  3. That Bordakh is simply amazing. The technique you used to make the paint look chipped worked REALLY well. Like many other people, I find the base a little plain. Perhaps give it a nice rock texture and wrap a vine up his leg or around his foot.
  4. Finding good 3D artists? Next to impossible....Maybe we could borrow some of the BIONICLE: Next Generation models. They have some really good ones (both models and modelers).
  5. I know they're kind of useless. The game started out as a quick proof-of-concept networking game in Sphere. Sometime I'm going to make it so you can choose the map, and perhaps even build your own maps. They actually already have a delay between spawings, it's just not very long. The crates are going to be replaced with different elements creating different types of terrain, some will do damage, some might be purely defensive, etc.
  6. Humph, no hating on Firefox. They have improved the memory thing quite a bit in recent versions actually.Yeah, I rarely get over 3GB even with Firefox, Chrome, and some other stuff running.

  8. Lightning, actually.Oh dear. I've never experienced that. It's probably related to the particle effects bug, even though Lightning doesn't use particle effects... Quick question: Apart from your primary attack and the box-spawning, do you have any other attacks? I didn't press all the buttons like I usually do when testing, so I might have missed something.Nope, just primary attack and drop boxes. Every element does damage to boxes, although the amount varies based on the speed of the attack and other effects it might have (like freezing, knockback, pushback). Ice should freeze and do 1 damage (boxes have 5 HP and players have 20).
  9. Correct. Next time I get the error I'll post it, but it says something about failing to allocate enough graphics memory. Happens almost always when Photoshop is also running, but happens occasionally, especially in 9.x, when nothing/little else is running.
  10. Oh. Weird. Well, it never happened prior to 7.0 and happens more frequently with 9.0+. I have 6GB of RAM, and I'm pretty sure my graphics card can draw textures bigger than 512x512.
  11. Yeah, that happens completely randomly using any element with particle effects. You were using fire, shadow, or plasma, right? (Speaking of plasma, the collision detection is barely implemented for it. That'll be pretty easy to fix.) Ice should do destroy boxes. I wonder why that's not working. Oh, sorry about the AI. It's.... not very bright. The game's focus is multiplayer, so I haven't really working on the AI much. OK. Thank you! Normally the game has music, which for the title screen is a very short composition a made a while back. For the fight, the Christmas Edition plays Jingle Bells and the regular one uses the Power Miners theme. The music is in the startup/sounds/ directory. I don't know why Sphere 1.6 won't load it on your computer.
  12. My sister reports that the respawning glitch happens as a Rahkshi as well. She respawned as a default fear Rahkshi.The game sometimes won't open on my computer, complaining about not enough graphic memory or something like that. It almost never works when Photoshop is open, which I can understand and deal with, but sometimes it won't work even when nothing else/little else is running. This has been happening ever since you switched to Game Maker 8.1, but with Alpha 9/9.1 it seems to have gotten worse.
  13. Darn. The good news is, that isn't because of me (it's a Sphere 1.6 bug). The bad news is, that means I can't fix it easily (IIRC, there's a workaround, but I'll have to dig around to Sphere forums for a while to find it :-/).   14. I've been diggin' Living Sacrifice a lot lately. They don't seem to be very well known, but they are amazing. Definitely check them out. Kinda groove metal/metalcore. Becoming the Archtype did O Holy Night, which was freaking awesome, even without Jason Wisdom (who left because his wife was about to have a child...).August Burns Red has a few instrumental Christmas songs.

  17. I think it could be a bit faster while still being easy to aim.If it's not supposed to be a "get out of pain free card" (which I read as "quick retreat"), what is it supposed to be used for?
  18. Even with 10 mind, I still think it's too slow.
  19. The teleporter moves too slowly, basically. I don't think it's because of lag, but really it seems to me like moving the teleporter far enough away to be useful requires enough time (like half a second or so) that an enemy would be able to strike at you before you retreat in the above scenario.
  20. Shrug. I'm highly effective with Ice. I prefer high ELM and DEX, actually.Teleporting takes too much time to be useful for that sort of thing.
  21. Well yeah, there's that. :PI don't see how that can be fixed without making ice underpowered though. Maybe make it so that once you've unfrozen, you can't be frozen again for half a second or so?

  25. Well, it will have a lot more EP.... Fragmentation does need to be nerfed a bit, I agree. ...Against bots, who aren't very effective with their long range powers. Wait for multiplayer. Definitely not true. With a really low VIT you would be really easy to kill. With really low DEX you would be too slow to catch anyone. With really low MIND you don't have enough EP to fight many people. With really low ELM your EP recharges very slowly.Note that I didn't mention STR. That's because I think STR really is basically worthless most of the time, except for Rahkshi who benefit from it and people who love melee combat.
