I hope that Aragonite display came with a dark room and UV light to see it flouresce. Flourescent minerals are just SO COOL.
Yup, they had Aragonite and all the other fluorescent ones in a closed off wooden chamber; you entered through curtains and it was pitch-black. It was amazing.

How are the +3 Science per turn and 2 slots for Great Works of Writing?
Didn't even get time to reap the benefits; Gandhi swooped in and conquered everything before I could do much

Pablo, as we all know, can pull an absolutely gorgeous duckface.
Once you accept it as another way to own self-deprecating humour, it truly becomes an art.
Also, update:
(Had to make a promotional image for the upcoming season of 'Pablo & Pablo')

I'll admit that, in previous years, it was a combination of being terrified of Staff/older members and social anxiety/introvertedness that led me to gravitate towards the younger members, while I let chances to interact and be better friends with some of the older members pass by.
I am glad, though, that it feels that (at least for me), the previous BrickFair saw me break out of my shell a bit more and I think this year was also good in that regard. I'm kinda sad that I haven't been able to be better friends (and a better person) with y'all in the older group, but I'm kinda also glad that it's this version of me that's integrating into the group rather than me from five years ago
Anywho, Pat, you and all the other BZPers are, like, tubular. Seriously, though, y'all are awesome people (hence why I was kinda terrified in years past ) and I hope that in BrickFairs to come (as well as interactions online) I can put myself out there more to get to know all of you better- 8

Many happy milestoneversaries! (I feel like the sheer amount of awesomeness in the post above deserved a new word )

Apologies as well about the hugging thing; it's so hardwired I forget to be more mindful! (Though I'm glad to hear that it wasn't too much of a bother then).
Apologies as well that we didn't talk more (BrickFair Funk took up way too much of our time ), but I am glad we got to say goodbye before BrickFair ended!- 1

Also a Vine involving an Avengers reference inside a Mean Girls reference threaded by a Team Farm Animals reference... and then some screaming.

Good. It was either that or Bitcoins.

Of course you're human, Pablo. Don't worry. We'll keep your secret as long as it takes for the rest of your planet's fleet to arrive.
And when they arrive, it'll be...
outta this world.

Yeah.
When I said my lab trampled over me literally and metaphorically, I was not exaggerating...

Touché.
Is that Hahli Mahri?
(jk, ily sumiki)

As mentioned beforehand, get the beard so that you and Izaak can shame me into being the ever-youthful Pablo.
Because Mata Nui knows I probably will never grow a beard.

If you check the BrickFair user page, under the 'tiles' section, they regularly update it with those submitted by various attendees. That could give you some ideas, based on what some people have done already.

Ooh, yeah. $145 a night for five nights
at Freddie'sisn't fun at all. Finances should 100% take priority. But if you need fun while you're in Baltimore, you know who to call. (HINT: it's pablo)
Yeah, if you're in the Baltimore (or other DC/VA/MD area), feel free to hit me up.

Gud. Now we can make that Vine where the possibility of that BZP member appearing is paper thin...
Aaaaaaand, queue the floating, disembodied photograph of a BZP member.
(idea for the vine is subject to change)- 1

To confirm, I've been going to Brickfair as a registrant since 2010. (I went as a member of the public in 2009.) However, it was not until 2012 that I ever mustered up the courage to speak to any BZP members, or anyone for that matter. I can still remember the words I spoke on that fateful day:
"Hey, are you guys going to the luncheon?"
Everyone gave affirmative responses, but I think it was bfahome saying "Of course." that stood out to me the most. As soon as I heard that, I knew I was part of a community that I wouldn't be leaving any time soon. On that day I truly had my interest in BZPower, Bionicle, and LEGO in general renewed. I'll never forget what one little conversation with people who were practically strangers did for me.
And then we incessantly rubbed your beard and had you chug icing.
Just as Mata Nui intended.
(just kidding; you know we heart you, val)

Fun fact: in many locales around the city there is a swear jar so that if anyone names the other place, they have to put in one quid.
