  1. I am fully on board with Lenny. Check out his hashtags thread for more info.
  2. Onu-Toa don't have any extra strength, that's Po-Toa.
  3. Probably because of the way he uses it. He charges forward and tries to land a solid poke.
  4. Well then why did you say that they'd have history and science classes? and
  5. Obviously, new Toa would get mentored by older Toa and schools did exist in Ga-Metru, but your idea of a Bionicle High School is very goofy. First, there probably would never be enough new Toa created at once for a whole school dedicated for them. Second, Bionicle is a story about adventure, saving universes, and you want to see it turn into a teenage social drama with jocks and valedictorians? So how would the teachers ensure that their students remember anything? Just hope that they don't forget their lessons by the time they need them? Why would wise, calm Onua, and cheerful, friendly Pohatu be jocks? Why would Tahu, who is literally a hot-headed macho jock, be a valedictorian? Why would the Toa Nuva even be students instead of teachers? I'm very sorry, but are you familiar with these characters at all?
  6. huh? Why do you think they don't have a clue how to fight unarmed? Of course they do.
  7. Certainly good points, but I was under the assumption that the parallels were going to be more specific.
  8. We already live with The Legend Reborn. Not a lot better.
  9. Vezon should have had *one* power. Dunno what it could be, though.
  10. Tell me more how you relate to the personification of the Ignika.
  11. What other Makuta were you familiar with in 2001?
  12. Discussing things. There's nothing here to discuss in this topic. "More Bionicle media would have been nice" isn't a topic for discussion. It's just a general statement
  13. The piece used for Kopaka's shield predates Bionicle.
  14. Cool sentence. Rick Riordan's series all take place in the same universe, and they all have similar tones so they fit together well. Like I said, they were "designed to fit and tie into each other" Is it? Besides simply using Maori names, how many parallels can you tie between Bionicle's story and specific real-life mythologies, cultures, and religions?
  15. Toa vs. Makuta in 2001 is the best fight in animation history.
  16. In Bionicle, elements are gendered. Let's just drop this or now.
  17. Yeah, basically. There's probably a lot of minor variations, but none have been specified in the canon.
  18. Well what did you mean by "soft overcomes the hard?" First, you're equating femininity to soft and masculinity to hard, which is automatically questionable, and second you used the word "overcome" which means being superior, conquering, or surpassing in some way. Also, Air is the softest element around but it's still male, and as for Lightning, I'd definitely classify it as hard, because it's just Fire on drugs.
  19. I'd delete all my online accounts and go into hiding.
  20. I don't know why it took me so long to notice "Come on, Greg" but you are now about to know my wrath. The Bionicle novels and serials was always Mr. Farshtey's side-gig. He did it out of passion for the world, nothing else. He got married, had a baby, got divorced, and got a lot more official Lego work on his plate that he had to focus on. HOW DARE YOU say "Come on, Greg" like he's a lazy college student? Bionicle was CANCELLED, so he had to move on from the Serials and focus on his REAL job to provide for his daughter.
  21. It wasn't that fragmented. For the most part, it was simply books and comics. The movies had novelizations, so you could just skip the films and stick with the books. When the Serials started, they were mostly just side stories that didn't really affect the main plot, but they were also readily available online so you couldn't miss them either way.
