So Saturday I went down to Hartford for ConnectiCon 2007. Arrived early in the morning to beat rush hour AND to claim a parking spot at the convention center.
I wore my custom pirate cosplay, and despite it being layers of black, I was not sweating in it (especially when we went outside for a good period of time to take pics).

I present you the Beetlejuice, which is made in opposition of the Betelgeuse (another gun). Though they share similar fancy designs and stuff, they are not the same gun and can be awesomely mistaken.
Unlike the Betelgeuse, the Beetlejuice can break the 9999 damage and when equipped, beautiful women will flock to your very presence.

The Final Fantasy XIII Compilation (Fabula Nova Crystallis), comprises of 3 different games. The main title Final fantasy XIII (PS3) and two other games Final Fantasy Versus XIII (PS3) and Final Fantasy Agito XIII (Mobile Phone). Each of these games has a seperate storyline and are neither prequel nor sequel to each other. Basically they are 3 seperate games with Final Fantasy XIII in the title.

So Massachusetts had a huge lottery in celebration of the 4th of July, call the Star Spangled Sweepstakes. It was a scratch ticket lottery.
The grand prize was 20 million. 10 chances of winning a million, and 40 chances of winning 250 grand. So basically it is 40 million total.
I of course entered, because it isn't everyday Omi plays the lottery. In fact this would be the first time I ever purchased a scratch ticket since I turned 18. I only bought 2 tickets, and paid half for a third tick

Recently PMs were sent out to members from members who were hacked that exposed "posts" of me swearing. Whether I said those words or not, it isnt the case (posts aren't real anyways. If they were, the words would be filtered).
What I wanna bring up is you cannot judge a person fully because they swear. You can if they use racial slurs, in which case I do not use those.

Final Fantasy XII is the buzz right now, and one of my new fave Final Fantasys. The characters themselves actually have the hardest costumes (in any FF) to cosplay and pull off cuz of the amazing detail, and some stuff is hard to manage.
However I have found the best of the best FFXII cosplayers, because not only are their costumes in full detail, but so are their looks, because they also look like the character.

So I am looking at the Guest List for Otakon, and only 2 people have caught my eye.
One is Steve Blum. He is known in anime for doing deep voices and such, however in Final Fantasy, he does the voice for Vincent Valentine in Advent Children and Dirge of Cerberus.
Another guest is Hitoshi Sakimoto. He is well known for composing the music for Final Fantasy Tactics, Vagrant story, and Final Fantasy XII.
I'll be making sure to pay these guys a visit and get my game and soundtracks signed.
So I am working on the zeppelin portion of Setzer's Blackjack. I am about 50% finished with it. I need to cover the top and bottom with the smooth black wedges (like a shell).
I am also tinkering out with a possible setup for the hull portion.
I have also ordered various minifig pieces to make Celes, Setzer, Locke, and Shadow.

In Final Fantasy I, there is a reference to Link from Zelda, and they been keeping it since it's Playstation incarnation FF Origins.
Basically there is a town called Elfheim (a town of elves), and there is a gravestone which reads "Here Lies Link".
Which would mean Link is dead. Not moving. No life in him.
Gotta love Final Fantasy!.
Originally though, in the incarnations previous to the PSX version, the name read "Erdrick", which was a poke at Dragon Quest.

The Final Fantasy series is a plethora of interesting moments and cinematics. I have seen characters fall in love. I have seen characters rival one another. I have seen deaths of characters. I have seen the menacing bad guys and their wicked awesome "entrance" into the games, and also their final sequences. I have seen great endings. I have seen poor endings. I have seen foolish mistakes. I have also seen grammatical errors, that just work.
