  1. ------ My character, Gorak, leads a small band of criminals to enforce his demands on certain businesses and individuals, if that's what you're looking for.
  2. IC: Shadowtangle "I'm not too sure," Hexxon responded with a shrug. "I would have guessed this jungle would be a place of retreat for him, though if your probing hasn't revealed anything like him around, then perhaps he hiding in the mountains? It wouldn't hurt to check, unless an Observer has seen him about." IC: Toothy Bane-Haven Cove Border Greel rode Rocky down the gray slopes of the Toothy Bane mountains, with several large rocks circling above them that he had snatched off the ground telekinetically. As they raced toward the battlefield, he began flinging them at the squad of Caretakers present, aiming to impale or crush the robots with the weight and sharp pinnacles of the stones. He was careful not to injure his allies, using his powerful telekinetic abilities to direct one projectile at a time toward its target. IC: Haven Cove Vertan did not stop or slow in pace as Nostala blocked his way, simply snorting at her comments. His yellow eyes flared in color as she flung the rock at his face, producing a powerful pair of eyebeams that crumbled the stone to mere pebble-sized fragments. He proceeded to lift his free hand, tossing a bolt of force energy from his palm at her in the process to counteract her second attack. "Perfect, another Toa," the Skakdi retorted sarcastically, incorrectly assuming the species of his opponent. In his rage he didn't notice the small differences between the two races, nor had he really registered the arrow from Arillan. "Get out of my way!"
  3. IC: Ring HQ - Kai-Nam The longer Kaytana watched this Toa, the more suspicious she became of him. He was quite unusual for his kind, utilizing furtive methods and possessing astounding apathy. The Skakdi couldn't determine what good this information would do for him and why he wanted it, though she couldn't complain if she still valued ownership of Lyxek's abandoned data. "I have several theories about that," she began, watching him carefully as he studied the throne. "Perhaps Lyxek transported his supporters with him to wherever gods reside for some reason and could only take a certain number of us, or he only needed a set amount. Maybe it wasn't Lyxek's doing at all, but rather the god Rhashahk taking his reviver's followers to reward them for resurrecting him... or simply remove those he saw as expendable after all was complete." She paused for a moment, reflecting on how uncertain the fates of her comrades were, before continuing. "As for the rest of us, I'd say they do the same as I -- whatever we felt like. We had fought and won gloriously, with our great leader ascending to godship. I suppose they could have also resumed a life of crime."
  4. IC: Shadowtangle A mask held in each hand, Hexxon raised the Akaku to his face and covered his customized Kualsi, the grayish Kanohi gaining a vermillion coloring while the tattoo retained its vibrant red. He proceeded to don the Avsa, it too undergoing a change in hue, the face blushing into poisonous red and the upper half attaining a deep shade of orange-red. Rather than allow it to retreat behind the rest of his Kanohi, the Toa decided to test its greater power. Directing his attention to a nearby Rahi stalking in the area that he had sensed mentally, he triggered the energy-siphoning feature of his newest tool. Immediately he felt a rush of power, far stronger than what he experienced with his Noble version. Once a satisfactory amount of strength had been sapped from the creature, he ceased the drain, the vampiric fangs poking from the mouthpiece his now grinning face. "Alright," Hexxon replied, replacing the Avsa with his Kualsi. He reached out a hand, summoning his Rhotuka staff, which had been proped up against a tree, into his grasp. "Let's get started." IC: Toothy Bane As the Makuta magnetically lifted Levacius to his side, Greel gave Rocky a kick to his hind leg with the back of his boot. In response, the pet Rock Lion raised his head to the sky and released a formidable roar from the depths of his maw. It might have been confused with the everday animal shrieks and din heard emanating from the vast forest of Shadowtangle, but to the hidden members of the Wolves of Liberty, it meant something much different... The signal for attack had been given. The time had come. IC: Haven Cove A barrage of blazing fireballs rained from the sky, bombarding the ground around Void and the disguised Nostala and vitrifying the grains of sand they collided with. The temperature seemed rise to an uncomfortable degree as well, almost like an omen for what approached. To their left, a huge and bulky figure appeared, clad in blood-red and wielding a lustrous blade in a clawed hand, which glowed with heat. "I believe that's my Toa you have," Vertan bellowed at the two, stomping onto the white sands of the beach. OOC: Let's do this!
  5. IC: Wrathak's Manor - Central City Wrathak had withdrawn from a closet his ebon cloak he typically used during midday activities outside his home, the folds of the garment swirling around him as he drapped it over his armored body. Having found himself weary with the minimal action here, he decided a stroll through the city could remedy his mood. And with his eleborate home shut tightly up and hood drawn, the Toa exited his property to explore. OOC: Open for interaction.
  6. IC: Shadowtangle Hexxon simply shrugged in response, crossing his arms as Okena organized the equipment of their fallen enemies. At the unexpected mention of his own Mask of Hunger being added to the list of items the other Toa wanted, he looked back at his ally with wonder in his eyes. Suprised at the request but not about to complain, Hexxon summoned the Noble Avsa to the forefront of his collection. The fanged Kanohi appeared over his face before he removed it from the rest. He placed it gently beside both the satchel of needles and Sanok, and proceeded to gesture towards Jontan's Akaku and Avsa. "These must be mine, then," the Toa of Psionics said, grabbing them off the ground. "I don't need the remaining tools, so feel free to take them should you change your mind."
  7. IC: Ring HQ - Kai-Nam Genuine surprise appeared on Kaytana's face as the Toa tossed to her the device containing the information she sought. He quite an impressive being, in both skill and manners. She seemed to relax somewhat after acknowledging that, removing the hood of her cloak as she did so, revealing not only her face, but also the metal band around her head, from which a pair of demonic horns protruded at the forehead. "Very well," the Skakdi responded, eyeing the Toa with intrigue. "What do you want to know?"
  8. IC: Shadowtangle A nearby patch of greenery rustled as Hexxon emerged, a smirk on his mask that indicated his satisfaction in Jontan's and Rastaque's demise, unlike the solemn one usually fixed on his ally's face. He stepped over to the corpses as Okena began salvaging their equipment, particularly towards the Toa of Sand's inert body. "What a victory!" he said, placing a foot on the emptied jar of sand. Appling the necessary pressure, the stone container cracked and splintered into fragments, which he crushed underfoot. "I suppose this makes you Team Patronage's newest recruit." He reached out to aquire the spoils of their success, specifically the Kanohi on the expressionless faces. "Now, just how to distribute these... ?"
  9. ----- Looking back through the last few pages, Kairan was running across Shadowtangle towards Haven Cove, while Plagia had made it far enough to reach the border of both locations, and had prepared her bow for the upcoming ambush.
  10. IC: Ring HQ - Kai-Nam Kaytana glared at where she knew her company to be, the features of her snarl still fixed on her green face. After witnessing his skill and powers, she couldn't deny that she may be at a stalemate with this being. The very thought disgusted the Skakdi, who was accustomed to slaughtering her foes in recent times, so much that she hardly noticed Qui's appearance. She considered his words, how indeed simple and easy this could go... but she had come to know that anything that seemed too good to be true generally was. In fact, no one would ever graciously trade a Skakdi anything unless a weapon was pointed at their face. Yet, how could she allow him to simply walk off with her quarry without trying? "Interesting proposition," Kaytana replied, "but how do I know you'll follow through?"
  11. IC: The Golden Widget - Ga-Koro-Nui Gorak sat amid the the flashing lights of the numerous gambling games and crowds of people, a beverage in one hand, playing cards held in the other. He watched the being sitting across the table with with gleeful eyes, anticipating the expression of failure on his face. This one had refused to back down from the game like the others had, though now looked as if he had regreted that decision. His eyes continuously shifted from his cards to the Skakdi's menacing face and then back again. "Whenever you're ready," Gorak said, swishing his cup around to stir its contents before taking a sip. "I'm in no real hurry." In truth, he was waiting patiently for what came next, as he did find amusement in this one's nervousness. He had used several different tricks to thwart his fellow players, but this one thought he knew what he was doing. A look of determination on his face, the being nodded, ready to end it. Both players laid their cards on the table simultaneously. Gorak smiled; his competitor's eyes seemed to bulge out of his skull. Chuckling, the Skakdi reached out and scooped the pile of golden tokens towards him, his hands like shovels. "It was a pleasure playing with you all," he chortled, guzzling down the rest of his drink while the players left the table. IC: Wrathak's Manor - Central City Standing before the dark altar in his home, Wrathak offered his prayers to his Makuta gods. A series of thick, dark red candles decorated the black table, along with a number of other holy sacraments, their flickering flames revealing a triangular stone tablet dangling from the cord grasped in his armored hands. This was a sanctuary for him, a place where he could worship his deities in peace. The Toa of Shadow paused in his petitions, placing his Table of Transit -- a testament to his undying loyalty to his masters -- on the altar beside a black basin, carved from the same rock as the altar. Inside the bowl swirled pure shadow power, procured from his elemental reserves as sacrifice to his dark masters. The Toa's hands suspended over the container, he waved simple gestures that allowed the energy to dissipate. In another gesture, his right hand closed into a fist. The darkness of the room smothered the candlelights in response, extinguishing the flames, and ending the ceremony.
  12. Name: WrathakGender: MaleSpecies: ToaKanohi: Kanohi Felnas, Mask of DisruptionAppearance: Wrathak is a Toa of exceptional height, clad in jet-black armor that glistens when exposed to light, akin to a night sky with twinkling stars. It features a splatter of blood-red scattered across the entire suit that appears as if red paint was added to him by the of flicking a paintbrush. Most of these markings are speckles, though some are the size of small blotches. Perhaps most intimidating of his appearance is the image of a skeleton painted across his mask, armor plating, gauntlets, and boots that actually traces over his own bones. The substance used to give his attire its red decorations gives off a glow in low-lit areas, creating an eerie effect for those who see it. The palms of his armored hands and soles of his boots are bright red. In addition, Wrathak will occasionally wear a black, hooded cloak to prevent both sunlight and any unwanted attention from focusing on him.Powers: Elemental Powers of Shadow, all the aspects of which he wields with precision, except the formation of a Shadow Hand.Abilities: Due to spending much of his time in the shadows and night, Wrathak has developed limited night vision. He is also very well mentally disciplined, able to thwart unskillful psionic-users, and is an excellent sword fighter.Weapons: Wrathak wields a weapon identical to the Agori Sahmad's tool. Being a combination of a launcher and blade, it can be used as an element-channeling sword or double as a blaster that can fire vibrant red, Fear-inducing Zamor Spheres (equivalent to level four of the Kraata power). Those struck by the Zamors gain a faint red nimbus around their bodies. He also owns a Tablet of Transit, though possession of this token is kept a secret and stored in his home. Weaknesses: Unfortunately, his night vision, coupled with his powers over Darkness, makes him vulnerable to bright lights, both natural and elemental, though average daylight is harmless. Occupations: None Personality: Wrathak exhibits a righteous personality, despite being an entity whose spirit is tarnished by evil. He is beyond the shadow of a doubt that the Makuta are deities, and that everyone must conform to The Way – a belief of his own invention that everything should belong to shadow and void of any light. The Toa sees it as his mission in life to convert others to his twisted religion by siphoning their inner light. History: Originally a Matoran residing in the west, Wrathak was bitten by a vampiric Shadow Leech during a night in his village around the time of the Destiny War. His moral light drained by the creature, he became a Shadow Matoran and was taken by the Makuta, as he exhibited a certain trait that all Matoran destined to become Toa have. He was then transferred to the fortress of Destral, where he was brainwashed by the Makuta, told repeatedly that he was to amount to great power. Wrathak was the Toa that Teridax had in mind when planning to recreate the Nui Stone. The Makuta that Wrathak was assigned to mentored him in the use of his elemental powers, and had the Toa assist in his own tasks and commanding several of his forces. Near the close of the war, his master was killed during an assault from the Order of Mata Nui. Wrathak managed to evade both capture and death, for he was absent from that particular battlefield. When Teridax achieved control over the Matoran Universe, the new “Great Spirit” rewarded his dark servant with a high position in his new world, tasking him with eliminating rebellions and enforcing his will. He participated in the Battle of Bara Magna, fighting alongside Teridax’s Rahkshi and Skakdi minions. In an attempt to avoid imprisonment after the battle in the newly forming society, the Toa of Shadow went into hiding until any memory of his past deeds and atrocities were forgotten. He reemerged into society with wealth attained from the treasures of the Brotherhood that had survived the Destiny War, which he had retrieved during the evacuation of the Great Spirit Robot. Wrathak continues to revere the deceased Makuta as gods, though in private to prevent arrest and suspicion. In his elegant home is housed a black altar where he performs his little ceremonies and rituals, carved from ebony, obsidian-like rock salvaged from the throne room on Destral, with the sigil of the Brotherhood engraved into its rough surface. Name: GorakGender: MaleSpecies: SkakdiKanohi: NoneAppearance: Gorak is a rather tall and burly Skakdi, coated in a suit of pitch-black armor featuring an intricate pattern of luminescent, pale green lines that trace over his own skeletal structure; the lines split at the edge of his skull, some of which run across the side of his head and connect with the sides of his menacing, sickly green eyes – and the others travel across his chin to touch the lower lip of his mouth. He has multiple strange tattoos adorning his body, all of them emitting a soft, green light like the lines across his frame. His skin, head, and spine are all jet-black in color, and his facial and spinal design share a resemblance to those of Reidak. Gorak sports numerous battle scars on both of his armoring and flesh, as well as a ragged, hooded cloak woven from black thread, which several of his spinal spikes poke through the holes of.Powers: Elemental Powers of Magnetism (in conjunction with another Skakdi). His vision power has disintegrative properties, equivalent to stage five of the Kraata power of Disintegration in terms of strength. His third, individual ability enables him to exude a greenish nimbus that can absorb and neutralize energy attacks.Abilities: As a Skakdi, Gorak possesses the prominent physicalities natural to his species, such as great strength, endurance, etc. His mentality and will is notably stronger and more disciplined than average for his kind, allowing him to better resist the temptations of battle, as well as greater focus. He is also an experienced sword fighter.Weapons: A large sword capable of channeling his elemental energies when available (resembling the one held in this image), the teeth of which are forged from protosteel. His large claws are sharp enough to pierce through weak metal and rock barriers. He also carries a deck of metal throwing cards in his cloak, each one sharpened to a keen edge.Weaknesses: Gorak has developed an allergy to the juices of Madu fruits, especially those of the ripened version, Madu Cabolo. This forces him to flee should the volatile fluids be exposed, or he risks an unsavory wave of sickness. As a Skakdi, much of his power is unavailable unless he is partnered with a willing specimen of his race. His cockiness and sense of superiority can also be taken advantage of by others.Occupations: Owner of The Golden Widget, a flashy casino situated in Ga-Koro-Nui on Casino Lane where he likes to profit from the misfortunes of others. He is also the leader of a small ring comprised of several criminals, mostly hired thugs he orders around to collect payment from those he deals with. His group operates in the basement of his business.Personality: Gorak exhibits traits often attributed to his species, such as greed, a hunger for power and conflict, and arrogance. Although seemingly possessing the typical attitude for a Skakdi, he likes view himself as above his kin and take charge of any around, perceiving them almost as rash brutes. He is also casually cruel to others and delights in the suffering of smaller creatures.History: Gorak, following the experiment on his people and the outbreak of war plaguing his homeland of Zakaz, took residence on the island of Stelt, where he established his own merchant business. His methods were not unlike those of the natives, as he often used violence to discourage similar companies from competing against him.At the time of Teridax’s domination of the Matoran Universe, the Skakdi attempted to continue his trade despite the panic throughout his world. However, he was forced to shut down when the Mata Nui robot became uninhabitable, and immigrated to the newly formed planet.Gorak came to settle in Ga-Koro-Nui, where he acquired ownership of a casino that had been given to him due to the debt of the former owner. A new opportunity before him, the Skakdi hired several unsavory individuals into a gang to harass others into purchasing security or forging deals with him.
  13. --- Yes. ----- Okay, thank you for clarifying that.
  14. Just to confirm this, Wrathak and Gorak are approved?
  15. Kaytana narrowed her eyes at the odd little noise coming from above, trying to percieve exactly what and where it was coming from-- She gasped as the metallic projectile buried itself into the computer screen beside her, and watched incredulously as the information of the machines drained into it. That proved that her company wasn't some mindless animal climbing about the rafters, but that fact wasn't disclosed in her mind right now. Rather, the brief appearance of a small light was what had her attention now. Snarling, the Skakdi's right arm shot out from her cloak, a wicked sword in hand. The carvings present on the blade appeared to emit their own green glow, while her eyes also flared with color. If light could reveal the being's presence, or at least the texture of it, than that was the key to finding the intruder. An incandescent and throny light vine sprouted from the weapon, accompanied by a pair of scarlet energy beams, both aimed for the source of where the glow had been.
  16. IC: Shadowtangle Hexxon, realizing his subtle attacks delivered no effective damage to either of his targets, decided to take a new approach. Drawing from his reserves, he reached out to Rastaque's mind, grabbing and clawing at it with his elemental powers. He began twisting the more sensitive regions of the Toa of Air's mentality to rack it with pain, hopefully contorting his senses in the process as well. The energy removal from Jontan intensified significantly as the Toa of Psionics pressed his focus into the mask's power. He would start to feel his strength abandoning his small frame, feel the drain steadily pushing him into unconsciousness as he weakened, while it retreated into his unseen opponent. Unfortunately, both assaults disclosed the fact that Okena was not the only enemy hiding amid the trees of the forest, though Hexxon seemed assured that the relentless onslaught of his ally, coupled with his own, less deadly attacks, would be enough to finish off the pair before either could retaliate. IC: Toothy Bane Greel watched as the Shepherd emerge, the anticipation for battle boiling up inside him. Timing was critical now, as they needed to wait for the ideal moment to strike the slaver, surprise him with an ambush of his own slaves...
  17. IC: Ring HQ - Kai-Nam It did indeed take a moment or two to realize the disturbance in the room, for she was very intent on extracting information from the computers. She paused, her clawed hands hovering just above the keys of the main console, as if in thought; the flittering of a shadow overhead and a slight break in the oppressive silence (other than the clicking of her typing), set the Skakdi in alert. Something was very wrong here, since the entire base -- and by extension, the whole island -- should have been void of any other inhabitance, unless it was some Rahi that had sought to claim its territory here. Kaytana whirled on her heels, the fabric of her cloak swirling with her motions as she turned to the rest of the chamber. Her eyes immediately drifted to the ceiling, where the thing had passed aloft. She noticed nothing out of the ordinary, or course, due to her observer's method of concealment. Wary now, one of her hands gripped the handle of her sheathed sword firmly; the material of her robe, drawn over her shoulders and drapping her front, hid this action from sight. "I know your here, so there's no use in hiding anymore," Kaytana said, her voice booming in the incredible silence of the place. "Come out, come out wherever you are..."
  18. ----- ----- I had consulted Legolover over PM earlier with a couple questions about Loophole, one of which was if Shadow was an outlawed power or not. His answer was: ----- So, both characters approved, then?

  20. IC: Ring HQ - Kai-Nam In another region of the icy Barrens, a figure stood beside the vacant throne of Lyxek, this one too clad in a hooded cloak in an attempt to stave off the detestable cold and snow. A clawed hand ran across one of the grand chair's armrests, forcing memories of past deeds here to fill up her head, some of them painful, while other delectably evil. Yet she remained passive and quiet, just as the silence that permeated throughout the huge, abandoned fortress in the mountains, and the entire island itself. Kaytana shifted her gaze away from the throne, now eyeing the computers on the ajacent wall with interest. They were, after all, the purpose of journey back here. She stepped over to the screens, where she extended her arms to the control panel. Locked inside the systems, she knew, was information on Lyxek's schemes and more, though she was after something much different. In the event that his plan failed and his enemies stood victorious, the Ringmaster must have had a Plan B on file, or any ideas for future attempts at beginning anew. While details on his grand revival project might be useless in these harsh times, Lyxek's possible backup plans may profit the Skakdi in some way. That locked firmly in her mind, Kaytana set to work, recalling the procedures used back when that band of Ring enemies had been allowed to do the same here.
  21. Username: Magnus GreelName: KaytanaSpecies: SkakdiGender: FemaleDescription: Kaytana is a fairly typical Skakdi in appearance, resembling the Piraka in many aspects, but with feminine features and a slimmer shape. She is clad in scarred armor mottled sickly green and brown, which has lost its luster over time. Her head and spine are also sickly green in color, and her eyes are a vivid red, shining with madness and malice, one of which has a nasty, crescent-shaped scar across it. She has clawed hands and feet, as well as a horned circlet-crown on her head.Kaytana exhibits the traditional behavior of a Skakdi. She is greedy, selfish, power hungry, and bloodthirsty. It was a habit of the sadistic Skakdi to wander until conflict arose and then join in, which was her main reason for participating in the KNPD/Ring War on Kai-Nam. She likes to prolong the sufferings of others, especially in these new times, for personal entertainment. Kaytana can hold a grudge indefinitely, and has an affinity for nature and plants.Equipment: A wickedly curved blade with a razor edge, which has tiny chips from excessive use and sharpening, along with runes of an archaic language engraved across both of its flat sides. It can act as a conduit for use of her elemental energies independent of another Skakdi; when this feature is in use, the runic letters illuminate with a lime-green glow. She carries a few backup daggers taken from a spiked dagger plant. In addition to these possessions, Kaytana wears a circlet salvaged from a dead Skakdi warlord on Zakaz.Mask: NonePowers: Elemental Powers of Jungle (in conjunction with another Skakdi). Her eyebeams temporarily disable the sense of direction of those they hit, making it difficult to strike back or flee. Kaytana’s other ability was initially lost to her cybernetic modifications, though she has regained it over time; she can absorb elemental attacks directed at her and hurl them at another at a later time. She can reshape the assaults with her mind, but must be cautious to not store too much elemental energy, lest she will explode from a buildup.Vehicle: This. Kaytana has retained her sleek speeder from events on Kai-Nam, though it has gone through much wear since then, forcing her to use salvaged parts to maintain its workings. Levitation Kanoka attached to its underbelly enable it to ride the air above surfaces, and detachable blasters mounted on its front provide offense by launching force bolts. The vehicle’s speed has deteriorated over time, but Kaytana has saved the sensory systems to detect the presences of incoming or hidden objects, which appear on a gridded screen.Biography: Like many Skakdi, Kaytana has a violent history behind her name. She dedicated her much of her life to war, in both planning and battling the enemy. Her presence on the battlefield was signaled by the mass growing of venomous flora and a pile of corpses.Even without the Immorality Factor added into her life, Kaytana has always had a tendency to make a comeback after an apparent demise. The first occurred after a major skirmish between two Skakdi warlords, where she suffered near-fatal injuries to much of her body. However, she managed to survive through the “help” of others and use of cybernetics. In proceeding events, Kaytana served as a member of the Ring on Kai-Nam, where she pretended to befriend an Odinan named Hexxon and acted as a neutral figure in the war. After she revealed her true allegiance and Lyxek completed his grand plan, the Skakdi sought to finish her battered enemy off. Both combatants succeeded in their goal – Hexxon impaled by the poisoned spike-end of her club-staff, and Kaytana in pieces from explosions of shadow within her prosthetics. Due to the Immortality Factor, neither opponent died. Kaytana later returned to Zakaz to resume her old career. During this period of time, she killed and replaced her former warlord, looted his corpse of its circlet, weapon, and attained control over his army. No longer concerned with dying, the Skakdi climbed her way to fame on her homeland, gaining a much larger reputation as a merciless warrior, with a huge body count. The Skakdi had died twice in the time since immorality was introduced to the Universe, and has since decided to refrain from her hazardous lifestyle due to the results of her last regeneration. As Zakaz is literally a massive graveyard of the living, she no longer resides on the island. Username: Magnus Greel Name: Athaz’Baru Species: Conjurer’s species Gender: Male Description: Athaz is a specimen of Conjurer’s race, and therefore resembles the Dark Hunter in many aspects of his appearance. He shares the titanic build, though maintains a great bulk that Conjurer does not. His battle-scarred and burly frame is predominately brown in color, mottled with bright gold blotches of varying sizes; some are in clusters while others are spread far apart. The spines located on the back of his head are shaped identically to those of the Rahkshi seen to the right in this image. His eyes glow a dark, menacing red, and he will don a tattered, black, hooded cloak woven from coarse, fireproof cloth in-between battles. Athaz is rather uninterested in power, preferring war and bloodshed over it. Unlike Conjurer, water doesn’t bother him much, though the color red, especially brilliant shades of it, infuriates him, and can provide a distraction to the warrior. Equipment: A staff exceedingly reminiscent of the one carried by Conjurer specifically designed for battle, though its size seems to be dwarfed by his own. It, like him, appears thick and heavily armored. He also carries a razor-edged broadsword for close combat, resembling a combined version Tahu Nuva’s Magma Swords melded together at the flame designs. Mask: N/A Powers: Athaz possesses formidable strength and endurance, along with keen senses and a mastery of various combat styles. His intrinsic powers are powerful telekinetic capabilities, though he has also developed an ability similar to a Visorak Vohtarak’s berserker charges; namely, his outer armor plating hardens once he begins a charge, to the point where it is nearly invulnerable to harm. This tends to render him in a near-unconscious state if he smashes his head into a hard surface. Vehicle: None Biography: Hailing from an island to the south of the Matoran Universe, Athaz became a prominent warrior among his kin. His yearning for battle is widely renowned throughout both his homeland and the areas surrounding it, as well as his fury and skill. When conflict there became rather sparse and of little interest to him, the warrior left for bigger and better action, leading to his involvement in various skirmishes, including the KNPD/Ring War on Kai-Nam. Athaz joined forces with the Ring, becoming a notorious member among his fellows. He was present in the finale at the Day Run Arena, where he participated in Kerid’s capture, which he regarded as a glorious achievement, due to the Steltian’s history and status as a warrior, like himself. During the battle, he attempted to pin her body against a wall and snatch away her tool via telekinesis, though his eagerness distracted him from noticing her energy shields were active. Kerid managed to aim a few rounds with her pistol at his wide frame, which succeeded in burrowing through his dense armor-shell and body. Athaz was left mortally wounded, and forfeited his chance to defeat the Steltian, losing it to the Skakdi Kaytana. However, the bestial entity survived before he could succumb to his injuries, due to the completion of Lyxek’s plan and his gift of immortality healed the wounds. With a sense of regeneration and bloodlust, Athaz’s goal in this new world is to skin the troublesome Skakdi Kaytana of her flesh and cybernetics as well as grant Kerid the Fourth Death – and, of course, leave as much bloodshed as he can.
  22. Congratulations! I look forward to roleplaying in all three.
  23. IC: Tower of Terror - UnderhorrorHexxon watched as Kalus entered the room with a Kanoka disk in hand. As the strikingly pale Matoran deposited the rarity into the sled, he stepped over to his side and waited for the vehicle to rise. "Indeed. It would be a most unpleasent experience for all of us," the Toa of Psionics answered, walking toward to the transport. "I will pray for Godspeed along the way."IC: Garret's Warehouse - Underhorror"Well, shouldn't be too long now," Reptak said, wishing to break up the monotone. "The anticipation of sharpening my skills in combat by crushing our opponents is nearly killing me."
