  1. Lmao what are you talking about? Lenny never claimed to make this art; he explicitly said "Someone did a painting of..." This doesn't break any rules.
  2. That modification works on the Mata too... And what do you mean people don't like the Nuva, how is that even relevant
  3. All of those were written from the start to be a part of George Lucas' universe, designed to fit and tie into each other. Bionicle and Hero Factory were not, and forcing them together would result in a disastrous Frankenstein of a story. Tahu Meets Furno would be a complete farce and irreparably ruin Bionicle's legacy. Hero Factory is a silly franchise, so it could do cross-overs, but Bionicle cannot. The only way to avoid this is if the version of Hero Factory that meets with Bionicle was a totally different version, a reboot that fit with Bionicle's genre, but at that point it wouldn't be Hero Factory anymore.
  4. Nah, we'd get the Inika/Mahri for sure as well. Probably skip the Metru though, or save it as a full-prequel soft-reboot after the main story is wrapped up.
  5. Your youtube channel has like only 30 minutes worth of videos on it. Please don't randomly self-promote.
  6. Toa Teams are often named after the land they operate in. Toa Metru, Toa Mahri, Toa Mata.
  7. How would this enhance either storylines?
  8. I mean yeah, if anything gets as big as the biggest franchise on the planet then it's going to have a ton of stuff. What are you trying to say?
  9. I think the simple fact of the matter is that the story team didn't want the characters to just be shooting at each other in all their fights, instead keeping the focus on melee combat and using their powers. The Cordak Blasters, Midak Skyblasters, and Thornax Launchers were super boring because they were just plain guns basically. Kanoka and Rhotuka were the most interesting since they all had different powers.
  10. Which indicators are you referring to? It's common knowledge that Bionicle's sales were slowly declining since the peak in 2002, and that Lego decided to cancel it before they started losing money. Greg confirmed this many times. Because Star Wars totally wasn't focused on conflict or a story. All of Lego's most popular themes revolve around conflict and have established stories.
  11. I don't think they have an animator yet. My hope is 2D animation, since good 2D doesn't age, unlike 3D which only looks good for a decade at most.
  12. Well they originally had lots of licensed products. Lots of video games, a board game or two, and even shoes and toothbrushes. Sales for non-toy Bionicle products fizzled out, so Lego decided to stop putting money into that kind of thing.
  13. You don't do an open call if you have nothing to show. You claim to have three years of brainstorming, designing, building, and writing. Where is it? It's going to be very hard to recruit serious people without any concept material.
  14. What do you done have so far? Any concept collages? Also, your invite link is broken.
  15. Time travel automatically and irreparably ruins every story that it's added to. The only exception to this is if time travel is the focus of the main plot, like in Doctor Who or Travelers. Also, Bionicle and Hero Factory should never, ever meet. They would not work together in any non-parody scenario. Bionicle takes itself seriously, while Hero Factory does not. Putting them together would be utterly absurd and cause serious permanent damage to both continuities, if the crossover was even canon at all. Why do you wish that Bionicle's story became utter trash? Next, obviously we'd all be happier if Bionicle wasn't cancelled. But it's been cancelled for over 10 years now. You have to let it go.
  16. G2 was actually pretty cool; kids just weren't interested.
  17. The original story bible was thrown out around 2005, and after that, they made it year-by-year. Even then, it was rough outlines as simple as "The Toa go underwater to fight new aquatic villains to search for the Mask of Life." Everything else was based around the sets, like the Barraki being mutants.
  18. Bionicle characters don't have actual gender. Ga-Matoran simply happen to have features that we, a gendered species, associate with females.
  19. You're never, ever supposed to read prequels first. Release order is mandatory. Do you really think the right way to read the Bionicle Books is starting with whichever one chronologically takes place first? I think it's Legacy of Evil, and that would make NO sense at all. ...how did you not watch The Clone Wars in the order that they were aired? Why would that be a problem at all?
