  1. Can't decide between Kadin and Mask of Adaption... I'll wait a little and see what happens...
  2. Happy Mask of Adaption made a comeback . Otherwise, yeah, I suppose I can live with this. Although Rode still feels out of place, but otherwise, I like it.
  3. So out of curiosity/ clarification purposes, can someone who has Time Trap post the relevant section(s) from the story?
  4. For whats it's worth, I originally voted for the Toa of Earth. Although with Yaldabaoth's book quote, I decided it might be better to leave this unknown. But if this does go to Toa x,y or z, I could live with it, and I'd just think of it as a sort of irony(?) that that while we, the fans, know whose mask it was, the characters in story may/will never know whose mask it was.
  5. So without first looking at what other people voted for/ gave reasons for certain Kanohi, I voted for Rahi Control (speaks for itself), Mask of Adaption (in a constantly changing battleground of a burnt-out city, against a fire-breathing dragon, it might help), Mask of Growth (it might help to go toe to toe against a giant beasty) and the Kadin (to keep up with the dragon in aerial pursuits). Some runner ups were: the Garai, Matatu, Faxon, Calix, Pakari, Rau, Sanok, and the Mask of Possibilities. (Now to go through all the posts and see what other people said...)
  6. I actually really like the bow and arrow and the whip ideas. "We named the Fikou [insert Toa name here]." With that said, I'm still going to suggest my own idea of a sickle.
  7. Along the lines of what ShadowWolfHount said, there are six other Toa on this team, so just because this Toa doesn't have the Mask of Rahi Control doesn't mean that any of the others don't, we just haven't seen what they wear yet.
  8. Ya know... there are 6 other Toa Mangai whose Kanohi we don't know.... (not seven because we know one of them did wear a Kakama) Also, Ben?
  9. I chose the mask of healing because since this is a Toa of the Green, they might already know of some herbs that could help heal wounds, which the mask could then help expand upon, such as making a practical use of said herbs. I mean, they were going up against a ginormous dragon, some people are gonna get hurt, so it might help to have a medic.
  10. So no pressure for the participants Also, what about the A Thousand Years Untold 2 contest? Last I saw, they were in a kind of grey area between accepted contest winners and official canon.
  11. I was just wondering how it's described in story since BS01 is a bit vague on what it actually is other than plasma. Then again, that's not their fault since plasma only appeared once so far as I recall, with the Kal. So, erm, in summary, I guess I'm asking... errr... what is it in story? As in, is it just some really hot "stuff" (that's what I meant by lava; really hot stuff*), superheated fire (is that even possible?), ionized gas like in real life, or something else? Sorry, it's just that I've always been sketchy as to what plasma is in the story *not 100% scientifically accurate but hopefully you understand what I'm trying to say...
  12. So just for clarification, in story is plasma considered superheated ionized gas, or is it along the lines of something else, like lava?
  13. *Sees for first time quote/multiquote options, facepalms* Oh okay, thanks fisher
  14. No apologies necessary, I forgot about him too until I skimmed through the Helryx page on BS01 . Also, on the Mata debate and their organic parts deteriorating and all of that stuff, on the BS01 page for protodermis (organic protodermis to be exact), it says: I don't know if that helps the argument, but it's something. (Now if only I could figure out how to properly quote people )
  15. So was Krakua excluded due to him being a fan made creation, due to him being a toa for only a short time and therefore not eligible to look similar to the original toa designs since the designs changed and mutated as time went on, or did you just forget about him?
  16. Wasn't it mentioned in Journey's End though that the Great Beings never finished the second robot?
  17. So a question I just thought of is: Since there is (most likely) more than one agent/spy on Bara Magna, would they have known that there were other spies, or would they be acting on the belief that they are the only spy?
  18. Going by the logic that it's the person you least expect, I'd cast my vote for... Crotesius. But no. In all seriousness my vote would probably go to Strakk or Branar. Strakk because he's the kind of character who if he thinks he can make a quick buck off something, he'll do. And what better way to make a quick buck than to buddy up with a Great Being who's making a bid to rule the planet. Branar solely because he (seemingly) had access to the necessary technology to contact Velika. I say he had access because I vaguely recall that the skrall were described as having advanced technology (like the tracking devices mentioned in The Crossing). Though, going by that logic, it could easily of been Tuma, Stronius, or Atakus as well. Tarix is also a good chance in my mind. Or Atakus. Or Perditus(though preferably not him, but, meh, whatever). EDIT: Or Vastus. And going back to the Skrall/Atakus argument, we never did find out who lived in Roxtus before the Skrall, or what technology they had...
  19. Occams Razor:best thesis-principle-thingy ever

  20. If the rough draft for graphic novel 10 still exists, and its not lost to the ages, is there any chance we can see it?
  21. Island of Pain and Claustrophobia were no brainers for me. Then I let a coin decide for me between Perpetual and Frontier. Frontier won.
  22. 1. Where did the GB's flee to after the Shattering? (i.e. off world, just another region of Bara Magna and/or Bota Magna, or somewhere/thing else.)
