  1. I really think MB has something here. Neo shifters are now in their 3rd release of new sets, and they keep getting better. I am eagerly awaiting the web shifters, as I want to play the web games associated with the toys. Internet interactive for the win! I'll take a pic of all my shifters so one can see the evolution of these toys. Bummer on the missing part, oh well, it happens in Lego too....... They sent the rubber to you for free right? I am sure MB has a replacement parts service like TLG. And nobody said ya HAVE to like em 5. tee hee
  2. I got 4 of the 6 new neo shifters! Yeah yeah yeah, they are mega blocks, who cares. I like em for their action figure quality, as I was an action figure collector long before being a lego builder. These are by far the coolest looking Neo Shifters. While the Paladins feature the older parts design, their new wings, masks and weapons are totally awesome! And the Templars!!!! The Templars are So AWESOME! Please see pics...... And please click the pics to see bigger pics! Here we have the Paladins. And their eyes light up all cool like. Their eye patterns will project onto a wall if they are close enough. The masks are a lot more detailed now than they were before, and the figures joints are really tight, unlike the last batch of shifters. The Neo's that come with these guys are the new Uuber poseable type as well, having jointed knees and waist, and the arms still move like the old ones, and the head is a better design that doesn't break like the old Neos. Like previous sets, the Neos fit snugly into the chests of their shifter counterparts. Here we have the Templars. Note the awesomeness of translucent rubbery parts.... They also have a new style of hand and foot. The Templars eyes light up with the sickly green color of corrupted hydrax fiends... The Templars masks are made of rubber, while the Paladins masks are the traditional plastic type. They are very secure, and the rubber makes for a cool organic factor. The angle on the wings is cool too, as they flip out all wicked like when you release them when its in ball mode. This pic shows the angle that they sit at... And of course, both types rolled up into their ball form.... The remaining Paladin and Templar are arriving in the mail sometime this week, as well as the web shifters. I have been waiting for the web shifters to come out for months! I can't wait to see how they are! Stay tuned for a blog entry as soon as I get em in!

    Awesome Stuffs

ZOMG SCORE! You got some great parts action there Kohaku! How cool to have parts from Czar too!
  4. My truck has a flat tire... ARG! Good thing I made it here ok. Mustv'e picked up a sharp object, or the tire is just too worn. The inner edge got worn down pretty low last year 'cause the axle I used to replace the bad one is bent, making the wheels splay out. The truck the axle came from was a wreck I salvaged for parts, but it had been winched down too tightly when it was towed, hence the splayingness...... all that work.... I'll have to get it fixed when I get back to Seward, so I'll have to use my spare, but its a summer tire..... :annoyed2: I hope it doesn't affect the performance of the truck on ice. The highway could be bad tomorrow...... 130 miles of icy two lane highway with no streetlights..... O_O Anyway....... I got my top errands done. I still have some to do tomorrow, but I get more free time than I did today. My friends "mothers blessing" ceremony was awesome! Way better than any traditional baby shower. We all gave her a bead or charm for a necklace she will make to wear when she goes in to have her baby. There was also a book we recited verses from. It was really sweet, and we made prayer banners that she can hang on a string. Overall, it was very special, and they had good food there too! The charm I made for her was a small pomegranite that had dried up, and had the seeds rattling around inside. It was a hit, and my mom gave her one that had a stone she found one day in the yard. It was a smooth round piece of granite with a smaller round piece of rose quartz fused with it, and it resembled a womb. And I spent the $50 Target gift card that I won in a sweepstakes on a yellow jetrax at the brand new target store!!!!! I am building it now! Ta ta!
  5. It doesnt work, and I know this because I have gone on dates where guys buy, but they still run away LOL I'm Scawee :3

    The Big Question!

Hoooorayyyyy! More happy people! Congrats to them! :3
  8. Or try at least. I am headed to Anchorage this weekend for both visiting and work. I gotta pick up a variety of things for work, like envelopes, taillights for the boss's truck, the starter for the dump truck, a pile o bubblewrap for insulating under portable restrooms, plus I am sure I can think of a few other things. After that stuff, my friend is have a "mothers blessing" gathering. She is having a baby soon, and all of us friends are getting together to make a power bracelet for her to take with her when she goes in to have the baby. I won a $50 gift card to Target when they had their grand opening up here in October. I plan on using it to get the yellow Jetrax. I hope hope hope they have it! *XX's fingies* I hope that there are also new Neo Shifters. I am dying to get the new ones, and the web battlers! They rock the older ones sockszorz! Lots of really cool tranz color parts.

    Yay

With Magic....... Congrats on adulthood! Nows when you get to remember how great it was to be a kid and not have to worry about being responsible! LOL
  10. I have also heard that on the knights bus kit (harry potter methinks) that set had varying shades of KK2 purple in it. The fact that the plastic starts out clear, and is filled with colored plasic makes consistency more of an issue. This is seen in other colors as well. Some pieces being more transparent than others. Purple was abolished because they couldn't make a batch consistently anymore, plus cause its not a huge seller, like turquoise.

    Hay Guise

It about not aggravating the point Ca-Gerrin. So Omi doesn't think the Emote is awesome. I don't particularly like it either, its just another emote..... So please, just let it rest.

    Thats It!

Alaska is huge in its hugeness, but in reality, it is like a small town....... a small town ruled by......... GIANT MATA-NUI!

    Thats It!

After seeing so many Mata-Nui mocs lately after those images popped up, it makes me wanna build a Mata-Nui. But I won't be made of bionicle pieces........ I'll use Bionicle where its needed, but the moc will be predominantly system elements, and it will be BIG. A future project.......... I love revelations!
  15. Ya, you can see one of the propane burners in the pic with the toasty nomnom marshmallow. Its a cookstove with an oven, and it also has a woodstove on it. The stove was used to heat the water in the house back in the day.
  16. MMmmmmmmmmmmm nomnomnomnomnomnomonom!!!!! I love my stove
  17. Hey everyone. For those who saw me close my main moc topic, do not fear. I have not given up on Trials of Terror. Right now, my life is a total mess, and I simply do not have the time to keep up with the project. I will re-post at a later date with the new mocs and story updates. I hope I can get things straightened out, I am so depressed right now.

  19. I had a great time with Ben and his kids friday night. we carved up 5 pumpkins, all with silly faces, and I taught Ben a new carving technique. I have one pumpkin left, and was going to bioniclize it. What kanohi shall I immortalize?
  20. Probably not Seran, anyhoo, you'd have to move to alaska for that LOL I have one pumpkin left, as we carved 5 friday night, three of theirs and two of mine.

  24. Thanks Kohaku, I really hope so too. I find myself thinking about him a lot. I have a feeling he will call me on sunday...... I seem to remember him saying he has his kids thursday thru saturday.....
  25. I've been wandering around, feeling lost. With no one by my side, I was thinking that I was going to head into winter all by myself, until something cool happened the other day. I ran into an acquaintance of mine named Ben while I was shopping for groceries. I met him through work over the summer, as he works for one of Sewards largest construction firms. He's come to the tool rental to pick up tools for some of the jobs around town. I always liked talking to him, he seemed really nice. Well, now that I am single, we exchanged phone numbers, and made a date. Last night we went to see a movie, and had a good time hanging out and sharing some info about each others lives. He is in the process of going through some massive life changes, so whether or not he is ready for life anew is yet to be told. It was refreshing to have a date with no pressure whatsoever, where we enjoyed eachothers words, smiles and gazes, rather than hugs and kisses. I hope our next outing is filled with more joyous time like this. He seems really interesting! He's a nut for fishing, and so am I................. :3 My heart is dancing with anticipation!
