  1. I don't think I've seen "Vakama's Talk," the ending theme from MNOG, requested. Would that one be doable? Thanks!
  2. Light has revealed the will of Mata Nui! Edit: Somebody said that already. Umm...Big guy with a staff thingy.
  3. Perhaps Toa Nidhiki/Tuyet/the rest of the Toa Mangai. I've always wish that team had been fleshed out more. Lariska would probably be my first choice, though. The lack of a Morbuzakh set always bugged me. Even a foam vine about two or three times the size of a Toa would be better than nothing.
  4. I'm not sure if we've ever seen anyone die of natural causes. BS01 says Takua was the first Matoran created, and he's still doing fine after 100,000 years, so unless he's unusually long-lived, that's probably our best guess for a minimum natural Matoran lifespan. Also keep in mind that the Red Star is supposed to revive anyone who dies, so if/when it works properly, Matoran and other MU lifeforms could theoretically live almost indefinitely.
  5. I think Makuta won. Kudos for referencing the "941 of them hurt" line. A suggestion I have would be to add subtitles--it's hard to catch every word in a rap, at least for me. Otherwise, great job!
  6. 5/5; She has an awesome voice, and the music was really fun and varied.
  7. Ah, too bad. I thought I might've found a key piece of evidence.
  8. My thoughts exactly. Getting back on topic, did anybody see my post from yesterday? When did GregF's account get un-banned after the hacking incident? Might this signify something?
  9. Bionicle. But seriously, I think Doctor Who would be a good idea if they could get the rights. Narnia might also be cool, if another movie ever comes along.
  10. It was in late 2001 or early 2002. I was at the grocery store with my mother, and they had a display of Turaga. I talked her into buying Onewa on the condition that I work extra-hard in school for the next week (I was a bit disinterested in schoolwork at the time, to say the least). I kept my end of the bargain, and it was an incredible feeling when I finally got to open the box! He's still one of my favorite sets because of that.
  11. 4/5; it's surprisingly catchy, and that guitar solo is really neat. I won't blame anyone for not listening to this all the way through.
  12. Howdy. I think this topic on the Lego forums is the easiest way to contact him. Though I don't know how likely it is he'll respond.
  13. Wasn't GregF's account banned awhile back after getting hacked? Well, it looks as if it isn't banned anymore...am I just out of the loop and it got un-banned some time ago, or might this signify something?
  14. I agree that, if Bionicle indeed comes back, change/simplification will be necessary. However, I favor the idea of a time skip over a reboot, at least until more information emerges (assuming, of course, that any info will emerge). Why? Because, as has been noted before, Bionicle is built on mystery. The ultimate mystery was that Mata Nui was actually a giant robot, and the Matoran and other beings were analogous to cells inside him—hence “biological chronicle.” So, a reboot would have two options: remove this element, and create a new mystery, or keep it, changing other elements, but destroying the overarching sense of mystery. I think the first option could be interesting…but would it really be Bionicle anymore? The core concept would be different. And the second option, while it could yield interesting results, is ultimately less desirable to me than having a new riddle to work out. A time skip could create a new mystery, and since it would (presumably) concern the former residents of the Mata Nui robot, the name “Bionicle” would still make some amount of sense.
  15. Perhaps Makuta just wanted an army of giant spiders for villainous purposes, and let them hunt as an easy way to keep them loyal. Though I doubt this would have been the only reason to keep them around, knowing Teridax and his multi-layered plans. I guess that's where everyone else's ideas come in.
  16. I suppose I might as well spring out of the woodwork now. I've been a lurker since late '04, and this is my first post. Does that mean I win or something?
