  1. Cool! The torso armor is cool; it fuses CCBS and system very well.
  2. I think this is the slowest CR has ever been! Probably everyone is waiting for a post from Ultron. I don't envy him.
  3. OOC: It's still an autohit. When Vir stole the knife in the first place, I specifically worded it so that you could have Deadeye succeed in keeping it.
  4. Well, at least it was a pair that didn't properly work.
  5. IC Vir and Mahrika Malebranche Second Tier -> Great Food Market Mahrika felt completely lost and confused. This mismatched-eyed Rahkshi had simply grabbed away the knife Vir had given him (OOC: That's an autohit, by the way), plunged it into his own chest and passed out. "Well, we probably should take him back to the crawler." Vir nodded, simply grateful that Deadeye didn't have sufficient knowledge of Rahkshi anatomy to fatally wound himself. "Shouldn't we try not to make it look like we're carrying a dead body?" "You think anyone around here would be upset by a dead Rahkshi? Nah, as long as we look like we know what we're doing no one will hold us up." Mahrika looked around. "All right, I think the quickest path back should be back through the markets, that way." The two Rahkshi carried Deadeye between them, Mahrika holding his shoulders and Vir holding his legs, both walking sideways. As they transitioned from the second tier to the first, they passed into a cloud of marvelous-smelling aromas: hot bread, roasted nuts, grilled meat, and all sorts of spices. Neither could resist glancing around at the many stands and tents of the Great Food Market as they proceeded on their way, even if their cargo prevented them from partaking of anything. OOC: If I inaccurately described the market, Ultron, just put a corrected description into your post and I'll edit mine.
  6. Best accidental pun I've heard in days.
  7. IC Mahrika and Vir Malebranche Second Tier It was clear that Rain was not a very effective search partner. Mahrika simply turned around and left, then tracked down Vir and Deadeye. "All right," he told them, "Rain has chosen to go search alone. I say we head up that way, into the market."
  8. IC Mahrika Malebranche Second Tier Mahrika's relief at being finally acknowledged soon faded as Rain ran off into some seemingly random building. He followed her, already feeling like he was reliving the Visorak hunt. He caught up with her to find her staring at the architecture. "Do you actually have a lead on Tridax, or did you just come in here for your own amusement?" OOC: The volcano is a caldera, so it's shaped like a bowl. The first tiers are the highest and widest, I believe.
  9. IC Vir Malebranche Second Tier Vir saw Deadeye rotate the knife in his hands, and for a moment wasn't sure what was going on. Then suddenly they realized. "No!" They lunged and tried to wrest the weapon from his grip.
  10. IC Vir Malebranche Second Tier Vir noticed Deadeye's heterochromic gaze landing on his knife. "Uh, can you please... not use that on anyone?"
  11. This was so beautiful and hilarious, I couldn't help smiling all the way through.
  12. I don't think Vir could handle another student death. And let's face it, if Booger kills Vlad he's getting lynched.
  13. IC Vir and Mahrika Malebranche Second Tier Mahrika followed Rain off the car, carrying a small sack over his shoulder. As he landed on the ground, there was a clatter from its contents. Vir leaped down as well, but ended up landing in a small fountain, splashing water on Deadeye. Overhead the cable car continued to its destination in the first tier. "This is the business district, isn't it? I don't think there would be many good hiding places here. Let's check the nearby areas of the first tier." Mahrika noticed that Rain was ignoring him. This time he waited silently behind her back, arms folded. OOC: I'm having a surprising amount of fun RP'ing multiple characters in the same place.
  14. OOC: No, Rain is with Mahrika, who also has silver armor.
  15. Pre-owning the sets thoughts: Tahu: Adrenaline. Four swords is just overkill. Kopaka: Battle. No shield, no deal. Onua: Adrenaline. A hammer doesn't seem very Onua. (Neither did roller skates, but...) Gali: Adrenaline. The super axe is okay, but a little over the top. Lewa: Battle. The wings don't look very appealing compared to the axes. Pohatu: Battle. I have no love for that tiny knife.
  16. Wow, great idea! Is there a way to safely remove it if I decide I'd rather not have the stickers though?
  17. IC Vir and Mahrika Malebranche First Tier, Intra-tier Cable Car "No one is pushing anyone out!" Mahrika crawled between Rain and Deadeye in what cramped space was not filled by the cargo, trying to separate the two. Vir took a glance out the car's window and instantly regretted it; they were now far above the city's inner levels, and the orange glow and sulfurous odor of lava rose up to them. They sat back and told themself that the cable cars were safe, that they'd have to be safe, because if they weren't, nobody would use them, because if they broke, the cars would fall right...into...the...lava...
  18. OOC: Yes. But he doesn't dislike him enough to want Rain to attack him, as you can see.
  19. OOC: I believe K and A are the most common letters in Matoran, and if your character is literate they learned to read Matoran. Rahkshi doesn't have its own written language. IC Vir and Mahrika Malebranche First Tier, Intra-tier Cable Car Vir recoiled as a fourth Rahkshi leapt into the cable car. It was the green one who'd sat adjacently on the Terrain Crawler. Evidently Rain didn't like him any more than Mahrika, considering her threat. "Calm down," Mahrika ordered. If he just wants a ride across the city, he can have one." As the track of the cable car lifted it higher, they began to pass over and between the business district's towers. "Maybe we should introduce ourselves. I'm Vir." "Mahrika."
  20. IC Vir and Mahrika Malebranche First Tier, Intra-tier Cable Car Mahrika held up a hand as they arrived at the cable car station. He watched the cars, waiting for one to be loaded with cargo rather than passengers. There. The car was burdened with several sacks and boxes whose contents didn't concern Mahrika in the slightest. The workers finished loading it and the car was pulled by its cable away from the station. In seconds it would be carried over the business district, and then across the hazy crater of the volcano. But first it would pass just above a few small shacks. Mahrika scrambled up a shack, using its corrugated exterior for traction. Once at the top, he leapt into the air and caught the bottom of the cable car as it passed over. The acceleration pulled at his grip, but not enough that he feared falling. He pulled himself into the car itself and watched to see how the others were doing. If the silver Rahkshi could do it, so could Vir. Probably. Maybe. Vir climbed the next shack in line and leapt for the cable car. But they mistimed it, and ended up hanging from the car by one hand. They let out a gasp and glanced down, hoping the car was still low enough to fall from safely. Fortunately they felt the first Rahkshi grab their wrist, helping them to get a hold of the car with their other hand and climb in.
  21. IC Vir and Mahrika Malebranche First Tier "Well," Mahrika reasoned, "the farthest point would be the other side of the tier." He spotted a cable car station not far ahead. "All right, we can probably stow away in a car loaded with goods." Vir nodded and followed him to the station, trying to calm their apprehension.
  22. IC Vir and Mahrika Malebranche First Tier Mahrika grunted in frustration and pressed his palm to his forehead. Vir took the opportunity to get a few words in. "Well, if we want to get there fast we should probably not stop to look at things. Do you mean the other side of THIS market, or... the opposite side of the tier?
  23. OOC: Yep IC Vir and Mahrika Malebranche First Tier "Whoa!" Mahrika was dragged along through the marketplace. "Hold on, where are we even going?" Vir headed after them. "So what's our plan?" They accidentally interrupted the beginning of Mahrika's sentence.
  24. A big group isn't always an advantage for searching; it's slower and more unwieldy. And since they can't communicate over a distance, if they split up they're no better off.
  25. IC Vir and Mahrika Terrain Crawler -> Malebranche First Tier "Fine," Mahrika snapped at Deadeye. "Well, if anyone actually cares, I'm looking for partners for the search. I don't suppose you'd be interested." "Uh, I'll go with you," Vir offered. Mahrika hardly noticed the Kurahk's comment. He stepped down onto the beach and headed after the rest of the crowd of students, following the general flow of the students. Most were attracted to the First Tier's bazaars, so he followed them as they dispersed to gaze at various tents and stands. Vir followed close behind him. They didn't want to get separated from other Rahkshi. Mahrika walked up to the first nearby student, who had quite an artistic armor pattern. "Hey, all right if I search with you?
