  1. Out comes a human skeleton In goes a Minecraft creeper
  2. Ooh, Glow-in-the-dark toa... I like the way you think Lyichir!
  3. Yeah,I kinda noticed that, thanks though!
  4. Just a quick question - does everyone want Takua, or Takanuva back? -NotS I wouldn't mind seeing at the very least a villager as awesome as him, at the very least a cameo I hated them an their b.s. (Bachelor of Science) "legends" and "Sacred fire". But that is probably because I got into BIONICLE in 2009, and all the info was already available by that time... Yes, yes. What is the point of them having elemental powers and mask, if they do not use them AT ALL. I could rarely remember a time. I think the only time was when Vakama used his Huna against the Rahi-Nui, Nokama translating the MoL, and maybe something else I missed... They act weaker than the matoran, sometimes, but yet they have more power. Yeah, the way they acted weaker irked me. They had power, should've used it. We never actually saw them form Kaita or Nui either. In fact, Kaita and Nui in general were under-used. We know Matoran Nui and Turaga Nui are possible, but what about Toa Nui? That would've been cool to see if it were possible. I sure hope Kaita at least return...don't see why the Inika/Mahri didn't use them. Makes even less sense that the Nuva forgot about them in 2008. They'd used them in 2001 and 2002, but why didn't they get the idea to when going up against all those Makuta? I want to know why they didn't use a kaita in 2006, when they were almost dead at the hands of the Piraka. Toa Nui is a myth; it isn't real. That... is a very good question actually. They got there bio-mechanical posteriors handed to them by a much more powerful foe, by round two we should have seen them pull out Wairuha and Akamai like they did against the Kal or the Manas! Sure, the Kaita failed utterly against the Kal, but that was only due to the fact that the Kal had: Stolen the Nuva's powers formed their own KaitaBut imagine a Kaita with Nuva-level powers... Still, I hope we get to see something like the Kaita and Nui combinations in-story again, 'cause those were cool.
  5. I take the skull for use as a morbid yet hilarious decoration for my hideout. Oh right! I then poke you in the eyes, causing you to drop then mask. I then stooge the Karzani out of there. My mask!
  6. Not according to the comics, no, that was Kohrak-Kal that had it's Krana escape... Mayhaps the books say something different? As for the Lehrak-Kal, I haven't the foggiest... it remaining in orbit could be due to whatever it is that allows a super-massive planet to exist without crushing it's inhabitants under the weight of their own skulls. Or perhaps no one on the story team bothered to actually calculate the results of it's being shot into space in a humorous death scene that they then forgot about. I also didn't calculate it either, so I'm just guessing.
  7. Out comes a crossword puzzle book In goes my Italian homework
  8. Yeah objectification is a bad idea at the best of times. Actually why I was looking for ways of feminizing the builds without use of breasts. 'Cause it's so very easy to objectify once you start going down that route...
  9. Okay, fair 'nough I suppose, I just feel that you were a bit more dismissive of the Matoran's contributions, such as the thing with Matoran-Nui saving the Toa-Metru from the Morbhuzak or as Boidoh said:
  10. 1. A) I dunno, probably the same stuff Matoran armour is made of B) Whatever the Inika's made of it's a heckuva lot more durable than a Bohrok. 2. I think Lehvak-Kal's Krana was still inside it. Not a lot of good vacuum powers do in the vacuum of space though Uncertain if a bohrok-kal would work with any krana, but if it could it would be under the same limitations(if not greater) that an unoperated Bohrok would have, ie it could only do stuff if it had recieved direct orders from something(like a krana or matoran) I think that answers 3.A) & B) 4. A) Who knows what will happen to it when it's orbit finally decays, assuming it hasn't already fallen into Aqua Manga, slammed into the Giant Robot's face, or gotten destroyed in the final battle. B) Inika is more durable for a number of reasons, including its materials and possibly its powers, again, see answer to 1.B) 5. well, it shot off like an airsoft rocket on steroids. So anywhere between 1 hour to several years
  11. Alright, probably should have posted this here about a month ago but better late than never, right? Anywho, I'm The Undertaken. I got into Bionicle back in '01, was a fan for a while, started collecting the comics shortly after the Bohrok arc started, stopped getting them after the first Metru-Nui comic. Collected some of the books and as many of the sets as I could. Never got involved with online stuff until just recently. Heard about the rumors of the reboot on the Starbound forums of all places, which led to me hunting around for Bionicle stuff, which ultimately led me here. The rest is history.
  12. My personal advice would be Adventures, key points being: Time Trap, seriously, it is generally considered to be one of the best books in the series for a reasonA good amount of character development, amoung other things being Vakama going from an unconfident yet skilled smith to the confident trickster-mentor that we see on Mata-NuiLargely likable charactersThe last appearance of Matoran-NuiA bunch of other stuff that other people have already saidChronicles was good but it was more supplementary to the comics and flash games/animations IMHO Legends, yeah I only read the first couple of books, and while they were good I never finished them so I can't recommend them in good conscience
  13. Do recall however that while the Toa were out questing the Matoran had to be heroes for themselves. Rahi, sure the Toa fought Makuta and stopped his rahi threat, but if it wasn't for the Chronicler's Company the rahi would have been able to swarm Kini-Nui, possibly swarming the caverns underneath and beating the Toa with sheer numbers Bohrok, yeah, the Toa beat the queens, but if it wasn't for several industrious Matoran(I'm looking at you Nuparu) there wouldn't have been anyone left to save. Rakshi, yeah no real disagreements there Vahki were a problem, but recall the Morbhuzak plant attacking Metru-Nui. Sure the Toa-Metru defeated it, but they were nearly killed by the great weed before the six Matoran who had the Great disks showed up, formed Matoran-Nui, and saved their newb butts! Visorak, while Matoran weren't involved, if it wasn't for the Rahaga and Krahka the Toa would have easily fallen to their primal selves or the visorak horde countless times over Piraka, Voya Nui resistance fighters and Axxon, that's all I'm going to say Barraki, yeah I don't know what happened there, I wasn't really paying attention so you may be more-or-less right with that one. The Mistika line was just the first one with the Matoran actively assisting the Toa throughout the adventure, but let's not belittle their contributions before hand. To be fair, the Toa often ended up being the ones actually fighting the Big-Bad for their respective years, but that doesn't make the actions of the Matoran, Turaga and others during those years any less heroic. Heck, even Ahkmou, traitor that he was, got at least one vaguely heroic moment during Bionicle Adventures. Yes, the Toa were heroes, but how easy is it to rush into danger when you have the ability to turn into a walking super-nova? Now try walking into the danger that just KOed the walking super-nova without any powers and tell me that ain't heroic, or stupid but the only difference there is whether or not you survive.
  14. Well, in the comics the Krana-Kal were able to talk to the Toa-Nuva and Turaga without being in a Bohrok-Kal, so I would suspect that the Kal variants could control the regular Bohrok units, as per the various comments above. I would have to agree with the folks here saying that a regular Krana could not use a Bohrok-Kal, aside from the fact that a Kal unit needs the sort of autonomy not allowed for regular Krana, the Kal have powers that the Krana might not even "know" how to use. I mean, sure if you had to make due you might be able to get a really inefficient Bohrok-Kal, but it would probably only be able to walk around and stuff, things that Bohrok can do without the use of Krana anyways. So could a Krana use a Bohrok-Kal? No, I don't think so, but I wouldn't be surprised if a Krana-Kal could use a regular Bohrok.
  15. Nah man, the real question is: "what does the Mask of Control do?" Seriously, is it like the mask of mind control that Onewa had? or does it allow better manipulation of materials? Would the dichotomy between the masks of creation and control be a form vs function kind of thing?
  16. "Huh, didn't see that coming..." I explode the ruins of my castle from my other secret hideout. I run over to grab the mask, only to get stepped on by an exceptionally annoyed looking Godzilla. The mask is under Godzilla's foot now.
  17. I build a castle, filled with traps ingeniously devised to kill anyone who passes through, as well as the best defenses money can build! SAM sites, point defense drones, cannons and turrets with anti-tank rifles. the works. I then hire an army of monsters of increasing toughness. I wait in the centre of the castle. The mask is still mine, come and get it if you dare.
  18. Yeah, until we get a stated design idea that states what builds are "feminine," we kinda have to base it off of the other sets in a wave(toa mahri to other toa mahri, glatorian to other glatorian, hero factory v2 to other v2 heroes, etc.) A relatively feminine set would be slimmer than the other sets in it's wave, possessing perhaps certain leg/arm builds that would look sleeker(I guess?) perhaps. I'm not entirely sure... Unless you wish to give us the less relativistic/more absolute definition perhaps?
  19. I get lost on the way, decide to head back towards you. I trade you the mask for my fancy hat. I then trade the mask to ShadowVezon for a glass of lemonade. ShadowVezon's mask
  20. Out comes my head on a stick(thanks!) In goes the stick
  21. my robot, being not alive to die in the first place, grabs the mask. It then returns the mask to it's master(me) My mask
  22. Out comes the original Steal the Mask topic In goes my head
  23. Yes, besides the bewbs thing, cause honestly, while it was amusing on Roodaka(isn't she supposed to be reptilian or something?) it really doesn't make sense. So I ask you, the people of BZPower: "what would a feminine build look like?" 'Cause seriously, I haven't the foggiest.
