At the same time, the real Queen seized her opportunity: she teleported to immediately behind Zakaro, and thrust her trident into his back.

No, you're long since unfrozen - it only lasted for five seconds in-universe, long enough for a few attacks to come in. Luroka's initial barrages of metal spikes, for instance.

He's simultaneously controlling the spikes to ensure their continued flight path. Plus one of his arms is pinned, or something along those lines.

The second round has ended; people have returned to the Training Sector, Cafeteria, and Hallways. There are two ongoing Gem Quests run by me, two by Blade, and the Queen's Quest it still going on. I'm fairly certain that it was specifically stated that Lefia's charisma power works via speech, not via mask.

Luroka's infamous for... overrating his characters' levels of power. QUEEN: 25 The Queen frowned as an earthen orb smashed into her shoulder. [-1, 24] Frustrated by the Matoran who she had saved, she released his neck and teleported behind Zakaro, seamlessly creating an illusion of herself at her previous location at the same time. The stunt took a lot of concentration, but it would pay off.

GM IC - GEM OF ??? Apparently, the only way for Halken's crew to go was down. They would have to investigate the pit in the ground in order to progress.

That's an acceptable explanation. I guess it also explains how it didn't have a lasting effect and Ekial half-heartedly tried to get up and attack CINS.

GM IC - GEM OF ??? The tunnel remained dark as the quartet of explorers continued onwards. Nothing appeared out of the ordinary - until Halken took another step and his foot met empty air.

It isn't as if Ekial simply doesn't speak the language - the problem is that he actually lacks the intelligence to understand any language. He doesn't communicate.

Manhunter and Dane - I thought word-based charisma powers only worked on those who could understand the language being spoken. Am I wrong on that? Sure.

We decided to make it be its own power because really, mental shielding is not too different in application to physical defense, considering the amount of psionic beings in the game (despite the fact that obviously there are far more physical-based fighters).

GM IC - GEM OF ??? As the party progressed, a faint rumbling could be heard, seemingly a ways off. A small amount of pebbles and dust fell from the ceiling. However, there was no significant evidence of imminent danger, as the Skakdi and Rahkshi continued onwards towards the light...

I was checking over to see if anyone was waiting for a post... sorry I'd missed yours. I'll get to that. By the way, Dane, don't complain if Nato tries to kill Ekial. He's a character designed in such a way that he's bound to very rapidly destroy himself - overly aggressive and without actual intelligence - and we approved him knowing that, so just a warning, don't be mad if Ekial is killed quickly.

My understanding was: no creating infinite supplies of weapons, don't autohit by taking control of the metal in other characters (weapons, armour, bones, etc),in general, don't be godmoddy with it. That sounds about right. We've been considering implementing official limitations on light and shadow powers, too, mostly because their speed and teleportation sub-abilities are overpowered if they don't take up their own slots. Doing the same for iron and magnetism might be beneficial.

Don't worry about it. I'm pretty sure the trident isn't teleported, it's moved telekinetically. QUEEN: 25 The Queen gritted her teeth, and teleported behind Unit as he fired sonic blasts ahead of him. She prepared to retrieve her trident, but noticed the Ga-Matoran clinging to it. With a sigh, she teleported to the trident, grasped the trident in one hand and the nape of the Ga-Matoran's neck in the other, then teleported again to an upper catwalk.

Alisa approved; Snarl not approved because he's an automatic fightbot by nature when Alisa is in the game. Resubmitted with a change to his weapons/powers and the removal of the Sling-mace from his weapon slots. The tool is now purely decorative. Reapproved. Ekial approved. Typhoeus not quite approved. The first power contains multiple different facets, which - when in combination with his other abilities - makes for too powerful of a character. It's mental shielding, plus significant endurance, plus a high-level str/spd phys boost that seems to rival Hound's. Well, as I attempted to state, it is the history of the tournament, when it began, how many had been held, etc. Ah. I know that it's been mentioned that people know there have been other tournaments, but I don't recall the status on whether or not you can find out more specifics. You definitely wouldn't be able to tell how many incarnations of the tournament there are.
