  1. Dissection isn't part of their job. Their job is to maintain the RS revival system, not to be dissecting the revivees. And a broken teleporter has nothing to do with the sentience of MU inhabitants. Dissecting them wouldn't tell them how it broke, even if they thought the MU inhabitants broke it. Interrogations would work better. And after 90,000 years of MU sentience, wouldn't have they had started to figure out that it was just one teleporter that broke, the other one works just fine, and to repair the first one? (And that interrogations would work better?) Are the Kestora purely robots? Other than that possibility, I think they have a few screws loose. Let me clarify: to revive inhabitants of the Matoran universe and send them back. That may well require dissection of corpses - say, if the system refuses to send the revived beings back. I'm confused - one teleporter is working? The teleporter that brings people up to the star is still working. But you would think that after 90,000 years, the theory would have come up that the system is broken, not the people, you know? Is the teleporter that beams them up in the Matoran Universe or the Red Star? Also, whether or not they can fix it depends on a lot of things.

  4. My thoughts exactly. I was wondering why people considered them to be "insane" - clearly they were doing their job. Dissecting other beings? That's part of their job.
  5. I entered the final match and the screen turned black, taking me to a cutscene where Hahli and Maku were talking to Vakama. I'm going to assume that the final match wasn't played to get you to watch Mask of Light. It's a great game. It reminded me of why I loved the first few years so much.
  6. Most of these were already criterion. Unless the new mold thing refers to parts requests (which are separate from set submissions), then none that I'm aware of are new (although I'm probably forgetting something).

  11. I would need a disk for Jaller. I don't have instructions or canisters for those as they are duplicates from bulk lots on Craigslist. I have more to add that I haven't confirmed yet. Do you have any of the parts there? I also have some masks I'm looking for that aren't on the list - some pearl gold and silver Kanohi, the Copper Masks of Victory, and a few other ones.
  12. After completing MNOG I, I decided to revisit MNOG II. Eventually, I grew tired of manually training stats (it's a bit absurb how much you have to do just to beat Ko-Koro - even Onu-Koro gave me trouble after a little training (even though somehow it didn't give me any as a kid without any training). I was wondering about a few things... Are there any strategies in Kolhii which make things easier (other than letting your goalkeeper hold the ball once you're up in points, securing the game) What do all of the stats you can train do? Clearly speed makes you faster. I assume that accuracy makes the ball travel to a point closer to where you click, and stamina is pretty obvious. The others I'm less clear about. I assume that willpower makes it harder to steal the ball from you (or easier to steal from your opponent), strength makes your ball harder to catch/go faster/more likely to stun the goalie, and strategy does...I have no idea what. Is there a trick to beating the Willpower challenge? I was not able to beat it after trying six/seven times. I understand what to do, but it seems like there must be an easier way. Lastly, when I reached the final tournament, the game screen turned black after I walked into the ring, even after refreshing it over and over. This is the Biomediaproject save version (download) and I was wondering if anyone knows a way to fix that (without just manually setting it so that it's already been completed). Apparently if I wait for long enough, it skips to the next thing - is that supposed to happen? Is there supposed to be a Kolhii match, or am I supposed to watch Mask of Light to see it?

I watched the videos recently, and I may be mistaken, but that appeared to be Matoran working together for survival, not an official guard...unless this was in a book. Was it in the second book? I don't have a screenshot on hand, but play MNOG 1 and go to ga-koro near the end of the game. Oh yeah. I had totally forgotten about them. My apologies.

  15. Ga-Koro clearly does not have guards.
  16. The Takarava attack worked because they had no defenses against it. It doesn't make sense to assume that they had some other defense when they clearly didn't have one. Also, the villages aren't necessarily the same as the Wahi. A beast that lurks on the treefloor (Le-Wahi) isn't going to be much of a threat against the treetop village of Le-Koro. Likewise, Ta-Koro is in a mountain surrounded by a lava moat. Ta-Wahi is a beach and some forest.
  17. This is great. It's definitely a lot more accurate to the movie than the set, and it's far more interesting. The body design is the best part, I think.

  19. That sounds excessive. Ga-Koro clearly doesn't have defenders, or if they do it's a VERY small amount. The Ussalry and Gukko Force probably have far fewer people than the Guard because they ride mounts. We haven't seen ANY guards at Po-Koro, so if they have any, the number is quite small. I suspect they rely on the same defense as Ga-Koro, which is the terrain. Even Ta-Koro, which is known for its guard, shouldn't need much of one because of the terrain. It's likely that the numbers don't top 40 (especially as life on Mata Nui is fairly difficult).
  20. Obviously the number we saw in MNOG had to be small, but I'm of the opinion that any guard there is in Ko-Koro is limited to 10, or 20 at most, while the Ta-Koro guard probably exceeds 25-30. That's just how I feel things are. Also, I suspect that Ga-Koro has no guards whatsoever, and Po-Koro has a minimal number, if any (the Matoran there are fairly able-bodied).

  22. As I said, I don't consider guards to be the same as an army. If you have a group of five people guarding a town, that's not an army. They won't be able to defend you from an actual army. There's definitely a structured guard - Kapura has his viewing room and there's a hut (where I presume there are sometimes Ko-Koro guards), as well as the guards outside of the city. But that's not much. Granted, they could have a lot more guards in a place we're not seeing them, but the Ta-Koro guard appears to function more as an army than the Ko-Koro guard.
