  1. and you used the word irony, which isn't learned until about 8th grade. and I'll admit that was confusing to read, so I just stopped and decided to thank you again for trying to keep the board messages and Evil Serverlord at bay. -CF
  2. I've been to that store! I was eight, it was 9 years ago. They had a big UFO model with the Lego Maniac (remember him?), as well as some cool piece bins to build with. Good times. Have fun! -CF
  3. I have now been with BZPower for over 4 years! That's right, today is my 4th year BZP anniversary! Let's see, some of my BZP history: -January four years ago: my first news I saw were pix of the Kal combos. -I came here almost everyday afterward, including every day to see the next Rahkshi pic. -On April 18th that year, I joined. (I won't forget the number. I was born on Jan 18th) -I made various posts and topics and became a normal member -After a little more than a year, I showed how much BZP meant to me and became Premier Now, I have grown in my Bionicle/Lego passion, met new people (just look at my list to the right!) and words cannot describe how great this is. My MOCs have become better, I have engaged in various contests, adn the experiences I have had can not be replaced. This place rocks! Well, yeah, 4 years, and here's to another good four and more! -CF
  4. ah, but what I didn't tell you was that he is a Hordika! (But I'll also have you know that's not entirely true!) The right arm looks cooler now, BTW. -CF
  5. That's part of the problem, part of the fun of the combiner sets was that the instructions were right in with the sets. That's not the case anymore. We have to wait for a month or even longer after their initial release for signs of a combiner. Seeing shots of the combiner was always one of the things I looked forward too when the new sets were released. And there was also Toa Jovan...which was rather disappointing comparred to some of the older combiners. It looked like Nuparu with a few extra parts here and there (why did it need Hahli again?). Yeah, I really wish Axonn and Brutaka had Botar instructions with them. I think half the reason is because Lego is trying to get more people to their web site. (it worked for me. I rarely go there and here they are making me download a PDF of the instrucions. Which is another problem. If I were a little kid and didn't have a computer in my room, how's that going to work for building it?) Anyway, I have noticed how the Inika din't have combos. And I bet if Maxilos, Hydraxon, and the Gadunka have a combo, the instructions will only be online (unless it's a big set itself) Well, I but sets for pieces, because I'm a MOCer. I'm lucky to get one titan a year (parents holding me back...) But I did enjoy combos and miss them, too. -CF
  6. good luck, and judging as how you put everything off for the Bink Tower, you'll find time for Lego if it means pulling all-nighters. (I'd love to do that, just stay up all night building!) -CF PS, I really have to check out ILENN. It was mentioned once on the frone page of BZP and then "forgotten." (heck, I don't remember what it's for totally)
  7. Woah! That looks great! Good work on the cosplay. So, do you have anyone else to hang out with that is doing FF cosplay? have fun! -CF
  8. I'm speechless, but felt the need to comment anyway. That guy was stupid, selfish, etc. Sad.
  9. So I strated MOCing again. WIP #2 Yes, it is related to my Other WIP I showed off earlier. I'm trying how to put a head on this guy, and no, some of those pieces won't stay. But so far it's gone pretty well. I don't know when I'll finish him.... Oh, they are on the same Toa team. (yes, I have started to make a team) Also, I made a Pridak/Ehlek Combo. Topic here -CF
  10. My rank changed! Now i have lots and lots of Krana to collect! Hmm, seems I gain a krana for every post...no I won't spam.... -CF

    Lol.

Ok, I was not able to listen to it with my sound on. But silently, it was funny! Kinda creepy, but I look forward to it with sound on. -CF
  13. Have fun! What's with your av? Nothing against James Bond or any of his actors, but it doesn't seem to fit right about now. (of course there's the part about it being 20 times too big...) Oh, KML, people don't usually sell cosplays unless they have something better. -CF
  14. maybe you should get some sleep. anyway, at least you get invited to parties. Now I can be prepared if I shall ever be insert-verb-that-describes-my-situation. anyway, maybe next time you'll be talking. -CF
  15. Saturday 14 marked the end of the Washington, D.C. Cherry Blossom Festival, with the Japenese Street Festival. (In Japenese: Sakura Matsure=Cherry Blossom Festival) I attended, and so did other members of my Anime Club. There was lots of different booths and tents full of Japenese art, activities, food, and a whole block for Anime and Japenese Popular Culture. I attended this year, as well as last year. It was bigger than last year, and a lot more people (but there may have been something with the fact that it was raining hard last year...) The Anime section was cool, with a couple of booths selling anime and manga and other Anime merchandise. There was also a tent for Katsucon! I grabbed a flyer for Katsucon 14 for my anime club's bulletin board. A really cool part was the stage, with a great performance by J-pop band Mitsumatssu. So, with that, as well as checking out the other booths (including the Go tent), it was enjoyable. There were even cosplayers there! I guess I'll have to dress up for next year! Did you see me there? I was wearing my NERV shirt (from Neon Genesis Evangelion) -CF
  16. So, Nukora, you like the Capitol Steps? -CF
  17. Oh, that's awesome. Lucky! -CF
  18. Ever heard of the "Global Cooling" Theory? ah, well. I don't quite know who Captain Planet is, sorry. (So, what will he do to save us?) -CF

    Mocha

Yay! Binky blogged about something random and not geeky-giberish about the server drain! Funny, amusing, entertaining, and I love the watch next to the coffee cup. (But can we get a close up view of that red thing in the top right of the pic?) -CF PS, write about Omi, then me, and we'll both return the favor....
  20. Wow, that's really interesting...and funny. Nice find. Now, take this and post your own theory in S&T! -CF
  21. Hey, Aanchir, ever been to a Capitol Steps performance? (actually, I'm going to blog about this at some point, but I'll tell you they are this really funny political comedy group. -CF
  22. It's called "Otaku"--really big fan of Anime. (and it can be extended to other things, like a Lego Otaku would be someone who really loves Lego. (although we have our own name for that: Lego Geek) So maybe someone who really likes cars would be a car otaku) That's really something Omi! When is/was AnimeBoston? -CF

    Guess Who

Ditto. The idea crossed my mind a long time ago, but I'm not the best at MOCing Rahi. Good luck! -CF
