Hello again. I painted this because it was on my desk.
It's a long form warmup while I work on another picture of Lewa.

This is an amazingly accurate rendition of the Hau Nuva, but what I like especially about it is the subtle cracks and chips giving it a little more of that ancient, legendary feeling. Very neat!

Beautiful, from the lights and shadows to the cracks, this is absolutely great! And true to the original, I suppose. I also like that it's not on a purely white background; the warm colour works well with the Hau.

Not bad.  Really captures that organic look the Hau Nuva had going for it.

 

I kinda miss the clay-molded mask designs, to be honest.  The later G1 masks felt like they were missing a lot of the earlier molds' charm.

Absolutely beautiful.  The Hau Nuva is not my favourite(much prefer the original Hau!), but...wow, have you done this justice(and then some!).  Stunning work.
