  1. GM IC 78 EAST "My ankles already have cuffs on them. You'll have to carry me anyway, unless you expect me to crawl to my cell." GM NPC ROCKA "Enough!" Rocka said. "There is no evidence of mind control here. Vex, stand down. I repeat, stand down." OOC: Rocka is still in the ship. GM NPC FORTIS Fortis drew his grappling hook, but made no further moves. GM NPC BULK "You're welcome." Bulk said as he the levitation unit shut down. He grabbed it and began walking back to the Astral. GM NPC ZIB "Neither of them, really. You could cuff Var over shoving Wolfe around, but that's not really a crime." OOC: No, I just got distracted. GM NPC SURGE Surge blocked one of the blade arms with his broken sword, and tried to send electricity down it again. Meanwhile, Marrow's other blade arm would encounter no resistance from Surge's already ruined arm, cutting a slash into his shoulder. GM NPC STORMER "Nex, we do have a way to track Traferous' location," Stormer said, glaring at Zib. "The dimensional signature." GM NPC NEX Nex unglued his eyes from the video. "Uh...yeah...that." He pulled it up. "It's gone." GM NPC STORMER "Out of range?" GM NPC NEX "No, let me back this up. I had it running the whole time...it approaches Mechron...and then implodes. Some dimensional interference. Ripped a few ship's weapons off course."
  2. It counts - any poor decisions or missed opportunities. (If you want to make MoCs or concept art of the sets that could have been, that would be an acceptable entry, or you might have a different angle on it. ) Well I was thinking MOCs because I already have a good start on them. http://www.us.lego.c...325061a?index=2 All you need is a topic and a link to this blog entry. It's possible that you could just put that link in a topic, but it would be better if that gallery allowed you to link/host pictures of individual MoCs, as that would make for a better topic.
  3. GM IC 78 EAST "My arm's fixed."
  4. GM NPC ZIB Zib rolled the footage. "If that is what they are claiming, they are both wrong. Neither attacked the other. Var made an attack on a veteran named Wolfe, though, as well as Traferous, so he's not perfectly innocent." GM NPC BULK Bulk picked up Jet as gently as he could.
  5. GM NPC ZIB Zib addressed Jade first. "If he went to Mechron like he said he said he would, he's dead - there's a huge fleet in there destroying his organization. If he didn't, I don't exactly know where he went." Edited the profile. Wasn't sure where to put the charging station though. Next up I need to go through and submit edits for character profiles, and then submit my first faction. Profile changes approved. GM IC DR. LIE "I don't heal up that quickly," he said. "It's only really been a few hours. Just give it a try - they are out of alignment due to being hit, Traferous and his nonsense." GM IC 78 EAST 78 tested her new arm, wondering if she would be moved to a cell soon.
  6. I vote for Ghidora to be lynched and ToaTimeLord to become Toa.
  7. GM NPC ZIB "Why would you want that?" Zib said to Gorn. "And I can't give that out - that's a violation of privacy." Turning to Helen, he shook his head. "I'm not sending any Heroes into that mess," indicating the fleet on Nex's screen. GM NPC NEX Nex was looking out over the fleet that was blowing up an - innocent civilian organization hangar deck? He shook his head as the feed blacked out to the Transportation Federation logo and replayed again. "The last few seconds of footage show an explosion near the back of the fleet," he told Zib. "But that's not enough to confirm his death, or that he even went there."
  8. OOC: That I did. I have to go back and steal the context, yarr. OOC: Not as part of standard equipment. I'd be okay with it as part of Quark's ship, as long as it's in the ship's profile.
  9. I'm Gathering - I need a better Resource.
  10. I'll just put this in just for formalities: GM FACTION PROFILE Name: The Transportation Federation Position/Moral Alignment: This faction has a positive opinion of Hero Factory and will gladly work with them. The crimes of their leader, should they be revealed, will make that position untenable. They resent the Brain Master and the Galactic Conspiracy, due to harrassment those two other factions have posed. Characters involved: Traferous, 78, Dr. Lie, Fravi, (other PC characters), civilian NPCs Base/Resources: Large main base w/hangars and scientific area, standard offices and quarters for ship captains. Traferous' ship. Largely reliant on Traferous and Hero Factory for defense and weapons - have a fleet of cargo ships with FTL capabilities. Laser grids on the floors are being rolled out on the fleet to fight brain attacks. WIN CONDITIONS: 1. Defeat of the Conspiracy and the Brain Master (by them or Hero Factory) before Traferous' identity is revealed. 2. Traferous' death. 3. Successful Alliance with Hero Factory. LOSS CONDITIONS: 1. Defamation (reveal of Traferous' identity) - This splits the interests of the faction (the Federation) away from Traferous (the villain), leaving them helpless. 2. Death of leadership other than Traferous - Slaughtering the board turns this into an openly villainous faction, scattering the captains and leaving the faction powerless. 3. Destruction of the Faction 1/3 VILLAIN ENEMY FACTIONS DESTROYED.
  11. GM NPC VON NEBULA (ASTRAL) The ghost had seen enough on the bridge; he was furious. Traferous, that coward, had run off to rescue his cute little civilian cradle and had left everyone else behind. He would be too late, too, thanks to the Heroes. Fuming, he floated off to the holding cells. GM IC FRAVI Fravi saw an angry ghost in front of her, and shrank back in her cell. "What's going on?" GM NPC VON NEBULA (TALKING TO FRAVI WITHIN NIGHT STALKER'S EARSHOT) "Traferous abandoned you," Von Nebula said. "He left to save his puny civilians, leaving both of you behind." GM NPC STORMER "Hey Von Nebula," Stormer said, grinning at his camera. "Shut up before I send a bunch of Heroes down to vaporize you." GM IC TRAFEROUS (AIRBORNE)/ TRANSPORTATION FEDERATION/??? & FLEET (MECHRON) Traferous approached Mechron city. His fuel tank was so low it wasn't even close to funny. The hull of his ship was battered and burned. He was low enough on quaza and anti-quaza to make this whole thing laughable. But he did not care. He simply absorbed the ship into his form, leaving the ship with no noticeable pilot except for some matter coating the inside of the ruined ship. A couple of eyes stared out of the windshield. Two Kyptonium and a few lasers formed on the outside of the ship's hull. A couple of missiles formed on the bottom. And then he opened fire on the fleet. It was pathetic. One ship exploded from the missiles, raining minor damage on one of its cousins. Some neighboring ships lost some weapons to the lasers and blasters, but the damage was so minor that some might have wondered if he even should have bothered. Indeed, only a few ships turned around to fire on the cargo ship in their midst, exploding it to pieces as it hurtled forward. The pain was too much, and with a last force of will the shapeshifter assumed his normal form as his ship crashed, pulling the last bit of matter out of his pocket dimension in a huge burst of mental pain as his body was forcibly ripped apart, the pocket dimension imploding, sending his thought processes into tiny fragments of energy that dissipated rapidly until they no longer existed. Thus, the being known as Traferous Diaphanous died, the way he had began: an afterthought. * * * Far in front of that, the being known as Ethan watched the hangar decks of the Transportation Federation collapse. The fact that his old enemy had died was enough to put a weak smile on his face. Then he realized that the key to solving Mene Vantal's disappearance, if there ever was a chance, had likely died with him. He gritted his teeth.
  12. The orginal Weekend Whip and Spinnin' Out In Color. After the Blackout and Ninja Roll tie in second.
  13. Approved. Need to actually look at them MoCs more often.
  14. But would that really be a BAD thing? Yes for the Chima serious had a nice little plot; some of the most variety of parts in one LEGO line; and had influence over the CCBS by introducing new parts that the Bionicle reboot uses now. So yes Chima was a nice serious while it lasted. What you're saying is that Chima is not as bad as Galidor. At least they didn't ride a bike down a hill to trigger an alien invasion. Instead, they chucked magic donuts into a hole to trigger an alien invasion, and raced bikes around a track to get a special magic donut that was more powerful than the other magic donuts. And one bike rider took all of the special magic donuts for himself, while the aliens got more powerful because nobody was paying attention.
  15. Does the wyvern have enough strength to fly the two around? I'm thinking he will be approved either way, but I want to be sure. Also, curiosity question: could a psionic character also bind with this dragon character or challenge the bond between the two? I'd like to know your view on this in the rare case we end up with one in here. (I'm not going to be making or revealing one for reasons: the closest I got to one was the lady on Antropolis that was killed before I could reveal her.) RIP Traferous 2016: OP enough to not die, but not OP enough to escape. OOC: So this is cannon now? Brilliant. He shouldn't have ended any other way. OOC: Let me think on this. I may decide to work it in.
  16. RIP Traferous 2016: OP enough to not die, but not OP enough to escape. OOC: While I can understand where you're coming from, and you're clearly just as frustrated as the rest of us, I don't see how any of what you've said justifies deliberately maltreating your players, intentionally going well beyond the limits outlined in your already-ridiculously-OP character's profile, and repeatedly breaking your own rules. There were plenty of ways you could've handled this that didn't involve railroading pretty much your entire playerbase into letting your character escape off to some battle we have no interest of investment in, just so you can give him a fancier sendoff. OOC: It's not a fancier sendoff, it's getting rid of him. I don't want Traferous to die. But it's clear that letting him live is a terrible idea. Further, while getting Traferous out of there is an injustice to everyone who fought against him, letting the battle continue endlessly is an injustice to all of the other players, forcing the Heroes to lose a mission they didn't even get to play. That's not fair. And I tried not to railroad. There are a whole lot worse ways this could have gone down - having Traferous board Quark's ship and kill a bunch of other characters trying to get to his stupid battle. I thought of crashing the ship he was driving into the Gunship and swimming to the other one, but then we'd end up back at square one. And yes, I should have played the end of this one differently, for reasons everyone has told me about. Clearly this was a mistake. OOC: Also, I have to issue my second apology for the day: OOC: However, that can be edited out, I suppose. I should not have made assumptions.
  17. Elemental Monster fight. No chance to win here.
  18. How about "Tournament Master Pahrak"?
  19. OOC: They are being sped away from. OOC: Okay, I'm sorry, but it's rant time. We've tried to be patient. We've tried to be reasonable. We've done our best to ignore the fact that Traferous is continuing to fight despite your multiple assurances that he was done. We've tried to reply fairly, even though Traferous not only has eyes in the back of his head, but has been magically teleporting from one end of the ship to another, manipulating the controls and fixing holes and shooting at people and dodging attacks simultaneously in the space of single posts. We're attempted to respond reasonably even when this simple cargo ship that's been flooded, partially frozen, set on fire, shot full of holes, and had its engines destroyed multiple times, has been maneuvering like some kind of stunt plane. But I think I speak for everyone here when I say it's immensely frustrating when, after everything we've done, you're still no-selling and disregarding absolutely everything we've done, taken liberties with realism that you'd never let any of us get away with, and had Traferous escape, all in favour of giving your character the death you want him to. OOC: I don't care at this point. If I throw him in prison camp, a remote possibility exists that he could break out of whatever he gets put into, kills a bunch of other characters, and cause another cycle. It is clear that making him the way that I did was a mistake, but I have to end this now. Otherwise it just gets thrown into another cycle. We could play it out so that Traferous loses the ship, tries to get the other one, finally runs out of mass and energy and ends up captured or blown up somehow and not actually dead, AGAIN. But there comes a point where this becomes stupid, even stupider than Traferous patching the holes in his ship and busting his but out of there. And we are so far past that point I want to bang my head on my desk in agony. I'm sending Traferous to ###### before this RPG goes to ######. And yes, it will go to ####### because if this goes on for much longer that fleet I mentioned earlier will probably show up in town to go after Traferous because revenge and because the Heroes look like a good target too. This creates yet another battle, which basically amounts to me raining death on everybody. Which is an unacceptable penalty for my character's existence, given that this is my fault. And while I feel like I could make an argument about why that ship isn't blown to shreds at this point, the bottom line is this: I'm pulling an audible to stop this from continuing further, wasting more time, and preventing us from getting to the legit RPG mission. Objections are still allowed. GM NPC FORTIS Fortis sighed. "Rocka, run a scan on Striker and that villain, see if you notice any mental alterations." GM NPC ROCKA Rocka ran the scan. "I don't notice anything out of the ordinary..."
  20. I can tell you the number of players: 29. (unless it turns out to be reeeeaaaallly unpopular for some reason)
  21. GM NPC FORTIS "That would be me," said Fortis, stepping up. "You can start with how you came to look exactly like Mr. Makuro himself."
  22. GM NPC ROCKA Rocka shrugged. "We'll see what happens when he gets here. I want to hear his side of the story...but I'm here to keep you two from killing each other."
  23. GM IC TRAFEROUS Traferous regenerated the windshield and threw it into FTL mode, regenerating the back of his ship as soon as Saracen was through. Flames covered the metal in a terrifying display as the thing broke atmosphere, and the meter warned him the engines were overheating and that the cabin pressure was dangerously low, but he ignored it. This cargo ship was designed for stealth, but Traferous had thrown in this trick so he wouldn't be helpless. Now all of his fleet had that capability thanks to the brain attack, but whatever. Let the Heroes follow me. GM IC THE TRANSPORTATION FEDERATION Traferous' second-in-command fled for her life. Behind her, the hangar decks were being sheared off and exploded under heavy fire, mechanical arms crashing down and fuel tanks exploding.
