  1. Toa Lesovikk's entire team was killed by Zyglak and the Turaga of his village went mad and sent all the Matoran to Karzahni.
  2. Forgive me for my ignorance everybody but why is there a need to change an established character's gender? I've grown up with these characters and I couldn't imagine any of them having such a drastic change. Not to mention the confusion it would cause in new and old fans alike.
  3. I'd love to build him too. HE IS SO ADORABLE!!! I wonder what role he'll play in the story if he gets a role at all. Too bad we might not get a set form of him and his cuteness. Those big beady eyes were like, "Papa, I know what I wanna do for a living. I wanna be awesome."He should be simple enough to build even if not given a set. That's what I love about all the characters having essentially the same mask and more or less the same color scheme: it means that, just by changing up their build, you can easily make a villager who's distinct from the Protector. And I honestly kind of like that better than the classic Matoran, many of whom were unbuildable due to using parts that they were never produced in.Except only the elders have multicolored masks.
  4. Lhikan sacrificed his Toa power in order to create the Toa Metru. When a Toa who has fulfilled his or her's destiny they may relinquish their power for the greater good, and they become Turaga.
  5. The only thing that bothers me is there's no place to put the lower half of the handle to his hammer. I suppose it could be easily fixed with a technic connector, but it's a shame they didn't include one in the set.
  6. New legends awake, but old lessons must be remembered. This is the way of the Bionicle.
  7. If it's just dust I just use water and let them air dry.
  8. The Toa Mata/Nuva. That was their destiny, not to mention they took care of most of the things that needed to be done in order for the Great Spirit to awaken.
  9. Awesome! That gives a little bit more hope in being able to get some collectibles this time around. I wish I knew how to participate in contests back in the day.
  10. Yes they can. I don't see why they would want to though, unless they were rebuilding themselves to be stronger like the Matoran of Mata Nui did.
  11. For the record, your original pronunciation is how it's pronounced in Maori, but BS01 says the latter is correct in our canon. I would come up with a list of meanings for the names in Maori, however I don't know it'd be relevant to the topic.
  12. How am I supposed to color the body and add the mask?
  13. In one of the books I recall Matau mentioning Le-Metru being renamed Ma-Metru. So since Ma- obviously stands for Matau, it's likely Ta- stands for Tahu. Another thing worth mentioning is that maybe Matoran names are just prefixes with an added word or two at the end. For example we know Ko- means Ice, we know "Ka" is a word for spirit, and for all we know "pa" means of. Put that together and you get "Spirit of Ice" because Matoran grammar is backwards from ours. But then one thing I don't understand is Matoran names that begin with a prefix that is not of their Element, such as Kodan and Balta. Also Takua's name made perfect sense back when we thought he was a Ta-Matoran, but now it raises questions as to whether or not his name was always Takua, or if he was renamed that to back up the disguise of a Ta-Matoran. Just some thoughts.
  14. Well Tobduk means "survivor" and while I'm not sure if that's in Matoran or not, it is proof that some character names have meaning,
  15. I would think that just as there are multiple words used to refer to the same thing in our world, there would be in theirs also.
  16. Talk to Black Six about sending some MOCs in to BrickFair. For each convention your MOC appears at you get one prototype.
  17. I'd hate to burst some bubbles but... This is not a prototype. This actually is one of BZP member ToM Dracone's MOCs. Translucent blue Noble Rurus are not prototypes. They came with the Nui-Rama.
