  1. Eh...I'll just bricklink the unique parts from these 20$ sets. I don't see myself spending that much for few exclusive stuff.
  2. Wait, did the game actually update? And if so how do you get into the AC? Yep. You have to re-play the levels.
  3. Forget MNOG. That really made me cringe when Tahu stepped on that organic bone.
  4. Might pick up the ones with the special figs in 'em. Nothing really screams 'buy me!" especially when I still have to buy the constraction sets.
  5. Really, you think so? Bionicle has always been one of the lowest-priced LEGO series, all things considered, and that hasn't changed a bit with the reboot. Out of over 250 Bionicle sets released to date, only 40 were priced higher than $20, and only ten were priced higher than $50. No Bionicle set has EVER cost more than $90 at retail. Contrast LEGO City, one of the LEGO Group's current top-selling brands, which since its launch in 2005 has had thirty sets priced at $90 or higher, and seven this year alone! Eh, for him, maybe it's expensive. Price is always a subjective topic, and while you have your facts straight, that doesn't make it less expensive to him. To me and you, it might not be so bad. But him, maybe. I was understanding the "Most unloved thing" in the title to mean most unloved by fans in general, not most unloved by the respondents individually. That's how the first post asks it anyway: "What is the thing in all of Bionicle that you think the most people disliked?" This is why I responded with "fragile joints/pieces breaking" — because it's a thing that nobody, under any circumstances, would consider a GOOD thing about Bionicle. By comparison, "the prices" are a thing some people would like, some people would dislike, and other people might be indifferent about, so it seems unlikely to me that prices are the thing that "the most people disliked". That doesn't mean that I expect everyone to be happy with the prices. But I think there are probably a significant number of fans who are. However, I can see by a bunch of the replies in this topic that start with things like "For me," or "Personally," that a lot of people have been interpreting the topic's premise as "what do YOU most dislike most about Bionicle?" That is an interesting question in its own right, but not at all the question the topic is asking. Why do you think most people buy maybe one or a few of the Toa and not the whole wave when they say they want to?

I dunno. guess it's really subjective--for someone who buys multiple sets (like me) at once, you can really tell how it stacks up.
  7. Your missing that, in this book, Ryder is adapting the story episodes from the website - and in those, Kopaka's mask isn't stolen when they fight the Skull Warriors. In that context, the lack of that scene becomes more apparent - they only had nine 90-second episodes to work with, and they opted for fitting other things in instead of an additional 'Toa gets mask stolen' scenario.I didn't forget that, that's why I'm questioning why they Included it in the set and then not in the animation. Either they decided there wasn't enough room or someone just really dropped the ball. You would think that they would have developed a lot of this stuff around the same time, and with the different limitations in mind. I know the web-isodes were made a while after the sets were designed and ready to go, but if they included the mask in the set, you'd think one of the points they specifically wanted to get across in the videos would be the masks getting stolen, otherwise why put them in the sets? I get that it adds more "collectibles" but if they weren't going to be key story elements, then they could have not included them and have had a little more budget room to add to the figures or whatever. Now I'm just blabbering
  8. A single Toa of Plasma would be overwhelmed if he(?) attempted to manipulate a star. It's the same reason Toa of Water can't control the entire ocean on Aqua Magna. Though, Toa of Plasma can create miniature stars and manipulate that. Funny enough, Toa of Magnetism should, in theory, be about to manipulate plasma as well.
  9. Finished the book this morning, and I wanted give my thoughts on it:
  10. Since we're mere hours from the release of the book, is this thread gonna be filled with spoiler hiders?
  11. I don't trust anyone with multicolored eyes.
  12. My own personal theory (though, I'm pretty sure it was said here before) is that G1 was retconned along with the rest of the DC Multiverse via Flashpoint, and thus G2 was born into the New 52. Think about it. New 52 has characters fit into a more 'realistic' (i.e. weaker) world. So far, these new incarnations of the Toa are, so far, shown to be quite a bit weaker than their Seniors.
  13. I'd say Pohatu is my favorite Toa. His basicness and color scheme, as well as his little details are unique amongst the rest.
  14. Anyone wanna take a guess on when's Ep. 13 coming out?
  15. Anyone else notice how the Toa are slowly destroying the Ancient City?
  16. Which has more sharp edges: 2006 or 2015?
  17. I'm 19 and taking online collage. Don't have to do jack with my collection.
  18. I preordered it. Though, I don't know if if I'm going to get it 'cause I might not have the funds on my card.
