  1. IC: Only Bay Passage"Of course," Tyrana replied, whispering still so as to be only heard by Mala and Krokk. "Always apprehend a suspect before any questions."Her eyes were fixed on Rayhoun, seemingly watching every movement he made. One of her claws twitched, awaiting to whip out the blade it was holding onto if nescessary. She pushed the instruments aside with her foot and moved forward just a little. Once he was properly taken dealt with, they could question him.
  2. IC: Only Bay PassageTyrana came to a halt after hearing this. She grinned, but the expression was hidden behind her equipment. If there was someone here who posed a threat to the group, they would surely regret that descision. Lowering her things, the former officer gripped the hilt of her sword. "Let's see what the possible troublemaker wants." she whispered harshly, eyes glaring at the Toa on the crate. IC: Camp BAlthough shocked over the nature of these trees, Hios found himself trapped in place by the tree's roots right away. He did not panic, though, for he knew doing so would only make this worse. Evidently from his attempt at using his powers, the Toa of Plant Life thought it would be rather pointless to use them here. And he most certainly did not want to cut the plant matter he so dearly cared about.Hios was, and quite literally too, stuck. So he waved a hand for another at the camp to help free him.
  3. Thanks. Edited them into the profile. So, is there anywhere or anything interesting currently that I might have my character jump into?
  4. No. They would be natural wings of feathers and bone. Like bird wings.
  5. It's mainly for appearance. Specifically, it would be an addition of wings.
  6. I was wondering if I could make a small addition to my character's profile before I enter him into the game. Would that be alright?
  7. IC: Path from A to Only Bay PassageTyrana found it a little easier walking back to the bay, too, as there were not as much plants blocking her way like off-path. Though, she did have trouble moving while carrying the weight of supplies in her hands and arms, especially as they sometimes blocked her vision. Normally the shark-like officer would have had lesser beings do this work, but times had changed for her now.Signing, Tyrana continued stepping down the narrow road behing the Skakdi, trying to keep her footing while balancing the equipment she held. IC: Camp BHios ignored the Toa's first few comments, trying to comprehend why he thought this."Odd," he said. "They answered to my call to move back on the path here."Curious, the Toa of the Green slowly placed his free hand on the trunk of a tree, pressing his palm against the rough bark, and summoned his powers to control plants. Will you move for me? Hios thought, not expecting a reply from the tree at all.
  8. IC: Camp A Tyrana stepped out of the trailer, looking around the camp and at the others in it. "To the bay. That will be the best place for this type of building." she said to the three, hefting the instruments that she carried.
  9. IC: Camp A "Very well," Tyrana said, sheathing her sword and reaching out for supplies and equipment. She snatched anything that looked like it would be useful in constructing a boat, gathering them in her arms. "Let's get moving, then."
  10. IC: Camp A Tyrana watched as Krokk and Mala gathered supplies, her hand still clutched tightly on her blade at her side. "What are the others outside up to?" she asked. IC: Camp B The subject of cutting through the plants to make way woke Hios from his daydreaming. He turned and look at Kioulp, a puzzled and slightly upset look on his mask. "We do not have to sacrifice the lives of these plants. They live, they grow, they prosper here. It should be a crime to kill them, even if they are quickly regenerated after being hacked through."Hios proceeded to walk over to the edge of trees and foliage of the jungle, his staff tapping the ground as he did so. "Simply ask them to move for us." he said, prepared to use his powers to open the way up if he needed to to.
  11. Name: ArkethGender: Assumed to be maleSpecies: Unknown, quite possibly a unique beingAppearance: Arketh resembles a large skeleton composed of some durable material colored dark grey-brown. His face is skull-like and bears no mask. He seems to almost glide above the ground by the way he moves. A myriad of lengthy strips of black cloth are attached to his bones, which appear to be part of some ragged, flowing cloak with draping sleeves. On his back are a pair of large bird-like wings that go with his vulture-like neck. When not used for show or flight, he can fold them up so well and hide them beneath the cloth of his robe that it almost appears like he does not have them. There is no sign of any organic material on his bones. Arketh looks almost exactly like this. Kanohi: NonePowers: Arketh has the power to open intradimensional gates, an ability identical to the Dark Hunter Vanisher, though he cannot travel as far. He can open portals anywhere only within his surrounding area and step through them to travel to a desired location as if using a door, and use them as limited storage to hold onto trapped energy-based attacks, then release them on another. He also seems to be able to attack others’ minds in the form of powerful mental blasts. Weapons: The cloth covering his hands can be used to blast concentrated, concussive bursts/beams of a dust-like substance at targets. The strips of cloth on his body can be used as appendages to wrap/feel around, handle, or entangle an object or foe.Implants: NonePersonality: Speaking in a whispery, eerie voice that echoes around, Arketh is a dark individual. He gives off an alien presence to those around, and takes delight in frightening others, even to death. He enjoys low lit areas, being accustomed to the dark and cold. Arketh also hates bright, concentrated light.Alignment: NeutralBio: According to Arketh, he originates from Spherus Magna, living there for quite a long time. He has been seen at least once around the battlefields of the Core War, shuffling among the inert bodies, though he has not elaborated on what he has done during the events after the Shattering or Mata Nui’s return. When the Techna Nui was in the process of creation, Arketh watched, and followed on board once it was completed, wishing to visit other worlds for reasons he has not yet revealed. Although he hasn’t committed himself to a side of the Hacker-Techna conflict, he seems to mostly side with the Toa Techna, but only for the journey’s continuation.
  12. IC: Camp A Tyrana whirled at this, her blade raised. She glared at the two ghost-like Skakdi before her and Kroghun. Already she was analyzing the pair, noting their equipment, armor coloring (which might suggest their powers), and anything else useful in a conflict. "You think so?" the shark-like women snarled. "We need equipment -- and allies. Do either of you have experience with sea craft, or know of anyone who does?" IC: Camp BHios surveyed the camp with his blue eyes, looking for someone in charge or a supervisor. He needed to know if anything was going on that he could be of some use with.
  13. IC: Toothy BaneGreel nodded, waving his hand and silently placing the weaponry on the ground for Myr to prepare.
  14. IC: Toothy Bane Traveling a little closer allowed them to see below. He was right -- Caretaker were certainly present on Haven Cove. Looking over at the sea, Greel saw the clipper sailing toward the island. Good, at this height, Klax and Myr could incapacitate the robots with ease and without notice. And while that happened, Rynekk and Sarkan and the rest of his group could take care of the crew. "Our prey is coming," he whispered. "Just wait for the Shepherd to emerge and after he speaks. Then, once the Vortixx and Nostala act, destroy the machines."
  15. OOC: This is still open? Odd... but great!IC: ShadowtangleHexxon continued siphoning strength and energy slowly from the Patronage Toa. From here, the battle sounded as if it was intensifying. Perhaps he could subtly affect the minds of their opponents....Deciding to add to the din the forest was creating from Okena's attack, Hexxon reached out mentally to the mind of Rastaque, and projected noise identical to the snapping and bending and creaking the plant matter all around them was making. Not only was it a stealthy attack, but it would also greatly distract the Toa of Air from acting against the compressing foliage. IC: Shadowtangle/Toothy BaneDue to Greel's cautiousness, none of the equipment of Myr was harmed. And at the speed they moved at, the group arrived at a forrested section of Toothy Bane. The ground was more even here, and the beach was not too far -- if they hurried."Get ready, Myr, to use your powers. You'll need to crush Caretakers as fast as you can," he said. Then he had Rocky push forward. They would be arriving at a spot good near the beach soon. Hopefully Rynekk's group is in place under the sea, because we're about to begin the liberation.IC: Toothy Bane/Haven Cove Vertan and Reptak stood among the grey rocks of the area east of the mountains. It was the same place they passed when he delievered Reya to his masters.Already the Skakdi could see Caretakers roaming the Cove. His enemy was going to be delievered! No, he's mine! Vertan thought, quietly creeping to the white sands, but hidden by boulders.
  16. You're welcome to use my characters, Parugi.Even though I been here in this RPG for a small period of time, it was fun. I had a great time playing with everyone, and I'm glad I joined when I did.See you all in the forum!
  17. I want to say that's it's been awesome RPGing with you all. I think we made a great story to go back and read.I'm glad to have been here to the end. This has been my favorite RPG so far to play, and it's been a fun three months. Hopefully we can pick up from there next time. So, until then, I say farewell to the game, and to the Wolves of Liberty.
  18. IC: ShadowtangleAs Rocky ran through the twilight of Shadowtangle, Greel reflected on his time here. Before arriving, he had been a lone wanderer, traveling from place to place just watching the world work. His journeys were halted when the Shepherds of Flesh entered his life and herded him into the rest of their flocks of slaves. That was where the fun began. So unlike the outside Universe as he had told Nostala and Kairan, Greel had found delight in these games; the rush of battle, the victory over enemies by outsmarting them. But over time, the stress the island seemed to radiate had worn down these feelings, resulting in fights being too dangerous to see as fun. Ever since the annoyance of Suicavel, the appearance of Jontan and his needle-wielding friend, and other threats he felt the fear the place projected. He wasn't liking it. But still, if he didn't come here, if he didn't survive those conflicts, he would never have met all his comrades -- his friends. Not many of those prior to his arrival here. Greel wouldn't have discovered Rocky, whose mane he delicately petted. He was such a good pet, a good friend. With one swift hand motion, he tore off the reins of plant matter from Rocky's mouth. He didn't deserve these anymore. Greel could trust his cat to act nice without pain. After each day on this isle, he had always reminded himself that he was still alive, and that the progress of survival was successful. Won't be needing to say that much longer. Indeed, for the path and mission ahead was either life or death, which was coming close. One that he would share with all his friends. He wished all those who didn't make it were here with them, to fight for their freedom. This isn't the end. We made it this far and can surely finish off the threat of the slavers. One day we may become legends in history, our names carved into stone with all the other heros. Or we might end up as whispers and myths of the mad if we fail. But that won't happen. We fight to the end, succeed where others lost. We won't fail, I know it. Together, united we stand, we rush onto the battlefield to win.
  19. IC: ShadowtangleHexxon didn't need to worry about Air detection where he was. For one, it would be difficult to find someone in such a crowded place with all the trees and plants. Another reason, he was almost tall enough to be a small tree, and he was standing close to one anyway, so he might as well felt like a part of it. He was far enough from the explosives, and the trees had protected him somewhat. Even if he was standing near the pair, the smoke did not keep him from acting or sensing them. His mental powers guided him, letting him know the exact positions of Jontan and Rastaque. Instead of a mental attack, however, Hexxon turned his Avsa on Jontan, draining his energy and strength slowly, so not as make the absorption noticeable. It was a weaker type, so that must have helped to some degree. He would refrain from using his powers further until the time was right. He didn't want to give away the element of surprise yet. IC: Yawning Sunder"Whoever it was is gone now, Myr," Greel said, seeing no one up ahead. He continued to rush to the jungle. The bridge across the canyon was strong enough to last their journey over it.IC: ShadowtangleThe two Skakdi hurried through the jungle, moving along its eatern side to the beach.
  20. IC: ShadowtangleHexxon sensed the minds of Rastaque and Jontan enter the area. Well, looks like it's time for 'Kill a Toa Patronage' for us. Using his Kualsi, he vanished from the spot, leaving Okena alone. Hexxon changed his position, going up and behind their prey, far enough so that neither noticed. He was close enough to still detect the minds of Jontan, Rastaque, and Okena. Once he stopped, he reached out to a cluster of foliage, lightly brushing against a single leaf with his finger. So gentle was his touch that it barely quivered. This allowed Okena to sense his position, so that he knew his partner wasn't next to him anymore, and that he was ready. Stirring up his powers, the telepathic being prepared for the fight, ready to focus it on one of the moving enemies ahead. IC: Parched WastesThe Yawning Sunder lay ahead of the group. Greel had Rocky increase speed to get there faster, fast enough for the others to follow. The metallic weaponry of Myr seemed to be racing the Rahi and rider, gliding telekinetically alongside them. IC: Yawning SunderBoth Skakdi had made it to Yawning Sunder. Leaving the eastern tip of Ashring meant Vertan could no longer use its heat to create a thermal updraft, so that left him running on foot while Reptak flew overhead. He rushed across a bride, so fast it shook dangerously under his weight as he moved hastily on it. The forest was up ahead; just a little more hurrying would take them there...
  21. IC: Parched WastesGreel continued to march with his group into the distance. Once they had gotten far enough, they would turn around and head for the mountains. Or we could just turn around now..."To the Cove," he announced to his group, already moving in that direction.IC: AshringBack in Ashring, Vertan had amussed himself by humming a tune and thinking of the many was he could break his enemies. Reptak had took to planning out some of his own ideas, etching into the volcanic rock some notes, and sometimes rubbing the words out with his hand.Several times throughout the seemingly eternal night, the red Skakdi glanced up at the map to check up on the black marker, making sure it was where it was. Now he looked again, and his eyes seemed to bulge in anger, nearly popping out of his skull."My prey! Levacius! The Demon Toa -- his marker is gone!" Vertan roared, a large claw pointed at the image overhead. The marker's dissapearance meant only one thing: someone had captured the Toa.They have robbed me of my chance to obliterate my enemy! That means they must be off to the beach -- the pick up point! Not about to let someone walk away with his Toa, Vertan sped off south, to the Sunder, using the intense heat from all around to levitate above the ground. Reptak crumbled to his cloud form and followed.IC: ShadowtangleHexxon slowed down the new path and closed his eyes. His mind probed the area, searching out for the ones Okena had found. To conserve energy, he performed a quick, effective mental search of one of the beings' minds. The Toa of Psionics smiled, opening his eyes. "Not the Patronage Toa, but others,'' he said to his partner. "You were right -- something big is about to happen. I'll elaborate on that as we go... "He saw Okena disappear, but still felt his mind next to him. So he felt the need to hide in this place? Well, maybe that was for some reason. Hexxon activaded his powers again, cloaking his presence to all watching, allowing him to move around unnoticed by others.
  22. IC: Wasponax: Gynel:Wasponax would have fashioned himself a smile if he had a solid form at the moment. The search was over, but the mission was not near complete. How would they acuire the Rose without attracting the Feranaki's attention, and escape without notice of the infected creatures?
  23. IC: Parched WastesGreel nodded. "Yes, the Vortixx and her Muaka, Kono, Myr, Rocky and I will search around here. You, Orssa, Elynirus, and Desiana will head for Shadowtangle," he looked to the east, where Rynekk group would be. "Rynekk, Sarkan, Doru, Zyrata, and those two new beings are off to the eastern sea."Then he followed the rest on Rocky's back, carrying Myr's euipment telekinetically. Let's just hope this works...
  24. IC: Hexxon: North District/The Barrens:While flying above the Searcher, both Hexxon and Anar spotted two beings floating over the Construct. One just vanished, and the other seemed to have been attacked. Perhaps he could see what was going on.Anar flapped his wings once more and headed down to Brother, carrying Hexxon on his back to meet with the Rahkshi.IC: Wasponax: Gynel:Wasponax called for his componets as the floor disappeared and buzzed down with his partners. What was below, he wondered?
  25. IC: Hexxon: North District/The Barrens: Hexxon watched the action from atop Anar, both of which were intangible, made so to follow faster (teleporting also helped). The Construct seemed to be just planted on the snowy ground, possibly up to something. It had a few others by it, one having just released a great amount of force, which had shaken the two.Deciding to investigate, Hexxon and his dragon drifted over to where the Searcher was, staying high above in case it decided to act.
