  1. Huh. A faked death. And apparently he doesn't want to go to the ocean. Interesting.
  2. I still say cook him. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that Akino still cares for the evil fish.
  3. Huh. Wonder how that happened. Maybe I overheard the conversation and did it. Though I have a feeling that's not actually what happened. In any case, justice is served. In fact, properly prepared, I think the fish's body can be served as well.
  4. Akino tries to get revenge by drowning the fish. Calling it right now.
  5. [We just ran out of comment space again.]

We were continuing our voyage since our ship was stolen. In other words, we are going to sail the seas, find treasure, avoid or defeat rival pirates or the Royal Navy, and explore the world...using this tiny boat.

Wait, I got another gadget that can help us! I need paper, a pencil, and enough scrap metal to choke that kraken coming right for us!

      I have a pen...will that help?

  6. I was 50-50 on whether you'd kill him or not. It's cool how the story all ties in together, with Leraku being in this general area beforehand and such. As for how Akino even got his floaties, my only guess is that Matoran are physically stronger than humans enough that he could awkwardly hop around in the cement. Which would explain how he was already in it beforehand when he got to the dock.
  7. Haven't been in the G2 discussion very much, save for maybe a few posts here and there. Last one was weeks ago at least. So maybe that's why I haven't seen any of this "elitism" or the idea that Lego owes us. I certainly don't have the idea that they do. But if they turn out something that sucks, like, say, their recent story animations, we have the right to come out and say that it plain sucks.
  8. So that's what the cement was for... The jump from last comic to this one wasn't too sudden at all. I would have actually thought the pace was a bit too slow if there had been another one in between. Should have known he'd trick Akino into killing himself...the sheer evil of that fish. It's astounding. It was a good joke though. The comic managed to be funny and somewhat shocking at the same time.
  9. This comic was awesome. Seriously awesome. It had such a perfect buildup to that ending, which was absolutely hilarious. I agree on Age of Ultron being just "alright", actually. It was good. But not as good as I'd hoped.
  10. Bionicle 2015 has turned out an amazing set lineup that is far beyond anything Hero Factory has ever produced. It's certainly given us the best Toa wave in Bionicle in general. No super amazing titan or vehicle sets yet, but on the standard level, it has turned out truly great sets. The story...it's too early to tell. At the moment I'd rank Bionicle 2015 and Hero Factory's stories as equal. That is actually extremely sad, considering how good the original Bionicle's story was. Now, which do I prefer overall? Bionicle 2015. Equal story, better sets, the edge goes to Bionicle.
  11. Well, there's something it was certainly a great idea to build... Huh. Forgot about Jontor entirely. At least I could still recognize him when I saw him. Nidhiki's explanation to Ghutan was funny, as others have said.
  12. Aw. That's actually really sad. The fish really isn't a very nice person at all.
  13. Just saw Avengers 2. It wasn't quite as good as I was hoping, but it was good.

      I'm seeing it tomorrow. I can't wait!

  14. ...Who is Aniko, and is there any way to rephrase this so it makes sense? I believe he meant Akino... I think what he meant was: If we give Akino power armor he will get money, by using his newly taught mafia skills... Ah, thank you. Now it sort of makes sense. Sort of.
  15. Normally I get the Mafia lingo, but in this case, "clip" and "heavy" did require the translation, so thanks for that. This one was funny. I like the calm refusal to give the money, reminds me of what I did a few weeks ago (though this one was with a hat, not money). The poses and facial expressions were a great touch. I know you do that all the time, but I noticed the ones here more specifically because they resemble poses I use in real life. Didn't use them in the situation I just mentioned, but still. This also made me realize that everyone in these comics probably weighs exactly the same due to the body type and all that. Unless someone has a really heavy mask or something. ...Who is Aniko, and is there any way to rephrase this so it makes sense?
  16. Heh. Yeah, like I said in the other topic, you really want to pay attention when watching these.
  17. Huh. So the fish is a lot more aggressive than I thought. At least he's talking again. Though this comic makes me wonder how anyone ever thought Akino would kill Soran.
  18. I did try to do that, but I never thought of (or figured out how to for that matter) actually indicating motion in the picture. I kinda thought the pose would lead people to assume he was walking instead. Here's that scene. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=If4AfGHHZig
  19. Despised it. I listened to it expecting it to be funny and stupid. Instead it was just stupid.
  20. Aw. Comic making (or anything really) isn't very fun when sick. I guess that's why this one wasn't as funny as usual. It does show that it wasn't Mal's dark aura silencing the fish though...hmm. And for some reason, I still think of him as Adriano Marcello Emilio II instead of Swimmy 2.0.
  21. You'd like me to do that? Well, it's certainly a possibility, but I have something of a bad history with drawing requests. The inspiration just doesn't strike me the same way. That being said, I do intend to (EVENTUALLY) draw the entire cast of AOE. If you have an AOE character you'd like to suggest, that'd be more likely to come through. At some point I might draw Que regardless, but I don't quite have plans for that at the moment. Hmm, I never actually tried to add anything to suggest that Lockdown was moving his leg. Maybe I should have, though the exact motion he was doing is a bit hard to convey with motion lines, and it was far too slow of a movement to be given a smudge/blur effect. Any ideas on how I could do that next time I draw someone in motion? Those aren't actually turbines, they're grinders. It's a big hole going straight through his chest and all the way to his back. Viewed dead on, you can look right through him. He messed with the computers so he could design his own body in the movie, and the hole was actually a countermeasure for Optimus' sword, which he destroyed by intentionally shoving into his own chest. It is made of different sections though, and they are indeed on different stages of their cycle. Some do spin in different directions, as you seem to have noticed. The face is definitely a bit messed up, I apologize for that. There are so many lines on his face, that even with a fully sharpened pencil they ended up that close together and smudged. Thankfully it didn't get to the point where you can't make out what the parts of his face are, or what his expression is. Preserving the right look in his eyes was my main goal drawing his face, and that actually took seven times re-drawing his eyes. That's what made him so hard to draw. My method is to create an outline first (thus preserving proportions no matter how many details are put in), then draw the big chunks, then fill in the spaces between them. Galvatron has so many tubes and wires, and so few solid panels, that he took hours to draw. The boundaries between his limbs and his torso are also not nearly as defined as those on, say, Optimus, so those were really hard to put together. Yeah, I'm definitely expendable now, you hit the nail on the head! But it's all right, I drew Optimus and Grimlock first. I think they have my back. Thanks, all of you.
  22. As most of you probably know at this point, I like to draw Transformers. Optimus Prime, Grimlock, Lockdown...anyone I decide to draw really. I do remember getting comments about the Lockdown drawing not being as detailed as Optimus or Grimlock. Well, that's certainly true. The reason for that, though, is that he simply doesn't have as much detail on his body in the movie as those two have. Here's a guy who does. This guy was so hard to draw, at this point I am convinced he's so evil that he refuses to cooperate with any attempt to draw him. So here is Optimus Prime's mortal enemy, a force of evil that never quits, never gives up, even when given a hole in his chest, losing an arm and a chunk of his face, and finally losing his head altogether, thus having to spend four years as a disembodied, barely living head until he could acquire a new body. Galvatron.
  23. Aw. I think he's mad about his current situation.
  24. This is incredibly awesome. It's been a while since I've seen a movie based stopmotion that was half decent, but this one blows all the ones I've seen (even the good ones) out of the water.
