  1. BZP-related:

    - What are your thoughts on BZP's current restrictive policies, such as disallowing the members from political discussion on the site?

    - What policies would you prefer to enforce?

    - Things seem a little too 'buddy-buddy' between some staff members, unebelievable to many that it's even real. Is it really that close between staff members? Or not?

    - I've seen staff use sensors for curse words or use several # for a sensor and get away with it, while regular members can't. Means the same thing, sensored or not, staff or not. My question is, they're staff, and they are a member of the site like everybody else and should follow the rules like everybody else, so why should they get special treatment and get away with things?

    Guitar/Music-related

    - What songs have you learned to play on the guitar? Any B. B. King, David Gilmour, or maybe Stevie Ray Vaugn (may have spelled that wrong)

    - What is your favorite guitar solo, and who is it done by? (example: David Gilmour, Time by Pink Floyd)

    - Who is your favorite musician and why?

That just about wraps it up for me.

  2. Get it. The simple black-and-white theme of it makes it eerie, and it being just this little kid makes it even more interesting. However, depending on your tolerance for blood, you might want to filter the gore a bit if you can - sticks can go through his head, and he can be...well, it's a little too violent to go into. :P If you turn the gore off, anytime he dies, the screen will just go black.

But seriously, get it. It's an amazing game, I haven't beaten it myself, but I'm about halfway through it. Expect it to be no easy task to beat it, though, it's pretty difficult, much harder than any puzzle game I've ever played.

  3. I apologize for being rude in any way, I did not mean to offend, I admit I should have elaborated on my point further before incessantly bashing the movie. Not going to bash it further but just explain what I meant, I did exaggerate on it being horrid because of being so depressing. I didn't mean to put it that way at all, I just felt that it being so depressing was the downfall of the movie, or not so much the downfall but the sadness of it seemed to outweigh the pros of the movie, or any happy parts of it.

As with any movie/TV/book, you have to balance the emotions. I agree with Phyoohrii, there are a lot of great movies, television shows, and books that are wonderful because of their depressing theme, because although there is a lot of sadness and/or drama in them, they still can maintain that emotion and add at least something to it that can balance the emotion. In Up, I did not see that balance.

Indeed, they had a wonderful plot and beautiful concept to work with, but I think they didn't try hard enough to make it slightly humorous with the sorrowful side of it. It simply outweighed that emotion entirely, which was my problem with it. The visual of the movie itself was great, but I just felt they could have done better with the picture, as with any movie. It still had good points, but I just feel that it could have been better. I apologize again for offending anybody by calling it horrid.

That aside, I must agree with Gata. Monsters Inc is basically just a fun movie posessing a very interesting idea of monsters in another world that come through kids' closets to scare them, as it's one of those fears that kids have. They spun a funny twist into the details of the movie of it being a job, not a hobby or anything like that, which was what made it so interesting. Maybe it's not my favorite, but it's still one of my favorite Pixar films. ^^

  4. Although having not seen it myself, I did think that they started going downward at TS3, although that was still an okay picture. Favorites have to be the Incredibles, Ratatouille, and Wall-E. Grachics were pretty amazing on all of them...

...Up, on the other hand, was horrid. So depressing that I'd be happier jumping off a cliff than seeing that picture again. I mean, the guy's wife dies, can't do what he wants, and ends up bashing some guy in the head with his cane so he has to pay for that. It just was way too depressing and wasn't up to par with Pixar's usually pictures.

Still, I forget, what was right after TS3? Wasn't it Cars 2? Can't recall.

  5. At least under an hour for me - I've got it down to a science. :P And at one point, I had listened to Still Alive over two hundred times on my WMP, but the data went away for it for some reason. Probably over three hundred from both playing the game and the times I've listened to it after the data wipe. xD

  6. Yeah, Xbox, if nobody noticed, released the 'Avatar' concept a few years after Wii released, where they had the Mii concept.

I can see why Nintendo held off for so long from releasing the ability to socialize with people online, considering Xbox's immature audience (Go into a Call of Duty lobby some time and just listen. Same with Halo. Enough ten-year-olds on there?). They would be catering to this audience if they released online play for their games where you could actually chat with other people - I'd prefer it if they sticked to family-styled gameplay, as they always have.

Still, Zelda will no doubt come. Skyward Sword was amazing, and it took them that long to release another Zelda game on the Wii after Twilight Princess, but hey, it will take a few years. If you want the game to have excellent detail and graphics and be the most wonderful game you've ever played as opposed to Call of Duty's 'game every year' operation, you'll have to be patient. :P

  7. Do all sore throats last only one day?

Not necessarily, no. As Ballom said, 1-3 days, as you can start having one the day before you are sick in bed but it isn't as bad, and then you after the second day it is wearing off. The really bad part of it lasts one day, but it kind of lingers I guess, lol.

  8. It lasts for one day but it is the hardest part to get through it seems. D= Hope you get better, man.

This is something that's been going around, I caught it a few weeks ago. I've only just gotten over it - as an advanced warning, you're going to be sick for awhile if this is the same cold. Force the fluids, man, force the fluids.
