  2. Character Name: ReyaSpecies: ToaGender: FemaleAppearance: Here (built by Brickeens) Reya chose to have a horrifying appearance to frighten her enemies.Powers: Elemental Powers of Water, shielded mind, and limited night vision.Weapons/Equipment: Mask of Biomechanics. She once wielded a silvery whip, but it was later confiscated. Her left wrist is fitted with long barbs and the spikes coating her armor can be used as a weapon.Bio: The Toa named Reya is a completely mysterious person. Before being captured, she was a bounty hunter, working for whoever paid the most. And so, Reya is intelligent, agile, and sneaky. From constantly working in the dark, she has developed limited night vision.A former client of hers - who she had betrayed for treasure - paid the Shepherds to ambush her. Reya was captured by the Shepherds during the theft of a priceless artifact. She now hopes to escape the island and resume her work. If help is needed, then she will gladly ally herself to find a way out. Character Name: GreelSpecies: UnknownGender: MaleAppearance: Greel shares a handful of similarities with the appearance of a Toa, though everything else about him is considerably different. His body has a higher ratio of organic components, which is protected by a bio-metallic shell, as well as dark teal armor plating. His face features two red, circular eyes and a mouth shaped like the mouth piece on a Noble Huna, as well as no magnetic attraction, preventing him from physically wearing Kanohi. Greel is clad in fewer plates of armor than a Toa, and wears a dark, full-length jacket over it, along with a pair of black boots and a wide-brimmed hat.Powers: Greel has great mental capacity, enabling him powerful telekinetic abilities.Weapons/Equipment: An artificial Rhotuka device affixed to the wrist of his right arm. Its power generates a reddish nimbus around those it strikes, which acts as a shield by absorbing the forces of blows, before dissipating. He also carries two blades, one functioning as a machete and the other a dagger taken from fellow Wolves member Rynekk during a struggle between Rocky the Rock Lion.Bio: Earlier in life, Greel traversed the Universe as a loner in self-exile from his homeland, as he disliked the draconian laws established by the government there. He acted as sort of a heroic figure on numerous islands, but with his own self-righteous rules. During his time on Stelt, he’d participate in the gladiatorial matches out of personal entertainment.Unbeknownst to him, the rulers of his island paid the Shepherds of Flesh to detain Greel due to “atrocities” he performed prior to his exile. The slavers proceeded to trap their prisoner on the Island of Pain as per request.Greel found a new experience while on the isle, making friends and allies with fellow competitors and slaves there to form a group called the Wolves of Liberty, along with befriending a formerly wild Rock Lion. In the aftermath of an ambush by Team Patronage member Jontan, he dictated a plan to the other Wolves involving the defeat of the Shepherds and liberation of those trapped on the island. Character Name: HexxonSpecies: ToaGender: MaleAppearance: Hexxon is a Toa of exceptional height and well-built frame, clad in poisonous red and vermillion armor of unusual design. His eyes are normally sky blue, but seem to darken whenever he is agitated. Wicked-looking spikes (shaped similarly to the spinal spikes of Nektann) are visible all across his plating, protruding from in-between the metal. His mask is shaped like the one in this image.Powers: Elemental Powers of Psionics, and from tampering with his own biology, Hexxon has earned limited control over Lerahk poison, which is applied to objects via touch or secretion through his spikes. His deftness with his elemental powers makes him a formidable opponent. The Rhotuka produced by his launcher inflict a creature with a moderate form of mind scramble, similar to the Dark Hunter Gatherer’s, but not as severe.Weapons/Equipment: Hexxon has a number of equipment that he has looted from other slaves or their corpses in addition to his Great Kualsi, Mask of Quick Travel. This includes various masks: a Great Jutlin, Mask of Corruption (shaped like this) taken from the deceased Qayzaf; a Great Kiril, Mask of Regeneration taken from Sledge; a Great Kaukau, Mask of Water Breathing gained from a cache; a Great Crast, Mask of Repulsion (shaped like an Olmak) taken from Suicavel; as well as a Great Avsa, Mask of Hunger and a tattooed Great Akaku, Mask of X-ray Vision, both taken from the deceased Jontan. He also wears the Nynrah Gauntlet that he stole from Sledge, which generates constructs of energy and requires a day’s worth of recharge when overused, and carries a staff with a Rhotuka Launcher affixed to the apex salvaged from Qayzaf. The Toa can use his spikes for offense if he needs to.Bio: Since the beginning of his existence, Hexxon’s life has always been centered on science. He willingly submitted himself to experiments as a Matoran, a trait that he retained as a Toa. Salvaging through Rahkshi corpses, he added their metallic innards to his own makeup. This practice was the reason for his capture, for the Shepherds would also plunder the battlefields of the Brotherhood of Makuta to attain Rahkshi for their own creations. He was caught by their operatives and, proving too troublesome to labor in their mines or factories, dropped off on the Island of Pain.Once there, the Toa did as he also had: worry about self-preservation and hone his skills. He managed to secure himself multiple tools and weapons from the dead or still-living slaves competing for their lives. Character Name: VertanSpecies: SkakdiGender: MaleAppearance: Vertan does not resemble the average Skakdi, but is rather a bulky and complex framework of mechanical systems and network of organic tissues, clothed in blood-red armor with a secondary color of jet-black. Spotting his armoring are dozens of metallic silver blotches of varying sizes, some in clusters and others spread far out. His skin, head, face, and spine are crimson-red as well. His chin is sharp and pointed, like many of his features, including his eyes and forehead, which are angular. The top of his head is almost like a reptilian crest; a large spike in between two smaller ones, which begin his spine. His spine design consists of three rows of jagged, pointy spikes, the center row having the large spikes and the two sides having the small spikes. The two rows of smaller spikes are lined right beside the main row of large spikes and sprout next to the spaces in between the large spikes. Vertan has large hands (shaped like the Dark Hunter Tyrant’s) and feet (shaped like the Dark Hunter Gatherer’s) with silvery claws. On his right shoulder armor is this symbol of Fire, tattooed onto the metal and colored silver. His eyes and eyebeams are yellow, as opposed to the typical crimson coloring most Skakdi have.Powers: Elemental Powers of Fire (in conjunction with another Skakdi). His impact vision generates a concussive force to tear apart targets. As his individual ability, he has the capability to create and blast powerful force bolts, along with slowly charging them in his palms to develop a stronger and larger attack.Weapons/Equipment: Initially, Vertan wielded solely a club of dense wood tipped with wicked metal spikes. However, he received from the Shepherds a lustrous blade (shaped identically to one of Tahu’s Magma Swords), able to act as a focus for his elemental energies independent of another Skakdi. He also possesses the Kanohi Pigrit, Mask of Sloth, salvaged from Toa Kuy’saz’ra, his predecessor on Team Patronage, which now rests on his left shoulder as a symbol of his victory over the mighty Toa. At times he will revert to using his claws for offense. Bio: The warrior. Prior to his imprisonment on the Island of Pain, Vertan fought as a soldier on Zakaz in the service of a Skakdi warlord. He was both respected and feared, and often one of the first combatants in battle. When his warlord fell to his enemy, the victorious force banished him from the island for being far too destructive on the battlefield and a hazard to fellow soldiers, selling him to the Shepherds of Flesh. He was then thrown on their island, free to crush the landscape and slaves trapped there. While on a chase for a cache in Dragon’s Roost that had been claimed by a Toa named Levacius, Vertan made his way into the Parched Wastes, where he joined a battle between several other slaves and a Toa of Team Patronage. He managed to snap the neck of Kuy’saz’ra, therefore unwittingly claiming his position on the team. The Skakdi, due to his elemental affliction, resides in the region of Ashring for most of the time. He serves the Shepherds loyally, and regards them as ethereal beings. Character Name: ReptakSpecies: SkakdiGender: MaleAppearance: Reptak resembles the average Skakdi, looking like the Piraka in many aspects. His skin, face, spine, and armor are the same shade of green, with plates of bright gold included in his armoring as well. His scarlet-colored eyes are both angular and menacing, and he has this tattoo branded on his left pauldron, with the symbol colored bright gold. Reptak’s spine and face design is a cross between Zaktan’s and Nektann’s.Powers: Elemental Powers of Air (in conjunction with another Skakdi). His laser vision is capable of piercing rock, metal, and even protosteel if sufficient strength is applied. Reptak has self-molecular separation as his third ability. This enables him to willingly shatter his body into a cloud of green, crystalline dust, reform it at will, and fly while in this form, just like the Order of Mata Nui member Johmak.Weapons/Equipment: Reptak was left with only an elegant-looking, golden blade from his days as an advisor, though it was forged more for decoration and to represent his status than for melee. Over time, however, he earned a rare piece of equipment from a special cache – a metal bow with an almost invisible string able to fire sonic arrows to shatter targets. In addition to these tools, the Skakdi has sharp claws to slash with.Bio: Long before coming to the Island of Pain, Reptak served as an advisor to the warlord he served – the same as Vertan’s. He also participated in planning out attacks and strategies, using his intelligence to help win the wars. When his warlord lost in a war, Reptak was sentenced to slavery, but the opposing warlord saw his skills as very useful. Instead, he was declared the new head strategist and prime advisor, though the then current planner and advisor feared losing their spots and sold Reptak to the Shepherds before he could take the positions. The Skakdi was later imprisoned on the Island of Pain to join all the rest in the slavers’ games. He has made an alliance with the Team Patronage Skakdi Vertan, due to their affliction back on Zakaz with the same warlord.
  3. I have two profiles filled out for new characters; should I add them in with my other two?
  4. I'm glad to see both this and the forums back. I've missed reading about Tobduk and his adventures. Now, I must say that chapter four, although lengthy, was very exciting. I enjoyed Brond's and Tobduk's epic fight, as well as the miners' convesation. Definately found the truth around Onus as eerie, especially the part with the earth being alive. And someting tells me that Subtarond's discovery will not turn out well...
  5. I'm doing great, thanks. And you? :)

  6. I'm doing okay. ^_^ I've been a little busy too.

  7. Hi Arcalis! :) How have you been?

  8. Maybe the Dream Eater stole them. Daiker, that is one strange dream. I mean, a volcano that's a duck and erupts fudge?
  9. Greg, you never fail to get me excited. I can't wait to see these Red Star beings! And a switch? I thought there was one in there. What's this about the Nynrah Ghosts? I made the second page!
  10. Great alternate Teridax MoC! Hope there will be instructions.
