    in Time Trap, Vakama acts as though the six of them knew each other beforehand, even if only as acquaintances. "Nokama" goes along with this, but seeing as she's not actually Nokama, the whole thing could have just been Vakama testing to see if what he was experiencing was real. kind of hard to tell, imo. at the very least, though, Vakama and Nuju did meet before becoming Toa, as Vakama made the scope on Nuju's mask.

    none of the above. the Toa Mahri don't need a replacement for Matoro. (also you know you want the Chronicler's Company to be the next group of Matoran to become Toa. everyone headcanons it)

    i knew of BZP since all the way back in 2005 when i happened upon it while, you guessed it, Google searching 'bionicle'. unfortunately i was very much a child in 2005 and had (still have) overprotective parents who wouldn't let me join BZP until four years later, long past the site's prime. such a shame...i missed out on four whole years of embarrassing myself

    i'd say they're worth collecting, between the nostalgia factor and the great colours. plus if you buy multiples along with some extra feet and masks in different colours you can make your own cute little rainbow army of McToran.

    the people selling them for $10 on ebay are laughably mistaken. there's a guy on bricklink who has nearly 900 of them and he's selling them for $2 apiece. they really are not worth $10.

    they're kind of rare? the TNGM was a promotional piece, but there's at least a good few thousand in existence so they're not as rare as, say, the misprints. they don't go for very much on bricklink; somewhere around $2-3 (US) on average.

    chutespeak was invented by the Le-Matoran of Metru Nui, who, to put it really eloquently, like to go fast. naturally, this also applies to their speech. if i recall correctly, Orkahm, who prefers to take it slow, doesn't use chutespeak. as for how the Le-Matoran relearned it as treespeak, that was likely Matau's doing.

    Those are not prototypes. Those are misprints. It really depends. They can range from around $200 to $1000 heh, my bad. i had just woken up; sorry for the misunderstanding.

    on Bricklink, Matatus and Rurus seem to vary in price based on colour; brown ones start around $2 while red ones go up to $20. yellow and light blue Kaukaus are really rare, and can go for $30 or more (although every now and then there's a seller who gives a great deal on them). if i were you, i'd give Bricklink listings a look and then take an average price from all the listings for a certain mask. ..not for the Kaukaus though. currently there's just two listings for the yellow Kaukau and they're both ridiculously, unrealistically expensive.

    the Mahri Nui Matoran had fantastic and very customizable designs. hands-down winner for me. the McToran, '03 Matoran, and Voyatoran do deserve honourable mentions though; '03s in particular for the MNOG2 nostalgia factor.

    they don't make for good MOCing pieces though.

    *clears throat* the torso pieces were strangely shaped (right angles?!?) due to the inclusion of the spinner launcher, and the completed torsos had enormous gaps. the feet were enormous and silly-looking and the lower legs bent backward in a really awkward way. each of the six sets had a short left arm and a long right arm, resulting in a completely ridiculous design and one each of three limb pieces in six different colours, one of which (the upper right arm) was just about unusable in MOCs. the heads were also difficult to use, especially if you didn't have two of the same mold. ...have i missed anything? (that being said: the lower right arm, the neck, and the chest armour are all excellent pieces)
