  1. The mask of reanimation can raise more than previously sentient corpses.. From what i have read the red star does not seem to affect rahi corpses.. So there would be plenty of rahi corpses around to be reanimated by the mask. So yeah just felt i would give my little input on this. That's correct. The star doesn't affect Agori or Glatorian either, so Matoro could in theory revive those two dead Agori/Glatorian (I don't know which they were) in the control chamber of Mata Nui. Yeah but i mean we are talking about why canon-wise and from story perspective the mask of reanimation would ever be created.. Probably because of the environment. Matoro's mask was changed in 2007 and it would have been near-useless in Karda Nui. The mask of reanimation is interesting for two reasons - it brings back really cool Rahi, and it clearly disgusts Matoro.

  3. Wrong. I am currently romantically attached to a pizza, and I get in trouble if I even look at chocolate. The person below me believes that this is not a description of them.
  4. You realize that the cell was life, and that in gaining freedom from it, you are dead. I wish for 50,000 dollars in legal 100 dollar bills in my room in neat piles.
  5. That is Backlot. You can download it from the BioMedia Project (although you'll have to follow their specific instructions for downloading Xampp and using it properly). It will be in the Club Games folder (I believe that's the third download). It's a good game, worth playing again. It's a bit plain, but fun.
  6. lol... I'm and Engineer. I can run circles around people in Math, Physics, and Thermodynamics.English is not my strong suit.... never was. However you are right, it needs to be fixed. Not sure how I'm going to do it yet.My original plan was to follow Bionicle's script.... and that's still the plan, however I've decided to take some creative liberties in order to enhance the expiriance.Takua jump-kicking the Bohrok was put in for two main reasons. The first is to tell the player that in my game a different fighting-style is going to be used by each group of Matoran. In contrast to the original game where everyone mostly used a disk. The second reason is I wanted to make Takua a jack-of-all trades because he has traveled around the island much more than any other matoran. Is he as good as an Onu-engineeer at building things? No. But can he figure out how to fix the bridge machine? Yes. He is nowhere near as good at jump-kicking as a Po-Matoran who lives and breathes Kolhii. But he can do it a little because he has been immersed in every villages culture to some degree. What do you think? I know it isn't cannon, but that's my reasoning. Well, I can't say that I love the idea of it, but it works. I can see him acquiring some fighting ability, but I think a throwing disk would make more sense. I do agree with the jack-of-all-trades thing, I'm just not sure if that would include close combat fighting. How is the text done? Image files or is it just a text file?
  7. 1.5/5. I'm not a big fan of parodies. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4-M_m1I1uKU An interesting song that Dave Kaleta (a great builder on MOCpages) posted made by a local group he knows.
  8. Very impressive. I'd love to see this as a LEGO model.
  9. Many fans would not have read them as books cost money. They might have been introduced to certain people who wouldn't have heard of BIONICLEstory.com, but I think the more likely effect would have been to decrease overall knowledge. Serials were also generally about more fringe/side-story type events, although they did explain things to do with some sets - such as Takanuva in 2008.
  10. If I'm not mistaken, Teridax did not know the location of Daxia, which was a closely kept secret.
  11. I'm interested in the Copper Masks of Victory (how much are they?) and I need the Bahrag, the Manas, Takua and Pewku, and the Nui-Rama. I'm also interested in the pearl gold masks (except the Akaku) and the pearl silver Pakari, Hau, and Akaku. How much are they worth? Lastly, how much for a full set of Krana? If you have more chrome silver Hau, I also want that. I'm not entirely sure how much I can spend right now and it'll take maybe a week to get the money together once we settle on a price and the full list. Good luck on your quest.
  12. Atm Nuparu and I are the only ones working on the game. Do you need any help with development? There may be something I can do.
  13. Personally, I see BZPower/BS01 (and BMP) as the last real homes of the BIONICLE fanbase online. I can see why you'd want that, but as long as BZPower can run without others, I think it would be best to preserve that. If you make it a hub for everything, it's loses that special aspect. Okay, but the bionicle fanbase doesn't really exist anymore. That's the whole point of this topic. There's nothing sustaining it and if we just stay stagnant the site will continue to dwindle. It's not what it once was, but when I came back to the site I was expecting a ghost town. This is far from a ghost town. I've managed a few failing forums and this does not look a thing like any of them. There's still plenty of BIONICLE discussion going on, even. If that weren't happening, and the discussion were all Hero Factory, I could see reason to diversify (for then the BIONICLE community would really have been dead), but it's not like that.
  14. The Rhotuka is from Rahaga Kualus. It was only in that set, but the set was pretty cheap and widely available. Alright, I wasn't sure if it was normal. That's too bad.
  15. I didn't see any glitches - I think once or twice the mouse turned to the turn circle but it didn't act like it until it was near the edge. The only animation issue I saw was the Jala thing where he teleports on screen. A few other things: When the Takua pulls the gears down while the Pahrak are on the bridge, it would be a lot better if the bridge drops out from under them and the Pahrak hang in the air for a second before falling rapidly. I think it would fit with the cartoony humor of Mata Nui Online Game. The markings for the boat look out of place, particularly up close. It also is placed a little too far up in the frame so that the top is over the water. The GUI for the snowboard game is a bit plain and the wrong color/style for the game. I have a question, too: who is working on this game? Nuparu, obviously, and Takua. Anyone else?
  16. The 2006 books could be quite good as a movie - they have a good, dramatic end-of-the-world intro, followed by a journey through a nightmarish world, and then a large number of conflicts to defeat villains culminating in a fight with Vezon and Kardas. That said, for individual books, I'd have to go with...Metru Nui 5, maybe. I really liked that. Or Metru Nui 6. The issues of Voya Nui aren't good enough on their own. Edit: I've got to get Time Trap at some point.
  17. Unfortunately, I don't have anything particularly rare. I'd love to have a chrome mask and the copper masks of victory. I'm hoping to collect some eventually. I have a few orange and a few gold Vahi for some reason. I also have the disk of time. I have a few pearl gold and silver Mata masks, if those are rare. Lastly there's this solid white Rhotuka spinner with text on it and an arrow - I'm not sure what that's from. Maybe it's rare? Unfortunately, I don't have anything particularly rare as I haven't ever been a serious collector. I'd love to have a chrome mask and the copper masks of victory (I'd be willing to buy/trade for them). I'm hoping to collect some eventually. Some day I will own a gold Hau, but that's far away. Likewise, I'll shoot for a set of White Metal Krana-Kal in the future, but I don't have the funds for that sort of thing now. I have a few orange and a few gold Vahi for some reason. I also have the disk of time and the 2004 Kraakhan. I have a few pearl gold and silver Mata masks, if those are rare. Lastly there's this solid white Rhotuka spinner with text on it and an arrow - I'm not sure what that's from. Maybe it's rare? As far as I know, I don't have any prototype pieces (I've never been to any fairs and haven't taken part in any programs or competitions for them).
  18. This is what I've been thinking, but it seems like a rather drastic change, considering I used to freeze LEGO minifigures and play with BIONICLE figures in below-freezing temperatures when I was quite young. I suppose the constant strain of cold-shrink on connected parts such as clips/rods and ball/sockets would be rather great, but I'm surprised at the Technic pins, since they are under comparatively little pressure if attached conventionally. Yeah, I played with my BIONICLE figures in the snow as a kid quite a few times with no issues. I think I buried a minifigure in it once and it was fine.
  19. Although this is off-topic, might as well answer your question -- sort of. It's real water, not protowater, but it's also turned mutagenic by the radiation coming up from Karda Nui, through the hole in the giant continent left by Voya Nui's absence, and the hole in the giant robot's outer skin left by VN rocketing through it. A little confused as to why you say "they" (meaning escapees from the Pit) are in Karda Nui. I assume that's a typo; they're in the water on top of the giant robot. Karda Nui is two domes down. Although if any of them, assuming they couldn't fly, wanted, they could go down the giant waterfall and end up in Karda Nui's swamps (but they'd probably just die from the impact). Anyways, to add to all this, it's quite possible that even if Altuyet know the whole truth, she figured it wasn't worth even trying to tell fellow prisoners since they were as trapped as her, and once the Cataclysm killed her (or whatever killed her at the time) it was too late. Although, this: Sorry, I meant Mahri Nui/the waters around it.
