    Actually, it did use to be "Emerald Bricks", but then I changed it a good while ago. I kinda just wanted it back. ^_^

    Don't worry. It's just a MOCist phase where you think you can't do anything. I had it too.

    Yo, it's called "MoCist" block, and I know the feeling. It took me a solid seven month to complete Skotraxx, with a solid 4 months in the middle where I didn't do anything simply because I couldn't think of how to give him a head. ;)

     

    When I'm stuck I just build what I know how to build. Just building in general will help you discover new techniques, or other cool things. Practice makes perfect.

     

    Another tip: Look at those you admire's MOCs and get inspiration from them. Copying may be bad, but not so much if you give credit and maybe edit it a little to your own liking.

    CF makes a good point: doing the same type of thing over again isn't necessarily bad at all. Also, I don't call it copying if you say where you got the inspiration from. :)

    Couldn't you or another critic(s) just PM him a review?

    That might be possible, but then (if we did that) we would get swamped with tons of other people wanting reviews for dead MoCs, which wouldn't be acceptable at all. Vaka Nui makes a good point:

     

    I don't think Velox wants to get drowned in MOCs several years old.

    Too true. Therefor, I believe that we need to add in a rule (Velox) which says that you have to have a (live) topic in order to get a review.

    Please understand that we would love to review your MoC, but under the circumstances, it would make things very difficult for us. ;)

    Sweet, I'll be looking forward to it.

    Or not. Perhaps tomorrow, but I'm not counting on it. I have a ton of reading to do for NT (Jude and Revelation!)

    Alright, it's about time I figure out this whole "combat fork" thing! :P I honestly need an explanation! :)

     

    Oh and Cags, I apologized in my last comment for my condescending remark, just to notify you. ;)

    It's from an image that I can't post here, the relevant data is COMBAT FORK: WHO CAN WITHSTAND THE POKENING, there's really not much else to it. But you totally can't use it unless you were in on the IM convo because it won't be as funny without knowledge of the unpostable peripheral data.

     

    There's really no need to, y'know. I stopped being offended at remarks directed to me ages ago once I noticed that it never helps.

    Edit: oh yes I know how silly we are! Don't think I'm a dumbell. ;) - I'm not thinking it, I'm just saying that people may not always say what they say for the reasons they think they're saying it.
