Magnetic field blocking shots? What? :| Bastigan/19/5 "Oi, sea-beastie, that's not your choice to make." Bastigan followed on foot, firing directly at the Mutilator. Actually, you know what, hold on a sec. You can't just pull a new power from nowhere. If I am correct, your profile post stated that the tentacles generate a weak magnetic field to hold enemies in place, yes? Nothing about using the field to cover your body and block shotgun shells.

It's actually unknown whether Skull Spiders could affect G1 characters the same way as they affect G2 characters. Enough to slow you down and probably enough to make you uncomfortable - but unlike the actual ocean, it's modified by the Arena to do no more than that. Like, nobody's getting crushed by water pressure here.

Oh. I didn't realize that Rekhhur had launched forward, I thought he just went up. Bastigan/19/5 As the sea-beast dropped, Bastigan stepped back and spun (left) to the side, so that his right side was facing Rekhhur and his body was parallel to the creature's sword. As his opponent stabbed, the blade scraped across Bast's chest from right to left, just as he teleported - appearing a few yards to the right of the sea-beast, firing a series of blasts towards its center of mass.

Correct: recall Bastigan's resistance power. Bastigan/19/5 Teleporting backwards to dodge the rock smash, Bastigan fired upwards at Rekhhur.

Alright, disregard what I said above... posting now. Bastigan/19/5 Bastigan, of course, wasn't one to stand still like a sitting duck. His preparatory strafe caused him to move out of the way of the boulder, which struck his arm rather than hitting him full on. He whirled around to spy the sea-beast (again) about to be backstabbed by a fire Toa. Good. Bast decided to hold Rekhhur's attention by engaging him until Sanguivox could strike. Teleporting away from his position (so that Ghidora could not take him by surprise), but remaining within Rekhuur's field of view, Bastigan shouted at the Mutilator and fired tauntingly.

New game tagline. FIGHT HARDER [iNFINITELY HARDER] Yeah, he's a bit of a wimp. I know there's minimal personality established for him but I somehow felt that screaming at VH would be a bit OOC. He's all bark and no bite, and accordingly even his bark isn't that loud.

It was intended to catch you as you kicked off of him. And you can teleport out of the way. In that case, Bastigan has already done so... since he teleported out to behind Ghidora, Ferronox is attacking empty air. Although I guess it was only a few seconds in-game so no big deal. If Ghidora doesn't respond within one and a half hours of this post, I'll switch targets.

GM IC: NPC "MASK SALESMAN" - COMMERCIAL SECTOR "May you help?" the Salesman said, turning towards the approaching being. He stood up and faced her, incensed. "No you may not help! You're the one who just shot 'em all to the floor!" Exasperated, he looked back to the masks. "Now let me deal with this..." The grumbling Salesman crouched back down and began to shuffle the fallen wares around. One of them was very strangely wrinkled and pitted. His brow wrinkled as he examined it, and he sighed. "Look here," he addressed Venom Huntress again - "look how you've damaged this one!"

Going down the side of the mountain... Charlinia --- Unit --- Ferronox --- Ghidora --- Bastigan --- everyone else I think? I don't really understand this attack, by the way. Ferronox formed a metal sphere around himself, then somehow extended it all the way to catch Bastigan's legs... then you make the leg-grabbing into an autohit by attacking again. :| I'll post IC once I've got an idea of what's going on. And once you've fixed that.

GM IC: NPC "MASK SALESMAN" - COMMERCIAL SECTOR "Hrrnph." The weary salesman had been asleep at his desk, when suddenly a shot rang out and a bunch of masks fell off the display rack at the front of the counter. With a start, the Salesman jerked up, unbalancing his stool and nearly falling over. Regaining his balance - and with it his dignity - the Salesman jumped off the stool, scrambled out front of the stall, and began collecting the masks that had fallen.

since Luroka didn't get a chance to respond I'll assume that Bastigan's attack missed somehow Bastigan/19/5 Oh ■■■■ thought Bastigan. How'd he get up the slope so fast? He jumped backwards, hoping to kick off of Ferronox, teleporting midair again to dodge Ghidora's sword breaker. He appeared a few yards behind Ghidora and fired at the Matoran.

I don't like the squid launcher stand-in, and the green spines seems out of place (though I assume you simply don't have a blue one?)... but those are probably the only aspects of the MOC that I dislike. Great work.

Bastigan/19/5 Getting a running start, Bastigan sprinted forward and jumped into the air, then teleported before hitting the ground - he appeared inches behind Ferronox, falling immediately onto the hulking Toa's back, attempting to grab on and shoot him from point-blank range.

Bastigan/19/5 Bastigan swiftly teleported to right behind fishers, taking advantage of her telekinetic lava-splitting to avoid the hazard himself. As the flow passed, he teleported away before she could notice him.

I kinda feel like it's unfair for Bast to keep this pattern up, so Bastigan/19/5 Time to give him a break, I suppose, thought Bastigan, teleporting out of the wave's path. I'm not one for repetitive battles. He appeared near Ghidora and fishers, firing at Ghidora from behind.

well, alright but since he's being frozen in time, I guess he's not going to get to hear your witty quip Bastigan/20/4 Bast's eyes widened as he saw 0579 turn towards him - - then suddenly, he felt the point of a blade in his body. Oh joy. [19, +1 to 0579] Immediately, as soon as he was able to, Bastigan teleported behind the Okotoan, attempting to wrap a forearm around his neck and hold him from behind.

Bastigan/20/4 Bast teleported up the mountainside again, a short ways behind 0579, clearly evading all of the Okotoan's attacks. "Not gonna work, Numbers," he yelled gleefully, blasting shots towards his back, more to taunt than to actually strike.

Bastigan/20/4 Bastigan teleported last-second out of the way, watching the blades clatter together. Close one. Very close. He swung his shotgun back up, cracking off a couple of blasts at the Okotoan's back. Time to finish this Protector off.
