  1. If you'd like a preview of the poll winner, entry #10 is available for public viewing
  2. I'll echo Ballom and Dot here - that Mata Nui is great. I don't remember seeing it before, glad I took a look through the entries again before voting. >.>
  3. GammaRay did a fantastic job making a G2 version of Dume and Nivawk... the problem is, I personally never really liked the official G1 set. Nocturn gets my vote.
  4. Some awesomely creative entries here, but Frost Hiver blows 'em out of the water as far as execution's concerned.
  5. I vote for Manducus Silly Seaborgium, thinking that's going to work
  6. While effort is a factor, it's also time. In your post they just... waltz right through, as if Kuro knows exactly what to do without thinking about it beforehand. There's physical danger, yes, obviously - but this gem quest's defense is a puzzle, too. I simply do not think it is reasonable for them to instantly traverse the electricity web and rescue Daltrahk.
  7. Going to be frank with you, Ghidora: I'm not okay with this response. Daltrahk acted hastily and disregarded the "solution" in favor of launching himself straight through dozens of arcs of electricity. Straight through them. I do not believe one of Daltrahk's powers is electrical resistance. I can see him shrugging off the wall impact, if it had been the only thing - but again, he was clearly in a situation where he'd be severely electrocuted. I'm not okay with this either, but at least you used the sword as intended. It isn't a simple "let's walk through with the sword held in front of us!" - it's a careful system of navigating it like a web as I referred to it multiple times. Also, just warning you, when they do make it across, it's probably going to take a while to partially heal Daltrahk. Gem-generated defenses are very damaging. However, I will take the blame for not posting in response to Ghidora quickly enough, which caused you to react as if there was no issue with it.
  8. I could've written my own post, but yours had basically taken the same course of events as I'd intended, plus I thought it'd be funny to use your post as a base.
  9. Hi there, Ars. Thanks for the visit (I think). Going to wait to vote.
  10. Can't wait to see how graphic novels go with the new animation/art style.
  11. Credit to Nato, whose joke post I borrowed and heavily modified... GM IC - GEM OF ??? As a result of his suicidal maneuver, Daltrahk suffered severe electrical shocks and burns from the lightning bolts that he had launched himself hastily through, as well as impacting heavily into the solid metal wall on the other side. Watching on helplessly as their ally collapsed - at best significantly dazed, at worst critically injured and unconscious - Kuro and Prose were left stunned by the Skakdi's rash action. On the positive side, after Daltrahk flew through the electrical arcs, about half of them fizzled out. The web of electricity was now less dense, allowing Kuro and Prose a slightly easier path to the other side.
  12. So Ghidora, with your latest post, Daltrahk is... very much electrocuted, no?
  13. Sorry if I misled you, Arctic, but my intention is not that the bolts will all be completely attracted to the sword. It isn't going to get them a free pass through. I'd say it blocks whichever ones the blade crosses the path of, maybe ones slightly out of the path, but not going to give you a free pass. I'm pretty sure their heights are similar. GM IC - GEM OF ??? Unfortunately, the Rahkshi would find that the sword did not attract all of the electricity. Several bolts remained crossing the tunnel - he'd only be able to block a couple at a time.
  14. GM IC - GEM OF ??? Submerging himself into the tunnel, Langmuir quickly found that it sloped up and widened, opening again into a water-free space. In fact, it was a rather wide room. Across from the tunnel was a ledge, above that a pair of doors, with a single torch attached to the wall between the two doorways. GM IC - GEM OF ??? Kuro found that his sword did indeed warp the path of the electric bolts. Evidently this was the key to the passage.
  15. I do that for about half of the Hitman games I play.
  16. clownfish mask is amazing
  17. The walls exploded because they were hit by frag bolts that were launched from the end of the tunnel. I've got a lot of homework tonight but hopefully I'll be able to get a gem post or two in.
  18. anything Halkenverse is best Skype character edit: gem quest posts inbound
  19. hrrrng so many cool game ideas now masks and madness, guys but mostly madness - I've been writing about that one for the past hour and a half
  20. AFAIK Ardian is the only Skype character played by someone who isn't on Skype so that's pretty cool
  21. GM IC - GEM OF ??? As Halken pulled the lever, a mechanical kla-chunk could be heard from within the wall of the pit. The water began to drain rapidly, revealing a doorway of sorts, or another tunnel entrance, carved into the stone that had previously been submerged. It seemed just large enough for Halken to fit, similar to the initial tunnel. GM IC - GEM OF ??? As Daltrahk spoke, a bolt of electricity jumped from the wall just next to him - and it would have struck, perhaps harmfully, had it not been redirected to Kuro's sword. The Rahkshi found himself unhurt by the electricity as the leather grip of the weapon insulated him.
  22. This time I know I answered it. Yes. ussal is definitely the most important
