  1. Basking in your victory, you fail to notice the rising water below you. By the time you notice, you're already neck deep. The cold darkness engulfs you. The only thing your senses pick up is a faint, yet beautiful cry. ...sympathy is never lasting i hunger for revenge... Foolish you may be, but you're not careless. You hold the mask tightly against your chest as your vampiric senses activate. ...pretending everything will be pretending everything is going... Something is coming, slowly yet steadily. You can sense its sharp tusks aiming your way. ...on and on and on and on... You brace yourself! ... Dermis Turtles? Just a bale of four inoffensive Dermis Turtles?! ...That explains the tusks, and the beautiful cry. Yet you can't help but feel that this is not the true source of the alarms. It's almost as if something else was hiding among them... It is. ...FAAAAAAAAACE MEEEE... A barrage of projectiles detonates against you, engulfing you in blinding light. Among them, a mighty winged figure approaches, its mask easily distinguishable as a Faxon. On its back, another being wearing a Komau, and triumphantly brandishing a device from which those chants blare. ...CLOSER TO REALITY... CLOSER TO THE EDGE... Your vampiric abilities are useless as you're impaled by a set of talons. One of them rips straight through your heart. ...CLOSER TO REALITY... CLOSER TO MYSELF... The Komau-wearing being, me, deactivates his mask's influences over the Faxon-wearing being. The Dermis Turtles look on, trapped by some unexplained interest. The Ignika was passed by the talons through one of its eyeholes. Of course, it is intact. As we begin to remove it from your loyal grip, the Ignika's mysterious plans come into play once again... An explosive energy modifies me, the other, and the four Dermis Turtles... ...FAAAACE ME... New from BIONICLE. The Mask of Life has given birth to new heroes! Led by their masters, Hahli and Lipuret, the four Toa Dermis are here! With new armor and weapons, these amphibious warriors take the battle for the Mask of Life to new levels! BIONICLE. Each set sold separately. ... What? The... uh... Toa Dermis'... mask. ...But since I am their... "master"... that makes it my mask! seriously what just happened
  2. Out comes a Saiyan with long rainbow-colored hair and unmeasurable power. In goes MS Paint.
  3. MN: MOM! Tell him it's my turn on the Thornatus! Metus: No it's not!
  4. Just noticed I'm a Turaga now whaaaaa

    1. Downfall

      Downfall

A toast in your honor, Turaga Lipuret.

  5. [one millennium or so in the future...] User A: I can't help but feel this board's dying. [board is literally just their post and the reply box. Hapori Tohu lies immoveable on top, still watching over its home in its last moments.] User 1: Well yeah, I mean BIONICLE's over for the 7th time, and it's been three cycles since GregF IV last updated the G6 neurocasts. The recovery of G4's Legend of the Hero Mask City 3 is on hiatus, and there's only 6 G1 Hahli Mahri sets left intact in the whole planetary system. There's still many fans out there, though, just look at r/bioniclememes's continuous cortical outputs. I'd say BIONICLE will live on for at least a thousand more years... User #: And this topic will still be alive by then...
  6. Out comes a BIONICLE serial from 2007-2011. In goes a Toad (from the Super Mario series).
  7. Click: Oh, look at me! I'm gonna go touch the mask!
  8. We're off to a good start! The story's atmosphere fits its placement well, and the characters are true to their MNOG portrayals. Making Tamaru a she is an odd decision, but it's not a big deal at all. Her actions make it believable. I like her treespeak, enigmatic but not incomprehensible. Taipu is lovably mild, as always. His dedication to Onu-Koro is spot-on. Kapura is fine too. I hope we can find out more about the mystery of his travel technique... Good job! Keep it up!
  9. I am completely enamoured with the Podracer, but they're all good designs.
  10. You're reminded of the existence of democracy, forcing you to run for president. Among your competitors is yours truly, promising a new era of socioeconomical prosperity and free Kanohi for everyone. And I have a kitty. Election day comes, and the results are in! ...got 'em.
  11. Random Ta-Matoran: Cake: Check! Another random Ta-Matoran: Balloons: Check! Jala: Start singing on my mark! Jala (thinking): Hahli's gonna love the surprise party!
  12. Out come an anime Gali Nuva, which I'll not describe any further for the sake of our sensibilities, and a BIONICLE chick, aka Roodaka. In go a Nintendo DS with BIONICLE Heroes loaded and a Voyatoran which is not Velika.
  13. The mask hasn't moved from the Makuta's... hands? Are those hands? ...I don't think I-say-so works with him. Let me try. givethatmaskgivemethatmaskgivethatmaskgivemethatma- *untranscribable impact noise* Ow! ...nope. Not moved a bit. Guess you'll have to come get it, otherwise we're doomed. The Makuta's mask, still.
  14. I left the Gukko outside a cave and started doing what I know best: digging my troubles away. ... The earth today is warmer than usual, isn't it? ... ... ...I'm not sure what direction I dug in, because there's a lot of water here. I think it's the old Great Mine. The pathway to Onu-Koro is blocked by a big lava flow. Unusual, Ta-Wahi's lava rivers don't pass through here... Oh well, gotta keep digging. Down, down, down we go... ... Wonder about that mask I once had. Hope it's on good hands, since it's not on mine... ... ... *thud* Wait, what? It's solid ground. Reminds me of some good armour I saw once. There's a hatch... ... ... ...oh. So there's the mask.
  15. My opinions about the previous films couldn't be closer to the first paragraphs of the review. Good to know my expectations for this one will be met, then (except the BIONICLE part. Bummer). Now, if anyone who has seen Bumblebee can please help me with this: is it worth watching at this point, or can I wait some more until it's on PPV and direct my family's theatre budget to this one instead?
  16. Awesome story. I loved the characters (although I might be a bit biased on Jaiya's design...), and his dynamic with Roz would make for a great ongoing buddy cop show. My one problem with the story (and tha"problem"'s too big of a word, actually) is that moment where Sykit adresses the weapon's canonicity. As informative as it was, it felt a bit out of place in the conversation. Still, that's but one small thing in an otherwise very solid, entertaining story. Congrats on such a great story! Will we ever see more of Detective Jaiya?
  17. Soaring on a Gukko bird that escaped its stable before the catastrophe, I am instinctively carried over the barren treetops, where a single figure, you, stands. I notice the golden item in your grasp and understand the situation. So I barrage you with disks until you fall down. The Gukko dives to follow your fall, where its powerful beak grabs the mask. Not before I blast your face off with some more disks, though. Your figure is lost to the deadly swamps below. I carry the mask with me, hoping to find someone who can aid me in its secrets. The Mask of Life is in my hands now.
  18. "That encounter was the beginning of a phobia that would last generations... -Toa Pohatu, 2016."
  19. Formidable. I have overestimated the deepness of the creature, foolishly believing its name alone would not ring the smallest of reactions. I have learned something. Let us return to the subject at hand, shall we? ... ...so yeah. A country for us. Crazy, amirite? Yeah...
  20. *Planet of the Spiny Stone Apes [no, really. https://biosector01.com/wiki/Spiny_Stone_Ape ]
  21. Akilini (don't you feel we're starting to cycle through these?)
