Hapori Tohu
The Hero Factory website has been updated to include the sets from the summer wave. Now you can view videos and bios for the Heroes like Nex, Bulk, Stringer, and Stormer. Additionally, new levels have also been added to the Breakout Game, letting you play as more heroes and face different villains. You can check out all the new content here.View the full article Quote News Forums Q&A

dotcom
Nice to see they're completely disregarding Bulk's previous characterization and making him some brainless thug!I'm being sarcastic by the way.Other than that, the new product animations are pretty cool, definitely the best they've had so far. Also loving the Keetongu reference on XT4's bio.
FrozenFlash
Those new product animations are neat and so are the new bios. Like what KZN02 said, it would be nice if there were new wallpapers inculded.
Gatanui
Impressive update for today's standards! New bios and weapon descriptions are very refreshing. I like them, as well as the rest of the update. Still, wallpapers and some other stuff are missing, but it's not like I ever downloaded them anyway. -Gata Quote - Gata Please don't use my avatar or signature without permission, thanks! Takua Nui
The only new product animation I like is Bulk. Apart from that there's not a lot to talk about.
Linsanity
If only Bulk's rocket launcher could actually launch something like it does in the animation...
Aanchir
I'm also kinda frustrated that Bulk's character development has been ignored, especially as his internal conflict from 2010 isn't even being mentioned. But at the same time I'm also very grateful that these bios and weapon descriptions are so very detailed. With Hero Factory story details being few and far between, it's always nice when the story details we do get have so much humor and depth.Surprised to see what is still missing. There are no new downloads, which is not a huge surprise since the winter downloads were also a long time coming, but it's a real surprise that the combi model building instructions for the new sets don't seem to be up. Those, I'd think, would be a priority, since the sets (which are now out in the US) advertise the combi models and tell kids to go to the Hero Factory site to find them. Meiko
Not too much new, but at least it's nice that they've updated it (unlike the Ninjago website... ). dotcom
I thought this was a bionicle fan site not hero factory. could some one please fill me in! If we only covered Bionicle we would have run out of news a long time ago. Bionicle is dead, and as a result this is more a general Lego fansite. We get HF news, because a lot of us like HF. That's all.
-Windrider-
I thought this was a bionicle fan sight not hero factory. could some one please fill me in!Well, if you notice the header at the top, you'll see that we're all about "LEGO News, Reference, and Discussion." Specifically, we do tend to focus on LEGO's constraction themes, and yes, this includes Hero Factory. You mentioned in two recent topics that there is a lack of Bionicle news on the front page. Well, this is true. Since Bionicle ended a couple years ago, there have not been new stories to post. If you look through the news archives, however, you'll notice that there have always been general LEGO reports sprinkled in amongst the Bionicle stories. These have only become the majority now because Bionicle has ended. You may believe that it is unfortunate that Hero Factory news stories adorn the front page, but this is necessary for BZPower to survive.I'm not trying to say that we have abandoned Bionicle completely here. There is still plenty for the Bionicle fan to find on BZPower. Nearly all of the works posted in the Creative Outlet are Bionicle-related. This has not changed. There is still a forum dedicated to discussion of Bionicle Sets and Collectibles. Bionicle Storyline and Theories is one of the most active forums on the site. Heck, almost every non-set forum in the LEGO Discussion group has a fair amount of topics about your favorite line. Is there Hero Factory and Ninjago mixed in? Yes, but without them, BZPower would wither, leaving no room for Bionicle at all. Edited August 8, 2012 by -Windrider-
boston100
Thanks. I realize this site would die if you only did bionicle news but There is so little of it here that I think you could find a few more things to write about. Is there any bionicle fan site that has NO hero factory? I hate it when I see hero factory stuff here. Thanks again for replying Quote As long as there is one bionicle fan out there there is still hope for bionicle to return. Keep faith. Bionicle is amazing. Is there any bionicle fan site that has NO hero factory? I hate it when I see hero factory stuff here. Thanks again for replyingThe thing is, there is nothing to write about BIONICLE on the front page. BIONICLE MOCs and art are regularly featured on the front page and when there are updates in the Faber Files, that's being reported on, too, but there simply isn't anything else to write about. Unless you want the Reporters to start making up stuff, which I don't think you do.We all like BIONICLE, as that's the reason we are here, and I'm sure most of us would be happy to see some BIONICLE news up there, but unfortunately, there is barely anything to report on it these days and you can believe us we are sorry about that, but some things you can't change. :/-Gata Quote - Gata Please don't use my avatar or signature without permission, thanks! Lenny7092
I like how the Hero Factory website is newly updated, but still no Breez or Thornraxx set pages in the Products page. Quote I like Lego, Bionicle, and Hero Factory!
Aanchir
I like how the Hero Factory website is newly updated, but still no Breez or Thornraxx set pages in the Products page.Probably just a mistake. After all, Breez and Thornraxx were originally listed as winter sets, but got removed later on for the US version of the site since the US wasn't getting those sets until summer. Presumably when the summer set updates were rolled out for the various country-specific sites they all saw the same changes to the products page set list, but they didn't think to put Breez and Thornraxx's product pages back up for the US site in particular. If you're really interested in seeing them, Great Britain's version of the site has Breez here and Thornraxx here.
