  1. You know Lollipop Ladies? How they carry those big signs and walk in front of traffic to make it stop. I think it would be really hilarious if one jumped into the middle of the road, slammed their staff-sign down and yelled "YOU SHALL NOT PASS!" to the cars :P

"I am a servant of the secret pedestrians, the dark honk will not avail you! Traffic light of Udun!"

That would make for a good comic strip

    :superfunny: RONFL

Dang now I know what to draw ^^

  3. Black ice is Ice mixed with oil and dirt on the rode. You can't see it until you are swerving out of control from skidding over it.

It's way more dangerous then normal ice and is the cause of most of the crashes here in BC.

As for the winter Olympics. I predict the extensive use of man made snow.

    K~LL

Has there ever been a recent winter-sport event where they didn't`? "Looky! Snow...sort of."

  4. I think that's what the weatherman would call 'a dusting'

    A dusting? Naw.

that is as much snow Vancouver would ever get in a typical december.

late January we get the black ice.

    K~LL

Black Ice? I guess you don't get as much snow since it's very close to the coast...but then again it's Canada and the olympic winter-games are coming ^^

  5. Who was it who put in their sig "I think its sad that you still see RIP Matoro messages, but not any RIP Beliwa messages"?

I wonder why there are no Toa Lhikan RIP messages?

he was a bigger part of the story then Beliwa was.

    K~LL

Uhm Kallista...Beliwa was a real member. You know, I told you about it...but shhhhh

though I agree...Lhikan wasn't mourned as much. Pity. He was the best Toa so far. After Kopaka.

  6. Your entry shall bow down to mine!

Uh Dude, I saw a WIP of VF's and yours will fall on it's face and worship his entry.

I know mine will when it's done.

It's a good job the public decide things, not the artists

Sometimes though it is not only a question of skill but of pleasing the audience as well...which sometimes sucks when the audience has a weird taste.

    amen to the odd taste.

as of now I just want to get my thing done and hope for more votes then last time.

and for a better theme for contest 17 ^^

    K~LL

A good theme for the next contest for you could be a "Draw something purple" one. ^^ I mean it could be retro, since purple kind of vanished from our available colours in parts...

  7. Project Klinkerpoop? I Am Noob?

Nope, no argument from me on this point

I ignore sig fads like those really. They only take up a single line, it's pretty easy

Like I said, those are pet-peeves. Annoying but ok. I mean if I was so fed up with them , I wouldn't be here, right?

You're not the only one. There are quite a few people who ask if he minds all the questions and he says that if he did he wouldn't answer them. But the topics that totally miconstrue everything get my goat too

Although, I am not really fond of Mata Nui as an actual body beeing the universe though. That is kind of...ungh. It ridicules a lot of things for me.

Who was it who put in their sig "I think its sad that you still see RIP Matoro messages, but not any RIP Beliwa messages"?

Can't remember, but oh so truly spoken!

For the sake of argument, I think Omi enjoyed his power a little too much at times. It's all very well closing down a topic that needs to be closed down, but if you're going to be really snarky about it it just looks like you're doing it because you can

Like I said, no real need for praise.

But on the other hand you can't have a GM who is too strict either *coughShadowsinAHCcough*

Who said something about beeing strict? I said I wouldn't want to babysit anyone. It's more about finding the middleway -.-

Personally I like using obscure weapons. An Atl-atl for Hysa, a macuahuitl for Schova.

I went for Aztec weaponry not Asian weaponry though

Well yes, but who knows what they are? If people want to use such names, provide an explanation at least. Besides, I am curious, what are these things?

Again I think someone summed it up really well when they said something along the lines of: "When people stop drawing their male Toa with large muscles and an impressive physique, I will stop drawing my females so well endowed"

    Must have been Raka ^^

  9. I'm Long-sighted/far-sighted. but people say I have large looking eyes... that's weird.

    K~LL

I didn't get that impression but maybe it is because you are more on the smaller side that the proportions seem a little different? (Just making a wild guess here.)

    Wait, eyeballs and not pupils?

If you hadn't noticed Nihy, pupils can contract and expand of their own free will  Their size only denotes how bright the room is. To prove it, here's a quick test for you to carry out:

Put yourself in a dark room with a mirror, then turn the light on. Watch as your pupils magically shrink!

Your eyes work by taking in light through the pupil which then hits some spot at the back of your eye that activates rod and cone cells which show your brain what colours you're seeing. However to get through your pupil the light has to get past the lens of your eye. The light is refracted and so becomes a sort of hourglass shape ( like this: ><) with your pupil in the middle at the pinch. If your eyeballs are slightly irregular then that light doesn't hit the spot quite right, resulting in blur.

Ah GCSE biology. What a wonderful thing

Just a little heads-up from my mum (who IS a doctor) concerning what Tpti just said: Try to train your eyes at seeing from different distances, if you're on the PC for example. If you always are really close to the screen and don't vary the distance your pupils will slightly loose the ability to expand and contract when adapting to the distances, resulting in problems with short/far sightedness.

  10. as long as you have a coffee or fav beverage in your hand nothing should get you wrong

That's called a caffiene high, Ranna, and I don't think it's quite the same thing :P

I know what you mean about the bus stop people (<WARNING! RANT ALERT!>). The old women who whap you with their handbags and say "Wait your turn" when you've been there longer than them. Seriously. I had been waiting for half an hour and this old biddy barges in front of me claiming she'd got to the stop first when she'd been there all of two minutes.

They say they just want to be shown a little respect. Well perhaps they should try showing a little respect first so we don't just think they're all just selfish pensioners who seem to think they're owed the world because of the amount of wrinkles they've amassed.

Confuscious said: "Do not mistreat the youth of today. Their future could be greater than your history."

I threaten my parents like that. "Oh you and your youth, what do you know?" my dad sometimes says and I reply "I know what oldpeoples home I am gonna put you in once your totally gaga from age if you don't stop this."

I don't mean it seriously but aparrently it works.

    SOOOO dang right ^^

But anyway. I first saw your art on B-shelf...and I lost the link back then and I searched a lot. Luckily I wound up here one day :P

I am not so much bother by fans on other sites, I am more bothered by requests. (Not that much)

OH well...Coffeine flash makes all weird tonight.
