Definetaly interesting. I made a revamp of rawjaw with a better back and a lower jaw. I also replaced all the gunmetal gray with black or silver

^Not sure... If seen quite a few re-do's in sets, not sure if they belong here.Onto the topic itself:Wow. Scary. It gives off a natural feel that looks good on the set, but doesn't remove all sense of mechanical-ness.The use of brown over any other color is what made my happy. All in all: Good repaint!

As it's been said before, maybe not the best sub-forum.On to the repaint:...WOW, I'm blown away. The rust effect is stunning, as are the stripes painted. And you even painted eyes on!

Just out of curiosity, what did you use and how long did it take to repaint it?

I used acrylic paint, and it took me about an hour.

Nex is beautiful. Be sure to do the 4.0/1.0 heads once we get a good look at them. The preview on the HF website shows them, but I can't imagine you can do much with those.

Thanks! I tend to keep the Glatorian heads as they are for their glowing-eye effect, but I could try to paint around them. I've actually painted blue eyes on Nex's head, and I'll get a picture of it as soon as I have a good camera.

These are amazing. I love the rusted effect on Rawjaw and the details on Nex. I do remember someone repainted Nex with tiger stripes on the old forums, and your repaint could benefit from it. Nitroblast is meh, but the effects are intruiging.

Oh, wow! That's really quite an impressive repaint. I particularly like how the worn appearance matches with the jungle theme of the original set. Good job. The other painted parts of other sets look nice as well.~B~

these are very nice! when i repaint i never think to make it look realistic, and you have made raw jaw look like he actually came from the jungle. the other repaints are nice too.

That's cool! I have a question, though. Does acrylic come off after you use it on plastic?

Incredible - you've made a HF set look purely epic, something difficult to do with all the bright colors and such. I certainly wouldn't like to see one of those in a dark alley in the... jungle... Well, if all the Savage Planet beasts looked like this (and the storyline was bearable), I'd give HF another chance as a story.
