Hitoshura Posted May 15, 2013 Share Posted May 15, 2013 (edited) There's really no important point, but it's kind of a way to show that you and that person "like" each other, etc. Or for permission for viewing your profile page, as you can change the settings to only "friends" can view your profile. I used to have a lot of new members add me to their friends list, but I never really interacted with them. It's really just a contest that the staff have been keeping secret, but got leaked 5 days ago. The person with the most friends by May 35th will get a cookie from Black Six. But on a serious note, it's just there to show off your "circle" of friends who you may or may not talk with at all. Regardless, it's to show who's worth actually adding as a friend to you.
