I'd like to mint the amount of widgets that would get me a Scary Rahi. And then buy a Scary Rahi.

The Scary Rahi will be a Burnak.

Updating the first post momentarily.

Proposal 63, to create a new mutable rule. I think this rule is thematic.

Section 1: Matoran Council

On the first of every month, players may begin nominating themselves or other players as Council Members of the Matoran Council. In addition, players may second nominations that other players have made. After twenty-four hours have passed since the first player was nominated, the three players whose nominations received the most seconds become the three Council Members of the Motoran Council. Ties are randomly decided by a host.

The duty of the Matoran Council is to promote order by regulating the actions of the players by creating laws. Laws are similar to rules, but unlike rules, they cannot implement or modify elements of the game, such as by, for example, creating a new type of Scary Rahi for players to purchase. Rather, laws can only order players to take or not take actions within the game. Additionally, unlike rules, which players are bound to obey according to Rule 8, players do not have to obey laws. However, each law specifies a minimum and maximum penalty for not obeying it, and if a judge finds a player guilty of breaking a law, then the judge must choose a penalty within the range specified by the law and that penalty is immediately enforced under the authority of this rule. The only penalties that may be specified in laws are fines of widgets or elimination from the game.

Whenever a Council Member wishes to propose a law, he must post it in the topic, using quote tags to mark the law itself, and as soon as another Council Member posts seconding the law, the law has passed. Laws may be amended or repealed in the same manner. Laws are numbered just like rules are. The first law will be Law 1. Here is a sample post proposing a law:

I propose a new law, Law 1.

On Thursdays, no player may message the host in order to kill or steal from another player. The penalty for breaking this law is a fine between 5 and 50 widgets or elimination from the game.

Section 2: Chief Turaga

On the first of every month, players may begin nominating themselves or others to be the Chief Turaga. In addition, players may second nominations that other players have made. After twenty-four hours have passed since the first player was nominated, the player whose nomination received the most seconds becomes the Chief Turaga. Ties are randomly decided by a host.

The duty of the Chief Turaga is to lead the development of the game into a fun and competitive form and promote order by ensuring the laws and judges are fair. As soon as the Chief Turaga has been chosen, he should choose two other players to be the judges. Additionally, every time a law has been passed by the Matoran Council, the Chief Turaga may remove the law within twenty-four hours of its passage if he would like to do so.

Section 3: Judges

The two judges chosen by the Chief Turaga decide whether a player is guilty of breaking a law or not, and choose which of the penalties specified in the law that was broken should be applied. Whenever a player thinks another player has broken a law, he may say so in the topic. Then the host must randomly decide which of the two judges will decide whether the player has broken the law. Then that judge must make the decision and, if the player did break the law, announce which of the available penalties that player will receive. As soon as the penalty has been announced, it is immediately enforced under the authority of this rule.

Wow. I knew it'd only be a matter of time before someone started a rule-system within the rule-system.

I SECOND PROPOSAL 63, but only to see how meta this goes. :P

Anyway, if there's no more feedback on my new victory conditions:

64. There shall be three ways to win; by Fortune, by Force, or by Forging. To win by Fortune, a player must have over 200 widgets and must not lose any widgets within 24 hours. To win by Force, a player must successfully kill off all other players in a single day. To win by Forging, a player must collect six Great Discs and use them to form the Kanohi Vahi. Note that Great Discs have a power level of 9; each disc introduced into the game must begin at power level 1 and be successively upgraded in increments not to exceed one level per 24 hours. The methods of obtaining and upgrading discs shall be decided using subsequent mutable rules; it is recommended that they be challenging enough to be interesting but not so much as to be impossible.

(This should then be made immutable, by the way, but we can't do that until 64 passes.)

Lhik is that a new rule, or an amendment of Rule 48?

Likewise, it is only a matter of time before someone starts a mafia game in the Nomic game. Or a full Nomic game in the Nomic game.

EDIT: Ehks, is that a second? Will edit again for mining results if no new posts.

EDIT2: Actually, I think from now on, if it is in caps like that, I'll just assume SUPPORT = SECOND in all cases. You mined 6 widgets ores.

EDIT3: Correction above.

Armor created and widget minted. First post updated.

Proposal 66, to create a new mutable rule. I think this rule is thematic.

Whenever a player is fined for breaking a law, the widgets that are fined shall be transferred to the Great Nui Treasury. By a unanimous decision of the three Council Members of the Matoran Council, the Secretary of the Great Nui Treasury may be appointed, who has the ability to transfer funds from the Great Nui Treasury to players/characters or to other entities which may later be created in the game. The Matoran Council may create laws regulating the actions of the Secretary of the Great Nui Treasury in order to ensure he spends the funds of the Treasury in a manner the Council deems appropriate.

Didn't see this before. Updating the first post . . .

EDIT: You only have 9 ores, because 1 of your 2 ores you minted into a widget and spent to pay for mining.
