This was a much quicker doodle than my last random comic on life, so if you can't tell what's going on: my cell phone rings from inside my backpack, I go to get it as fast as I can, as I'm taking it out I grab the top half and it accidentally flips open a bit, but then I half-drop it for a second and it snaps shut again... so the phone registers that as me answering the call and hanging up again.
><
I went to maximum zoom on Chrome and only then could I make out all the details on the last kanji there.
And I thought some of those Chinese characters were hard. I learned simplified Chinese. No such luck, so far as I can tell, kanji came from unsimplified.
How is it possible to remember that? How is it possible to write that on a sheet of lined paper? I mean, the "Suzumiya," fair enough, about on par with simplified Chinese. First half of "yuuutsu," okay, that's 15 strokes, but I've had
Looks like I've got into Rutgers.
I don't think any other school I've applied to is rolling admissions, so the next decision to come out ought to be MIT, in December sometime (I applied Early Action). Fingers crossed for that one, 'cuz it's basically far out in the "dream" section.
Yesterday I dumped four forms on my counselor, which means all that is left is this ridiculously long and difficult Cooper Union application. It's like, ten essay questions in a row. ><
Well, okay, ther
Yeah I dunno how G Gundam was split up but 24 seems like it could have been a season finale. Anyway, just finished up to there.
Ah, you gotta love the classics... no, it doesn't have the fancy animation quality of 2000's anime, and some of the cheesier bits made me chuckle, but they do work, and they don't skimp on the animation during the important scenes, it's really a great show, and the God Gundam is one sexy machine.
Judging by the episode preview, looks like Master Asia's still alive
G Gundam's are far too exciting for my own good.
"OMG it's a mummy." *clicks*
"OMG a dude gets possessed by the Devil Gundam." *clicks*
"OMG IT'S FRIKKIN MASTER ASIA." *clicks*
"OMG old rivals and Rain gets in the cockpit and geez I should be doing homework. Must... not... give in... to urge..."
I should probably... just... stop watching the episode previews.
I wrote this for a college short answer prompt, but it's something that's been running around in my mind for a while, really.
I never had quite the talent for getting my feelings across in words, but I hope a bit of how this touched me can still communicate with you, as the reader.
This story is completely true, and it affected me pretty deeply. I was supposed to keep it around 250 words, but it's already topped 330. I probably could have made this my long essay, but then I wouldn't know w
>.< Bad time of life I chose to start watching anime.
Oh yeah.
I'm going to need to retouch the first part that I colored... after I finish shading the last leg.
This is going quicker than expected.
Also, I believe this is my anima. This resulted from two doodles (in the lower right corner) on my notes of "what would I look like as a girl?" which resulted from the entry in Wrack's blog about "what would you wear if you were a fantasy princess?"
... I choose very random things to become interested in drawing. Oh well. I suppose it keeps my creative juices flowing.
Or something.
Also I think I'm horribly misinterpreting Jung up there. Oh well.
*sigh* well, after the disappointing results of the last contest, I said I wouldn't be entering any more...
But the theme is too interesting to pass up. Besides, I need something to do to unwind from all this college stuff.
I don't expect to win and I won't be putting forth tireless hours of effort. This is just for fun.
Sketch so far. Concept "car" based off the Ussal and, loosely, the Volkswagen Beetle.
*sigh*
It's not going too badly, though, but I'm having to clean off the ends of the lines by hand.
So, it's election day! Pretty exciting. MSNBC is open in another window. (not paying much attention XD)
I really should be working on college stuff. =<
SO I'VE TRIED TO POST THIS BLOG ENTRY FOUR TIMES ALREADY, RIGHT?
Thank goodness for my ctrl-A ctrl-C habit... >>
So, school doodles... in more ways than one! Ahahaha... hah... that was a nice pun.
Okay, obviously that's not what I drew in my notes. That's a quick somewhat cleaner trace. This is what I drew in my notes. A bit counter-intuitive, but the parts where the lines are lighter are where I thought I did better on the original sketch; didn't require as much redrawing in
(bleh, need to find that clip in better quality so I can make a better GIF)
I has book report. =(
It's boring. =(
I think most of it's going to be... "filler material." There's a more common, two-letter name for it, but I'm not allowed to say it here.
Doodled on English notes, vector'd in Photoshop.
I also made another agenda doodle in the Oct 31 box, and gave that a quick color too.
Aaaah Nia is so much fun to draw! Altho the tiny scale I've gotten used to doodling things on isn't exactly doing wonders for my detail work.
So I set both my alarms last night, for 5:05 and 5:15. Turn it up to max volume. I wake up to hear my clock beeping and go "Great, I woke up at the planned time!"
Look at the clock, it's 5:58.
I SLEPT THROUGH
IT'S SUE!
Who is in green for some reason.
I may not have a Wii, but I'm loving the graphics and art coming out of the Cave Story Wiiware project.
And the photo of the back of Pixel's head. XD
I'm going to have to pester LZ into getting this once it comes out. And then pester my parents to let me go to his house.
And then proceed to epicly fail at playing Cave Story with an actual controller rather than the keyboard.
