Huh, cool, looking at the timestamp on this entry, you might have been building yours at the same time I was building mine! But yeah, great set. Great spare accessories, too. A spare Sting sword, and two extra Rings. Crazy!

Just picked up my bundle, paid over the average even though I already own Bastion, because I'm sure they'll be throwing in one or two more amazing games in the next week or so. 8D And, as always, the Humble Brony Bundle is already topping the contributor list with $3,000. If I recall correctly, Creepers will actually de-spawn on their own at approximately noon in-game (sun directly overhead). It's also possible that you went far enough away for that game chunk to unload and reload when you came back. Either way, yay! No creepers in your way! To get rid of Creepers easier in the future, I highly recommend collecting a bunch of arrows from dead skeletons, and crafting a bow to shoot them with. It only takes three fully-pulled-back arrows to kill a Creeper from far away, and my trusty bow has saved my buildings and myself on many occasions. =)

Dang, man... I hope that college situation gets sorted out fast. You did nothing to deserve it; you're paying good money for those classes. As for the award ceremony, don't think so lowly of yourself! If an instructor singled you out for an award, I'm sure you deserve it. Feel proud! I finally got around to opening my Series 7 minifigs yesterday (I hadn't read your review yet) and boy, was the laptop a surprise to me. In all the pictures I'd seen before, it was folded up and he was holding it like a briefcase. Then I opened it up and was all "holy cow it's a laptop, BEST MINIFIG EVER". But yeah, I think the C:\ mug is just supposed to be a reference to the file directory designation, not an emote... Excellent review, your thoughts and photos are very thorough. I hope I can look forward to a review for Series 8 when it comes out!
