I have a question involving this

>Image-only comments are not allowed. However, comments with only an emote are allowed.

is that restricted to emotes installed on BZP, or are there certain guidelines that allow for custom ones?

for example if I wanted to use this

aagh.gif

would I be able to since it's technically an emote?

I'm going to have to say it is limited to BZP-installed emotes, just to stop any potential confusion and work-arounds that I can already see happening in my head. Be glad there's an emote exception, and remember that if it gets abused, it will be gone. :)

Would comments with just a quote and an image count against the rule, also?

Yes, those count against the rule.

I recently got this entry locked because it counted as an RPG. The point of this entry was that there was a character in a situation, and a member would have to give a command for the character to do.

Would it be okay to continue it as long as it doesn't have fan input?

You could try to make a full comic out of it..

So kinda like the original concept, except without the commands made by the members and more like a comic (each page looking like this) ?

I'm going to go with no, it's not okay. An RPG is still an RPG whether it's made with a comic or not. If you remove all fan-input, and turn it into just a comic, it'll be fine. But otherwise, that's a negative.

Well, I don't want my Sonic Contest topic/blog entry to be washed away in the sea of other blog entries I make, so how would I be able to make sure that it doesn't?

You can bump the entry whenever you feel it's necessary.

Entry options > Make Draft > Republish.

Do emoticons count as pictures? Because if they do, then an emoticon-only post isn't allowed...

Comments with just an emoticon are allowed (only BZP's emotes; comments with just emotes of Maj, Photobucket, etc. aren't allowed).

On the topic of MSPA-like comics. Is it okay if the commands are submitted via PM? Then the entry is only for the comic.

Yes, but if it gets out of hand I reserve the right to say 'no'.

Is it okay to post an entry asking whether people like my MOC or another person's MOC better? I'm pretty sure that that's okay.

Sure, just remember that respect is our number one rule, so make sure to keep it nice and civil and about MOCs and not people. :)

'Kay. It probably will stay that way, although there may be some discussion of members' MOCing techniques. :)

Am I allowed to post in blog entries that have been inactive for 20+ days? Or does the same rule apply as in normal forums?

You can. Revival rules don't apply to the blogs.

I've seen a few instances of people, instead of posting image-only comments, post whatever caption said image has and putting ".jpg" or ".png" after it. I realize this doesn't fall under the restrictions of "no image-only comments", but it seems kind of like evading the rules.

It's not copy-right infringement if I upload a music album's artwork to use in my blog and say it's not mine, right?
