Hapori Tohu
The LEGO Dimensions social media pages have shared a which showcases both the game's Portal area and different ways of using the LEGO Dimensions toy pad to manipulate your character. Between changing your character's color, changing your character's size, and granting your character elemental abilities, there are a lot of new ways to "break the rules", which GLaDOS isn't too keen on! Makaru
So I guess we know why the Ideas project was rejected then. Quote Spoiler Alert
Click
I have to admit, I really thought Dimensions couldn't be worth that price... but Lego Portal levels make it all worth it. And it also explains why that thing is so expensive. 1 Quote ~ Corpus Rahkshi: Fang | Hoto | Tube | Tear | Canvas | Garrotte | Reda BZPRPG: Azusai | Mitsuri The Scarabax Library | Flickr | Deviantart

Lyichir
So I guess we know why the Ideas project was rejected then. Yes, we've known that for a while—it required new molds, something Lego Dimensions offers the budget for and Lego Ideas does not. Or were you implying that the Ideas proposal was rejected BECAUSE of Lego Dimensions? I seriously doubt that—after all, that didn't stop Back to the Future or Doctor Who, now did it? Makaru
No it was definitely the new molds. Makes more sense to release it as a non-ideas thing. Quote Spoiler Alert
Lyichir
No it was definitely the new molds. Makes more sense to release it as a non-ideas thing.Yeah. It certainly makes me hope for the same thing to happen for some other rejected projects, though. Today at E3 they announced figures of Donkey Kong and Bowser that could function as both Skylanders and Amiibo. I wonder if they could do something similar with Legend of Zelda for Lego Dimensions? Pomegranate
Now this is the content I like to see. LEGO Dimensions continues to prove itself one of LEGO's best ideas and investments. There seems to be no limit to amounts and kinds of franchises and accompanying fanbases they're getting their greedy plastic hands on I'm very excited for this Quote . Toa Smoke Monster
Though I've never played the portal games, I've always liked watching people play it on Youtube. (And I like GLaDOS a lot too. ) Seeing this new footage here of it in Lego Dimensions makes my excitement for this game continue to grow. Fry
Oh. My.GOD. Well, seeing as how this is the closet thing to Portal 3 that we're going to get, I'm sold. Also, someone really needs to Photoshop GabeN's face onto Chell at the end as another Steam Sale promo. Quote Visit my Bionicle 2001 site recreation! Rooster Nui
I'm really liking the look of this game, but I can't stress enough at how much it'll cost me to get the starter pack. This trailer has made feel like investing into it, but I'm not sure if it's actually worth it in the long term.
