doodleloot
Seeing all these amazing pieces of concept art makes me sad that we'll likely never get a Bionicle art book. Quote Hail Denmark

-Windrider-
Stop teasing me post the pictures. ICan't open the interview. I believe this would be the concept art in question. Toa Smoke Monster
That is some really cool artwork for Skull Basher. Especially his face. I really like the look it has, and I kind of wish the set's actual mask looked more like it. What are you working on now? Can't tell you. It is a Toa secret! I see what you did there, Thomas. emily
That concept art is so very very Voodoo Heads. Nescent
That concept art is insaaane! I wish we could see some for the other Skull villains. Summer didn't get nearly as much art as the winter wave, it seems.
Rooster Nui
The shaping of his mask in the concept art is awesome and I would've quite liked that as an official LEGO mold. I'd say he's more imposing as a villain in the art than in animation form, though they are quite different styles, so comparing them isn't the best thing sometimes. Lenny7092
Stop teasing me post the pictures. ICan't open the interview. Here you go Man, Skull Basher looks more fearsome in this early design! I like the mask! It looks cool, but a bit too long. No wonder why it never got into the final design. Quote I like Lego, Bionicle, and Hero Factory! fishers64
That concept looks more like Skull Grinder to me. Quote Hero Factory RPG | Bionicle Mafia XXIX: Storyline & Theories
Aanchir
That concept looks more like Skull Grinder to me. It seems to have elements of several of the skull villains (Basher's oversized horns, Slicer's oversized forehead, Grinder's color scheme, etc). Perhaps this was just a general concept for what the overall skull villain aesthetic might be like, and the looks then diverged from there as they developed that concept into a full series. 1 Quote Latest MOC: PAIGE (Prototype Artificial Intelligence, Gynoid Expression)
