Nidhiki. He was the first titan set I ever got, and is still easily one of my favourite Bionicle sets of all time.

I'm sure nostalgia plays a part in that, but one of the standout details to me is that he's one of the very few sets that isn't just a basic humanoid. There was so much room for creativity and craziness in Bionicle, and it's such a shame to me that so many of the species and characters we got in later years were essentially just tall Toa.

I love Muaka and Kane-Ra. On the one hand I wish they were a bit different from each other, because it's a weird world where tigers and bulls are identical except for their noses, ears, feet and colours... but they're just such a cool, immersive build that it's hard to hold that against them. I have legitimately not found any other action feature in a Bionicle set that is as satisfying as the two of them lunging forward with their necks and their jaws snapping shut, it is just. The coolest. I didn't get them when they were new, only a few years later, but I fell in love with them right away. I like, too, how their faces are just built out of normal technic, very few specialised parts, yet are still very clear what they're meant to be.

I also like 2008!Takanuva a lot, too, for being an impressively substantial Titan build who - more than any of the other Toa that year - resembles the character he's meant to be... who himself is very significant to me because I loved Mask of Light so much as a child. (unfortunately that's one set I don't imagine I'll ever own again: I sold him while I was clearing out a decade ago, and now he only goes for like £90+ on eBay and I cannot justify spending that much to get him back!)

I gotta say, Ackar really does it for me.

Sure, he's not the most complex set, but he's a nice little build, and gives me happy nostalgia for watching TLR on dvd, with my Glatorian collection behind me.

He's my "red one i had as a kid". And i like him for that.

Lhikan and Kikinalo.

There are standalone cannister Toa I **might** take over Lhikan in a nostalgia/favourite character matchup (Tahu, basically), but the Metru are the best over all Toa: scale, poseability, and masks, and Lhikan is The Red One and The Gold One and The Mentor.

So he'd be in contention if he were a cannister set.

But he's also got a full-blown Rahi making him a titan set?

My favourite, hands-down.

has to be skull grinder/kulta for me. back in 2015 I saw him in the lego magazine but never got him. probably nostalgia though because everyone else thinks kulta and ekuimu(also really good) aren't very interesting, nor complex
