  1. I'm kinda interested in this. I might pick it up and start a technic vehicle collection.
  2. I wouldn't mind special releases. Like, they would come in unique (probably cardboard tubes, nut boxes) canisters, the rarer ones you'd have to buy directly from Lego.com. But that's just the collector in me.
  3. I laughed. It was a mistake for my wallet, tbqh fam. Edit: might make this my new sig.
  4. It stems from random store availability, the fact the books are getting canned, something about how even Nexo Knights is selling way better. etc. The books are getting canned? Say what? Even Nexo Knights? Nexo Knights is a brand new theme for this year. Obviously it's going to sell better even if its complete crud because it's a brand new thing. Plus all of the old Castle fans will be out gushing/modding/complaining, generating buzz. Whoops I made a mistake, it was said in this TTV interview (at the 50:00 mark) of G2's author that he doesn't know if there's gonna be any more books in the future. Take that as you will. I guess your right about Nexo Knights. Not much of a business person myself.

  6. Loved the first two episodes so far. Can't wait until July!
  7. Umarak sounded different in my imaginary playtimes.
  8. I sorta agree. TLG was banking mostly on nostalgia to help push G2 forward. But are they wrong for that? Nope. They needed people to get reinvested in the constraction after the bad taste Hero Factory left (I know there's a lot of people that liked the theme heck I liked it initially, but it's still generally disliked). Plus, they have a budget like all Lego lines do. They even have to share some it with Star Wars digures.
  9. Got all the sets. Thanks Lego for shipping them free of charge!
  10. I just love how TLG decided to put one of those sloped, vented, bricks on Gali's back.
  11. I agree. The 2015 sets look a little bit awkward and jarring next to 2016 ones. It's almost as if they were different brands all together.
  12. Can't wait to pick up all the sets up at once in a few days. They'll be a nice, objective, contrast to the 2015 sets on the shelf.
  13. As many G2 haters will tell you, the old one was smooth. That's bad, apparently. I kinda feel bad for TLG. First people want more detailed pieces that remind them of G1, but when we do get them, they dislike 'em.
  14. I got the November Lego magazine in the mail with the Tahu and Umarak. Pretty sweet.
  15. The return of hyper-detailed pieces will make Bionicle 2016 GOAT.
  16. These contests have never been rigged. Stop trying to blame other people for something that is beyond their control. So you approve of prototype parts being used for these contests for a "edgy super awesome MOC" by X person who put his/her hand on it because being invited to some VIP event that only a select few can attend to? Thus gaining a clear unfair edge? No wonder that cluster of a MOC won the villain contest then. If that was allowed I dare you to call it not rigged. I kinda agree that prototype parts shouldn't be allowed as they're only a few of them. But I wouldn't stir up anything, Anon.
  17. Angry birds is supposed to be showcased today. I guess there's still Sunday.
  18. Jorge W. Bush for Tahu and Edward Snowden as Onua. And Anita Sarkisian should be Gali.
