be their exit once they reached the open gate or where ever Agni wanted them to go to. There was no telling with the Toa of Fire.Quickly, the Toa dodges as many attacks as he could from the attackers, but the weight of the Toa on his shoulder was almost too much to bare. But, he had to be strong, especially now."If you two are quite ready..." he jokes as the stunned guards stop their attack.-Mef Man

IC: (Valria)Valria noticed that Mef was still quite busy with Telric on his shoulders so she ran a little back towards him, once again aiming her crossbow, using her right forearm to steady her shot and clipping of the guards around Mef, in the heel. She spun her crossbow again with her power, just a few more bursts and she would be dry as far energy. She could feel herself getting close to that edge. She fired one more shot, feeling the recoil from the crossbow as the bolt flung through the air and embedded itself into another guards heel, it should give Mef the break to join her and the escaped slaves. Hopefully Agni wouldn't be too far behind them and Kuyre was well somewhere, she remembered seeing him at the slave pens. Hopefully he'd be along as well."Come on Mef! Come Agni" She shouted, hoping her friends would quickly escape with her. As she motioned for both of them him even though she knew that the weight of Telric was making Mef struggle and Agni was controlling the flames he had just unleashed.

IC: Dorian (The Final Problem, Xa-Koro)"This room is soaked," called out a voice from the darkest corner of Naara's room. The Toa of Water jerked her head up at the sound of the soft drawl: surely, no one had been in here just minutes before..."Service tunnels," he explained, almost as if he had read her thoughts. Next thing she knew, a dark silhouette - one she knew well - was smirking softly, the even white teeth glistening in the dark room, and taking a step forward. "The villas are at the lowest levels to ensure utmost privacy for the guests. Finding the routes that the casino staff take for room service was a simple enough measure, and from there..."-Teezy

IC: Naara sat up without a word. She crossed her legs and folded her arms, smirking a little. The fact that Dorian was stalking her did register in her brain as distinctly 'off'. Bu that came second. Here was the one who had 'changed things'; she would speak with him as though he had not just done what had once caused her to kill."Intriguing. Have you come to continue conversation, or to test your skill?"

IC: Dorian (The Final Problem, Xa-Koro)"Considering the fact that you're the only person who's ever beaten me in a fight - and when I say beaten I mean inverted my rear end and used me as a snow shovel - I'm not in any mood to get into a fight. I came to finish the convo we had going before we were interrupted."-Teezy

IC: Naara smirked again. His wit was sharp as ever.Perhaps I should've made it less open to interpretation. But I have one more piece of the puzzle that is Dorian nonetheless, She thought. He wouldn't lie about combat records-he doesn't fail to impress."I see. We were talking about reasons to stay in the Final Problem, correct?"

IC: Xylak & Reichenbach"Well, goodbye, Nikarra. It was... interesting, seeing you. I'm going to leave now and save what little respect I have left for you." Xylak explained, brushing some non-existent dust off himself and walking over to Reichenbach again. "So, how's your vault doing?""Fine.""Thankyou." Xylak walked off. As soon as he had mentioned the vault, Reichenbach had glanced away. He followed the glance, and found a long corridor. There was a door there, which he walked into, before walking down a metal staircase. There was a wall at the end. "Oh, clever, clever." He hit the wall with some sound, revealing that a few bricks in it shifted slightly. "What order, I wonder? Oh well. It's safe. For now."He walked back out, only to find his brother standing at the top of the staircase. "Ah, Game & Watch. What're you doing here?""I could ask you the same." Reichenbach responded, cringing slightly at being called 'Game & Watch'. Xylak wasn't even trying to say things that sounded like his name anymore."Just... exploring." Xylak tapped his staff on the ground, the crystal of which was now lavender - a half-lie."Well, don't." Reichenbach hadn't bothered looking at the staff. "Next time I find you 'exploring' I'm going to make sure you never explore anything again.""Ooh, threatening." Xylak pushed Reichenbach out of the way and walked past him.

IC: Dorian (The Final Problem, Xa-Koro)Dorian sat down towards the edges of the darkened corner, almost entirely out of sight; all that Naara could see was one half of his mouth, curled up in that irritatingly gorgeous, tight smirk and straddled by the shadows of the dimly lit room. His legs were stretched out to the wall and crossed at the angel, and his arms were stretched forward and brushing his knees. He leaned calmly against the dresser and shrugged."It's your turn to give a reason."-Teezy

IC:Agni kept the wall of fire up as long as his friends were still within the perimeter of the compound's walls. The guards on the other side were in chaos, his display of power shattering most what little discipline these mercenaries had. Some were trying to control the damage they had caused, hurrying to bring in water to stop the fires, others were trying to find ways around his barrier and some were continuing to fight, firing blind shots through the curtain of flames, most of which missed or were dodged. As he watched, another of the smaller buildings caught on fire, the roof suddenly ablaze with flame. Agni ducked under a crossbow-bolt that nearly hit him and glanced over his shoulder. Mef and Valria were hurrying out of the gate, behind the freed prisoners. It was time to end the fireworks with a grand finale. The Toa's eyes narrowed as he turned back to the wall. As he raised his arms, he summoned as much of his power as he could afford to without being completely drained aftward. Standing still as he did, more guards tried to take blind shots at him, but before they could zero in, Agni felt he was ready. He knew the feeling well; a tingling, starting in his core, electrifying him, running up his spine, down his arms right to the tips of his fingers. The fire was no longer just something he could control, it was a part of him now, burning within his body, waiting to be released. With a yell, he threw his arms forward, palms stretched out. And then, following his command, the wall of fire raced outward. Like waves crashing over rocks, the blaze washed over the courtyard of Telric's villa, consuming the grass on the ground and shattering the windows of the mansion. The mercenaries shouted and screamed, struggling and tripping over each other as they fled to find shelter. Once the flames had dispersed, Agni watched over the result of his action with an unusual cold look in his eyes. The trees and plants within the garden were burning, as were the guardhouse and storage. He could hear some of the guards whimpering that had been caught in the blast. He ignored them. They would live. Calm like the eye of a storm amidst the small inferno, Agni turned and walked out of the burning gate, one of its wings collapsing as he passed through, his orange backlit silhouette disappearing in the forest outside.A few minutes later, the Toa of fire caught up with Valria and Mef.OOC: A little over the top perhaps, but that scene was just too cool to not write it ^^

IC(Mef)

"Bravo," Mef says simply as he watches Agni's handiwork. "All I could've done was drown them in dirt..." he mumbles, a grin still on his face. Turning toward Valria, he places a hand on her face observing the slash on her cheek."You okay?" he asks. He guessed she was in worse shape then him even though he was hauling a fat Toa. Or, it felt as if he were a few thousand pounds too heavy...OOC: And, I know he's not really over weight.-Mef Man

IC: "'Farther beyond salvation'...?"-The demigod walked from the town alone. And Naara didn't look back-Naara blinked. She was thrust back into her present situation by her own mind, ready to comment on the phrase. But the Ga-Toa had completely forgotten what her next sentence was to be."...Interesting," She said faintly. "I suppose I came here to start anew a life wasting."

IC: Dorian (The Final Problem, Xa-Koro)Dorian noticed Naara's brief conflict, but said nothing, instead merely staring ahead and letting her compose herself."Yours is a life that doesn't deserve to be wasted," he said softly. IC: (Mef)"Mef you can set him down now, we're in the clear." She smiled. The slaves had hung close to the group and Valria was glad for that. Her eyes drifted to Riwha, she wondered if she should talk to the Toa of Magnetism, if she would even remember her. She gently pushed Mef's hand away. "I'm fine Mef, I think...I took a few direct hits before you got her...but I'm still standing right. Agni, are you alright?"OOC: I hope Mef does what I think he will do. Man I could be just a monster right now...but I'll do that with another character, she catches the break. I really need to just post, instead of letting other things really distract me.

IC(Mef)

Mef's lips push tight against each other as he pushes the Toa off of his arms; enjoying the loud crashing noise that came from the being's body when he hit the ground."Of course. Your majesty," he adds in a small mumble before walking over toward a nearby tree and sitting down. Mef takes out his crossbow and loads in another arrow before inspecting his equipment.-Mef Man

IC: Naara let out a long sigh. Unlike her others, though, this one carried less disdain and more...Weariness.She unfolded her legs and uncrossed her arms. In that motion, Naara fell back onto her bed. She stared up into shadow."For all my reasons to stay, then, I guess I won't," She admitted. "But what next for you-what next for Dorian? "Saosin may like the gilded prison," She said with a shrug. "But you're wasting away inside it. And you said you won't stay long."

IC: Dorian (The Final Problem, Xa-Koro)"What next for Dorian..."For once, Dorian's smirk seemed to quiver and curl up, like a child in the cold, shivering and alone with no jacket to protect him from the winter chill. The shadows around his face seemed to darken and dance, and he turned away, hiding what part of his dark, beautifully sculpted features Naara could see."I don't know. I drift. I'm alone, forever, no matter who I work with or how long I work with them. I can't picture myself in one place for very long because...well, nowhere in the world has a place for me. No one can have me. No one can want me."-Teezy

IC: Dorian (The Final Problem, Xa-Koro)Dorian instinctively clenched, almost in fear, as if he were a child whose father had raised a hand to him after a particularly bad screwup, before finally softening and letting Naara pull him into her shoulder."I don't think you quite understand the gravity of that desire, love," he breathed, trying to keep some pretense of his dark, sharp wit about him without admitting that at the moment, Naara's words were the exact things he wanted - needed - to hear.-Teezy
