    HITMAN 19

*Gets up real close to Chro and looks him dead in the eye*You know you like it... afterall you wouldn't come back each game. uh, nope, i do that because... i'm futilely trying to break the pattern? it isn't very fun
  2. Does the name "Bionicle" somehow inherently imply fully mechanical characters? I'm pretty sure Lyi explained it quite adequately.
  3. I've been very busy with school and other real life business, and my activity in Bionifight has been limited as a result. I'm doing my best to catch up, but it would be very much appreciated if people could help my efforts by catching me up on the KOs from the past four days or so. Here is what I have so far, and I know that it is not up to date.
  4. i think that the status of luroka should be silent since his other status is dead
  5. Busy weekend, I'll do my best to catch up on last 2-3 days this morning, but I may take til the afternoon... Ain't school grand
  6. The only thing better is burning Rahkshi hugs. Great Furnace is best Arena. I'm totally unbiased.
  7. GM IC - THE HOST - HOST'S OFFICE "Indeed. I would like to offer you an opportunity to serve as a part-time Enforcing assistant while our usual head of security is on vacation." The Host leaned forward and began rummaging through his desk. "Ah, let's see... well, you're a rule-abiding, competent candidate for the position, so I don't see why you would not be qualified unless you were not willing." He chuckled, pulling something from his desk, but keeping it hidden from view under his desk. "So what do you say, Sandalphon?"
  8. But we're not discussing bringing swords to a gunfight We're discussing bringing guns to a swordfight We're bringing swords and guns to a Bionifight. He twisted his ankle spawning in thenThat works.
  9. Yes. That would be bad### so please go for it.
  10. Hubert: The sky? But not much of it, because you'll also find an invisible barrier preventing you from going beyond the Great Furnace facility. A sky battle above the GF would be cool but you can't get too far from/above it. Nato: We'll reconsider based on your changes. Thanks.
  11. Nato: I'd consider okaying the powerset... fear roar is power scream and fear combined, so almost two powers in one, plus paralysis and the auto-returning staff... she would be strong anyway but she also has a distinct physical advantage (size, four arms, tail, spikes and so on), so disapproved as of right now. Cool MOC, though. jaga: No worries. Activity is always very rapid at the start of a round, especially now since there hadn't been a round in over a month. XD I presume damaged portions of the ceiling might begin falling in. The infrastructure of the Furnace is strong enough to support itself, and it's a huge complex structure, so shooting a hole in the roof isn't going to destroy the entire ceiling. :P
  12. Arctic: Reward lives from gem quests will be gifted by the Host after the completion of the round. At the moment I just wanted to at least let people use their gems, since it's my own fault that I haven't approved them IC already. Burn: There are levers and controls and such spaced around the catwalks. Be reasonable about it - like, no self-destruct button for the entire Furnace - but you can have some creative liberty with how the controls affect the environment. Controls aside, the vats and stuff are not entirely impossible to move on their own, either, given enough force. As Olari has shown, yeah, some are close enough to spill onto the walkways. Raz: All fighters are healed when the round begins (via facility tech) so Damaka's not gravely injured anymore. Host-to-Sandalphon response soonish. Disunity questers: I think Halken's alright for the moment. After a bit more interaction between Ilyin/Mirror/Lang we can wrap this up.
  13. Aw, I thought her physical description was going to be different when not disguised... Correct.
  14. Nicely done! Plus, you somehow managed to make a Noble Komau look really good, which is a feat in my book
  15. Round three has (finally!) begun. Things are heating up.
  16. ROUND THREE Great Furnace: FFA GM IC - THE HOST - OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS The Host turned away from Sandalphon. "Before we begin - one moment, if you please." He pressed a button under his desk and vanished. So did the majority of the facility's other inhabitants. And one by one, the fighters reappeared in the Great Furnace of Metru Nui. "First, I must announce that those of you who have unapproved Infinite Gems are, indeed, free to use them now. Only my absence prevented you from verifying your collections, and it is clear that those who currently hold gems all intended to turn them in. Besides, the Enforcer is not the only one with surveillance access, you know. I can keep tabs on gems when need be." "And now to the more immediate matter at hand: the third round!" The fighters stood upon metal platforms and catwalks, all spaced over vats of molten protodermis, within a vast room. The air near the roof was full of smoke, collecting due to the restricted ventilation necessary for maintaining a proper smelting heat: it was a furnace, after all. The many shifting vats of molten metal overhead and below were connected to convoluted systems of gears and pulleys spanning between catwalks and across the nearly magmatic contents of the gigantic major vats below. There was no artificial lighting, the entire space glowing with the hellish shine of red-hot liquid metal. The Host grinned broadly, seemingly unaffected by the conditions. "This is one of my favorite Arena configurations, and I'm sure you'll all see why in no time!" As a friend of mine once described it, he thought... a massive metal chamber, huge lake of molten protodermis in the center. Smaller basins everywhere, metal walkways interspaced between and across them. Various mechanisms including suspended buckets and tracks transporting molten protodermis through the area. A battlefield perfectly designed for hectic combat and environmental hazards galore. Absolutely wonderful. "Unfortunately, we've had troubles with contestants being knocked out by the temperature of all things, so the heat has been toned down ever so slightly. A few degrees lower, really; nothing... over the top." The Host spun around, sweeping his cloak dramatically - "And finally, as always, I wish you the..." His sentence trailed off as he noticed that a spark had leapt from the grinding metal of the shifting vats above him and set fire to the cloak's tail. With an expression of clear consternation he batted at the flames for a quick moment, then - glancing down at the watching fighters - elected to preserve his dignity and teleport away. From the Control Room came a second of static, then the Host's disembodied, slightly relieved voice: "Three!" "Two!" "One!" "FIGHT!" With a sigh, the Host turned back to Sandalphon and smiled. "Where was I?" After being knocked out of the battle, your character will be repaired and revived in the medical bay or in the large waiting rooms/locker rooms connected to the Arena. From there, characters may venture into the hallways and the rest of the facility, as you would have them do normally. If your profile is approved during the round, your character does not join the battle; they appear in the locker rooms. Mechs are not available during this round. The Great Furnace: Based upon an expansive industrial smeltery from another dimension, the Great Furnace is a treacherous combat zone rife with jets of fire, streams of molten metal, and the occasional angry telepathic plant monster. Please note that, just like how the canon Mt. Ihu was scaled down for the Bionifight Arena, the canon Great Furnace has essentially been scaled up; additionally, the Metru outside of it is inaccessible. (If you'd like a justification, it's a Great Furnace from an unspecified alternate reality Metru Nui. I guess it's maybe a little steampunky.) Free For All: This is the standard brawl; every fighter is pitted against the others, and the last one standing at the end of the round wins. If more than one fighter is still in the arena at the end of the round, the one with the most knockouts shall be announced as the victor. 17. I'll opt Tarsus out if he's busy... I need a definitive yes or a no as soon as possible, please
  18. Before the round starts there will be a brief Host post (maybe I'll incorporate it into the R3 start post rather than making it its own?) with the Host OK'ing unapproved gems. It does auto-heal injuries that are... inconvenient to repair normally. lol
  19. Heeeyyy, forums are back up! Got another few hours of school but I'll start the round as soon as I can.
  20. I suppose it also works for you to mention here whether or not you're going to opt anyone out; thanks! That was your first mistake

    HITMAN 19

in a game where kills are dictated by random number generator i highly doubt i'm particularly dangerous compared to anybody else

    HITMAN 19

you guys are actually the worst seriously i always go down round one
  23. The Kualsi was decorative in Tahnok's profile, nothing saying it can't be made functional here (by the power of plot) since the mech profile's powerset is totally different. will edit this post in like five minutes with something important (apparently I meant sixty-five minutes) . In order to minimize issues related to inactive players and characters, a new rule is now in place whereby if a character does not have an IC post within 48 hours before the start of the round, that character will be automatically opted out and will still lose a life as normal. Obviously there are exceptions; if, for some reason, you are waiting for a post from someone else for 48 hours (ergo inactivity is not your fault), please explain the situation here.
