  1. Here, people know me primarily as an art enthusiast and always willing to try new ideas and projects when it comes to Bionicle. I draw, I paint, I sculpt, I sew, I do the papercraft and more. My interests: Disney, Pixar, Bionicle, Halo, Warframe, Stargate, etc. etc. (a lot of the stories/worlds I like have a mix of ancient culture with sci-fi) I'm always looking into different cultures for ideas for Bionicle design. I also like a lot of metal music and also the sad music, if it's melodramatic, I'll like it.

  2. Oh my, that's a fantastic design. I'm glad I didn't enter myself, otherwise this design may not have won.

For colors, I'd personally go with one of the two bottom examples shown by Aanchir.

I will agree with that, the lineart in the top row of colors get somewhat difficult to see.

  3. EA E3 press conference was very strange to me. Tons of behind-the-scenes that were shot very dramatically and a bunch of early looks that really only shows new environments under different lighting. However, the one thing that really confused me was the Battlefield: Hardlines gameplay. It's some kind of cops and robbers gameyet the robbers come up with what could be the worst escape plan ever that involves destroying buildings and roads. Are they robbers or terrorists? because they literally destroyed half the city over one van full of cash.

  4. Quick question: Any possibility of obtaining a vectorized version of the BZP logo (the name, not Hapori Tohu) to use? That would make my life so much easier.

Or it might be easier to just ask what font BZPower is written in. It looks really close to Tachyon, but it's taller and the W is different.

I used the Terminator 2 Font based on what I searched around. I'm not sure but the Z might be a rotated N and the W a rotated E/

  5. If we have more than one, would you like us to put all our designs in one post? I got three here and am planning on doing maybe two more. Should I put the future ones in the same post?

Also, fairly certain that I broke the simplicity requirement with the first design, so if that design isn't acceptable, I'm fine with that.

  6. for the greek helmet example, I believe that they used some kind of epoxy sculpt and put that over their base helmet and used their fingers or a round object to do the detail. Epoxy might be a bit expenisive, but I think you can use paper clay for the same effect as long as you seal it afterwards.

Also, the support structures, I've seen some files where the modelers put triangular tubes instead of flat strips and I do feel that triangular tubes are more stable. Just a tip for you.

Pakari, I always wanted to try to paint one that would look wooden but Takua's mask would be good also or purple :D

Good luck on all the builds!

  7. Wreck-It Ralph was awesome, and the short that comes before it was good romance <3[i'm actually watching that short again in an animation festival this week ;3]

As for the Skyrim files, 4shared was making problems for me last night so I couldn't upload it sorry :(

Also I had to clean up the patterns the unfolder made quite a bit for most of the models for easier building. the gem and swords, I feel you could just build from cardboard, foam mats, something other than paper however. I also kept one ring of the horns on the helmet for stability if you want [it's on the last page so you can opt to print it or not]
